Experiencia fantástica: Qué joya. Colección de arte africano absolutamente asombrosa. Increíblemente bien organizada. Múltiples regiones representadas y nos impresionó especialmente la rara colección etíope. Nuestro amable guía vio nuestras caras pegadas a la ventana y nos dejó entrar a pesar de que era después del horario. El lugar en sí también vale la pena visitar: hay un estudio de artista y espacio para actuaciones. ¡Gracias!

Experiencia fantástica: Small but well-thought-out museum, they have a historically interesting exhibition on African art mostly from central and West Africa on a Black Montrealer and the history of Black Quebecers. They have recently added two rooms with art exhibitions. The space is well curated. There is also a coffee/bar shop within The staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the mission and origin of the museum. On Thursday there is a poetry/music event. Being an African myself this is very exciting for me! Looking forward to coming back someday

Experiencia positiva: Nice (small) museum, they had an interesting exhibition on a Black Montrealer and the history of Black Quebecers. The director was there and he explained the exhibit and the space to us. They are currently expanding with two more rooms that should open in Feb 2023, I look forward to seeing how they curate the space once they have more to work with. They currently have a fairly substantial amount of permanent African art, for a Museum of their size, but not enough room to really showcase it. Considering they've only been open for one year, it's very exciting! Looking forward to returning and seeing the new space.

Experiencia fantástica: A place that marks! We live there art in all its forms: musical, pictorial, sculptural ... There is a very pleasant energy. The majestic masks that adorn the walls and the beautiful soul of the founder Guy certainly have something to do with it.
