Centro Salmones Bodø

Experiencia positiva: Llegamos en barco en mal tiempo, y el centro está a 5 minutos a pie del muelle. Como nos gusta el salmón noruego, nos interesó la sostenibilidad de la cría. El centro no es grande, pero es muy informativo y gratuito. Al entrar, nos dieron una cordial bienvenida y recibimos una visita guiada privada. ¡Genial!

Experiencia positiva: Pretty small place but very cute, worth the visit because it's free. They give a free guided tour. And they have products you can buy made with salmon skin which is cool.

Experiencia positiva: Klein informatiecentrum dat slechts een paar uur per dag is geopend. Als je in de buurt bent leuk om even naar binnen te lopen maar wij waren ook snel weer buiten.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to visit for adults and kids alike. We didn’t know what to expect as we had seen mixed reviews but the centre is fantastic and can wholly recommend a visit! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, and the centre is so informative and interesting! They have fantastic displays and even offer a VR journey to a salmon farm to show how the salmon are raised from eggs to transportation to the fjords! We really enjoyed our visit and learned a lot

Experiencia positiva: In Bodø gibt es nicht viel zu tun, daran ändert leider auch das Lachs-Center nichts. Einiges ist nur auf norwegisch ausgeschildert, den Rest hat man in 10-16min durch. Aber besser als nix (und immerhin gratis)

Experiencia fantástica: Kostenloser Eintritt und ein Echt nettes Team in dem Center. Hier wird euch alles über die Aufzucht von Lachs erklärt. Es werden Videos gezeigt und div. Ausstellungstücke sind zu besichtigen.

Experiencia positiva: Small but well designed - the info is interesting, the english translations are okay and beside texts and videos there is even some material to touch and feel. We even got a small tour! Of course you have to keep in mind that this is a museum made by the fishing industry. Still, they reacted well to critical questions. The information is only about the breeding and growing of salmons, not about the fish itself or how salmon products are made. That's not a bad thing, but it doesn't really become clear from the museum description alone. All in all I recommend a visit, especially since it's for free!

Experiencia positiva: BELL'IDEA, MA ... Un museo, seppur gratuito, dovrebbe essere facilmente comprensibile da tutti e dovrebbe avere un filo logico. Qui, abbiamo trovato solo due stanzoni enormi con un'accozzaglia di cose relative all'allevamento dei salmoni. Per nulla interattivo e con poche tabelle esemplificative.

Experiencia negativa: Very small exhibit that seems to mostly be pro salmon farm propaganda. Which isn't a bad thing to have propaganda about I guess.

Experiencia fantástica: Sehr nette Führung. Interessant was es mit der Lachszucht in Norwegen auf sich hat. Nun kanm man wieder ohne Gedanken Lachs essen.

Experiencia fantástica: When I was in Norway back in 2019, the Salmon center was the hoghlight of the holiday. I cannot put our excitement into words, this is somethung else. You have to put this on your bucket list.

Experiencia fantástica: What a fun spot! I learned so much about salmon farming in Norway. The guide was friendly and informative. You can see most of the exhibit in about 30 minutes. If you’re passing through Bodø, I would recommend you visit. I heard they’re getting a virtual reality exhibit too, that should be exciting.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a case of small is beautiful. Monika the tour guide was helpful in explaining all about salmon farming in the Norwegian Fjiords. Learn why Antibiotic feeding has fallen below 1% now. Why the breeding nets are placed in selected locations around the Coastal areas etc. View handcrafted purses, wallets, handbags and even baby bootees made from salmon leather. Amazing colours; Intriguing indeed. Most appreciated tour. Bodo is worth visiting again next year.

Tylko 1% z całej norweskiej produkcji łososia otrzymuje antybiotyki. 80% wykorzystanego sprzętu i materiałów do produkcji podlega recyklingowi. Budujące. Tablice informacyjne, filmy, broszury, galeria, zabawki. Piękny budynek.

Experiencia fantástica: Exhibit center for exploring how fish are sustainably farmed in Norway. Stopped here during a short layover from the Hurtigruten. Very informative, plenty of great visuals including video. We had a lovely guide led tour, learned a lot, and dispelled many misconceptions I had about fish farming. If you are at all interested in the salmon industry in Norway, definitely a required stop.

Experiencia fantástica: Interesting place to visit. Good personnel. I was surprised by warm welcome of the personnel and enjoyed listening stories about the centre and salmon farming in Norway. A great place to hide on a windy and rainy day or after a long walk in the city or surrounding mountains.
