Experiencia fantástica: J’ai visité le musée en video, avec Clara et Cloe et même à travers un écran j’ai ressenti l’appel primaire qu’évoque ce lieu, les marques des passages sur les murs et la baignoire emblématique. Puissant. J’ai hâte d’y habiter

Experiencia positiva: I’m not sure if this is just an elaborate practical joke? My AirBNB was a couple minutes away so I dropped by because I was intrigued. It Was closed during listed open hours. Still unsure if it’s a joke or not

Experiencia fantástica: Visited on New Year's day. The curator was most accommodating, the main galleries were closed, however we were able to view their stunning private collection of Mongolian dog sleds.

Experiencia fantástica: The best experience of art in my extensive experience of travel - a must see in Montreal

Experiencia fantástica: I though I had visited the best museum in the world. Little did I know, I had to cross “El Housemates” to shake my notion of a perfect museum. While the Louvre and the MET offer grandiose expositions, El Housemates truly transcends what art is. It is truly what the pioneers of Lascaux had in mind. Both the art displayed and the host share a perfectly balanced symbiosis relationship, where art elevates mankind. I have to express my greatest gratitude to the very knowledgeable curator and director of the museum. This gentleman made us feel at home, as if we belonged with the exposition itself. I am still recovering from this out of body experience. Every art connoisseur, if you have the arrogance to call yourself such, should hope to one day travel and experience this delightful collection.

Every piece has a story and they're all interesting and funny and unique. This was a true highlight of my trip to Montreal and I'll take these memories with me. El Housemates is a must-see!

Experiencia fantástica: First stop in Montreal brought us to El Housemates Museum and what a pleasant surprise this museum was! Refreshing, amusing and interactive is how I would describe our personalized tour of the Museum and its eclectic pieces of urban and cultural art. The hosts were energetic, uplifting and inspiring and explained the concept of the museum and its unique counterparts in great detail. Definitely a highlight from our trip and a must see for anyone looking for an authentic and artistic Montreal experience! Bravo les amis!

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderful Collection of Modern Urbanist Art. While not structured as your classical museam, it is quite the immersive experience on that should not be missed.

Experiencia fantástica: This underground museum visit was exquisite, the lighting is especially well thought out, the art pieces display is very clever. The staff is fully bilingual, they even offered us some tea to warm up our souls. The goodies from the boutique are worth the visit, we left with a Dany each. If your a museum nerd, this place might be for you, but be careful to have a lot of time ahead of you, and keep an open mind. Will definitively come back.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the best hidden gem in Montreal! I never had a such immersive experience in a museum. All your senses are solicited. We have the honor to have if meeting the art director who gave us a personal tour. I was impressed by the pieces, especially the one at the beginning of the exhibit. It sets the tone for the rest of the visit. Thank you for this experience, I will remember this afternoon for the rest of my life!!
