Museo Ibsen

Experiencia negativa: Quería visitar el museo hace mucho tiempo. Pero solo se puede hacer en grupo. El guía habla inglés. Nos negaron una visita individual. Preguntamos cuándo habrá grupo... no hubo respuesta, solo una sonrisa... No lo recomiendo...

Experiencia positiva: Fekk omvising av ein engasjert guide om perioden Ibsen budde i Grimstad, der han gjekk apotekarlære i ungdommen. Museet er det same huset der apoteket var og er tilbakeført i stor grad til den standen det var i på 1840-talet. Inneheld autentiske møblar og gjenstandar som Ibsen brukte, mellom anna sovebenk, frakk og hatt. Det var også her Ibsen så smått begynte å skrive sine første dikt og drama. Fekk høyre interessante detaljar om hans første kvinnelege bekjentskapar og ulike støttespelarar han fekk i starten av karrieren. Prøv også å tyde kladden av hans første skodespel, 'Catilina'! Inneheld også ein suvenirbutikk.

Experiencia fantástica: Really good guided tours in small groups. The guide was very knowledgable and provided a great insight into Ibsen’s time and young life in Grimstad.

Experiencia fantástica: This Museum is located in the Apothecary where Henrik Ibsen lived and worked during the latter part of his time in Grimstad. While the museum is not rich with a multitude of artifacts related to Ibsen it still serves as an excellent experience for gaining insight into Ibsen's early life. The tour guide offered context for Ibsen's time in Grimstad and how it related to his career as a writer. The tour guide also offered insightful context related to the time in which Ibsen wrote and how it influenced his writing. If you are interested in Henrik Ibsen then this is a must see Museum.
