Experiencia fantástica: Llegué justo cuando estaban a punto de cerrar y las encantadoras damas que trabajaban allí me dejaron entrar para echar un vistazo rápido. No habían tenido a nadie todo el día y aún así fueron lo suficientemente amables como para dejarme entrar, pero no me quedé mucho tiempo porque no quería hacerles esperar. Solo estaba de paso, así que no pude regresar, pero definitivamente me aseguraré de visitar en un mejor momento la próxima vez que esté allí. Exhibiciones fantásticas por lo que vi y el personal allí es increíble. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Experiencia fantástica: Un museo de estilo clásico y antiguo, dedicado a la marina, la marina mercante, los muelles y las personas involucradas. Mucha información para leer, mucha, pero también videos. Bueno para niños, adultos y fósiles. No hay tienda de regalos o snacks (inusual). Hay cafeterías y restaurantes al otro lado de la calle. Gran estacionamiento. Amigable para personas con discapacidad, frágiles y jóvenes.

Experiencia negativa: $15 entry is a bit steep for a museum that receives public funding from the Queensland government. Museums and art galleries should be free to the public so that EVERYONE can access them regardless of their income level.

Experiencia fantástica: Biggest problem I had during my visit was I run out of time. To read all the factual information you really need a full day, so much on display, models,videos to watch, articles to read. But really enjoyed it, but will need to visit again to finish off everything.

Experiencia fantástica: It was quite informative. I like reading about the WWII history and there is plenty of that here. The photo is a scale model of the USS Lexington which was sunk at the battle of the Coral Sea.

There are videos - I will be going back to see what else they have. the man on the counter was very helpful and the displays wer very well cared for and set out well loved the antique tv which showed a video of a mission that was done to secret which sunk japanese ships very interesting especially good for the blokes

Experiencia fantástica: We visited this museum and we were very surprised we thought it would only be a small museum and we would have a quick look, it has so much to look at and read and is just beautiful we loved our time here and will definitely go back. It has fantastic ships models to admire and so much history. It is looked after by volunteers and they should be very proud of themselves for the beautiful museum they have put together. It is set on the marina and you explore each room that is set out with information. They even have a lighthouse. Great place to visit.
