🗣️ Museo de la Mezzadría Senesa: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful to visit
Experiencia fantástica: It is a museum .. of the history of stories and this makes it one of a kind.
Experiencia fantástica: A look at the peasant world of the past ... rich in history ...
Experiencia fantástica: To understand how much "the Sienese landscape" owes to peasants and agriculture.
Experiencia fantástica: It contains valuable experience, both material and news.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful and interesting
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting and attention to detail. Great guide.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting initiative by the FAI.. It would be nice to do it more often.. I really enjoyed the visit to the "Rondinella"..
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting museum, in which a faithful cross-section of peasant life during sharecropping is re-proposed.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting even if it is not easy to find it open
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting place where you can see many agricultural vehicles
Experiencia fantástica: To relive a past projected into the present thanks to multimedia aids, which make the Museum an important link between generations. Intelligent set-up to attract the interest of young people towards the knowledge of our peasant roots and pass on those values which, alone, can make a Community great!
Experiencia fantástica: I find it idiotic to review negatively (1 or 2 stars) and not motivate with comment, or maybe write "interesting"! Apart from this, the museum is very rich and very interesting. A must for all those who are curious about history, customs and traditions. Nice for both tourists and locals, who are usually the first to forget about their past. Go there once instead of going to the mall: everything to learn. Free admission, but 10 euros would be worth it all.
Experiencia positiva: Interssante
Experiencia positiva: Good
Experiencia fantástica: A must visit, very well organized
Experiencia fantástica: super interesting
Experiencia fantástica: A blast from the past to relive, very pleasant and beautifully exposed
Experiencia fantástica: A jump into the past. Worth a careful visit. Very interesting.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting because it tells very accurately a peasant reality that no longer exists today, in an ancient palace in the context of the splendid Tuscan countryside.
Experiencia fantástica: I had a great time ... the place in the middle of nature and the historic ... beautiful ... a lot if it also interests those who stayed in this villa .... in the old days .... even our king co ka his queen ... and other nobles whose names I do not remember now a princess of England and others of the noble family .... I was at work but I do not forget ke ancient rooms with large paintings of the ancestors who lived in this villa ... exciting ...to visit
Experiencia fantástica: Very well organized and cared for museum. The location is also excellent. Visiting the center of Buonconvento, which I recommend to everyone, is a stop not to be overlooked.
Experiencia positiva: Very interesting indeed. How did people live in the countryside a hundred years ago? We can't even imagine it. This museum opens our eyes to the hard, very hard life that our grandparents or - for the youngest - great-grandparents lived, in which the condition of women impresses above all. A truly valuable collection. A museum not to be missed.
Experiencia fantástica: I applaud Buonconvento for opening a museum about sharecropping, the old economic system between the landowner (padrone) and farmers (mezzadri). They shared the harvest and since the sharecropper had a direct interest in productivity, the landowner’s ignorance of farming techniques was of little importance. The farmers kept half of the produce which fed their families. They made wine, olive oil, grew grains and vegetables, chickens for eggs and other animals for food. This system lasted until the 1960’s and is shown thru photographs, tools, music, film, documents and interiors of farmhouses. A fascinating look into a different world not so far ago. This is a cool place to bring kids and mature adults alike! Especially on a blindingly hot summer's day ...
