Experiencia fantástica: Flott samling fra private mennesker. Fredsparken ligger rett ved siden av med 2 bautaer over falne i krigen. Og Kvam Kyrkje ligger rett over veien. Der ligger også Kvam Kapell (Pilgrimskirke).

Experiencia fantástica: A must-see for all history lovers passing by. A much bigger museum than it looks from the outside, with remarkable items some not even found anywhere else in the world (such as a WWII-era German experimental tank, with only 5 ever produced, and this probably being the only one left in the world...). The staff is excellent and with a superb knowledge of the war to help guide you through the museum with stories and not so well known events from the war in Norway, if wanted. All in all a truly wonderful museum and experience.

Experiencia fantástica: En flott utstilling som presenterer interessant informasjon om kampene i Gudbrandsdalen i april/ mai 1940, ikke minst om britenes heroiske kamp i Kvam. Videre forteller utstillingen om MILORGS virksomhet i Gudbrandsdalen 1940-45. "Skottetoget" 1612 er også behandlet i utstillingen som er vel verd et besøk!

Experiencia fantástica: Topp museum som viser mange autentiske gjenstander fra kamphandlingene i Gudbrandsdalen april 1940. Museet har også en avdeling som viser gjenstander fra kamphandlinger med skottene i 1612. Absolutt verdt et besøk. Åpent fra 1. juni tirsdag til søndag kl 12-17

Experiencia positiva: An excellent museum documenting the 17th century scottish invasion, the german invasion of 1940, the subsequent occupation and the liberation. It includes the only remaining physical evidence of the Neubaufahrzeug used by the german forces in 1940, one of which was lost to a british crewed Hotchkiss 25mm A/T gun during the action at Kvam in late April 1940.
