Experiencia fantástica: Me encantó la historia de las Primeras Naciones. También fue muy acogedor ver las banderas de la Confederación de los Hudonease y el Orgullo Progresivo. Realmente me hizo sentir a gusto.

Experiencia fantástica: Acceso gratuito al museo y a la tienda. Fue agradable. Un gran aprendizaje allí. Amigable para los niños, con un área donde había juguetes o juegos. Si buscas algo local, venden la salsa/ aderezos de Thousand Islands y otros artículos.

Experiencia fantástica: This shop and its accompanying museum proved to be a delightful post-cruise visit. It's an excellent spot to find unique gifts and souvenirs for friends and family. Additionally, they offer an impressive collection of books centered around the Thousand Islands, along with some captivating wall art. Altogether, it's a wonderful place to explore.

Experiencia fantástica: 虽然不是第一次去千岛湖，但这小镇上的千岛湖历史博物馆还是首次来。 安静清幽的博物馆对着St Lawrence River，共有两层。 一楼是纪念品售卖区二楼是博物馆。顶楼小阁楼是仿船舱里控制室。 博物馆里展示了从动物种类，到欧洲古时候生活状况等，这个千岛湖不只是一个天然岛屿景点。 ~ 博物馆没多少人逛，基本包场般。内有洗手间可用，！等开船之前来走走看看挺不错的。

Experiencia positiva: Small and concise museum with only two floors of exhibits. The artifacts are interesting but not that much to see. It gives a good overview of the 1000 Islands geography and history. The best thing is that it is pay what you can.

Experiencia fantástica: Cute place to have a short visit. Not a pay to enter but instead a donate to enter with no fixed amount. I had a lot of fun upstairs looking at the taxidermy animals and the display of old medication on first. Make sure not to miss the third floor as I almost did!

Experiencia fantástica: What a warm and friendly welcome from the staff! It’s a small area but covers a lot of ground. The museum has no entrance fee but relies on donations from its patrons. There’s a gift shop as well that features a lot of locally-made items. The model ships are extraordinary! A lot of history to take in all at once; it’s nice to feel a part of something “big”.

Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoyed this museum! Three levels of displays, artifacts and information plus gift shop is a description that does not give this location enough credit. Prepare to spend at least an hour or two exploring thousand islands history & people - and set aside some time to pick out a souvenir or gift on the way out! This is a donation run museum and sometimes visitors aren't sure what to donate so I'd recommend $5-10 per person and at least $20 for a family because it's really worth it.

Experiencia positiva: Great museum! Free, donations appreciated. Depicts history and geography of the 1000 Islands region. Second floor is quite extensive and has a great 30 minute movie on Boldt Castle. The only drawback is that the exhibits seemed to have no order. I read about the war of 1812 then turned the corner and read about life in the 1930's. I couldn't find any chronological pattern to it. All in all, a good little museum.
