Experiencia fantástica: Amazing piece of history from the 1940s. All Canadian troops demobilized from here at the end of WWII. Active reservist Navy unit. Great museum. Views from it especially at night to die for! Mind you it is called ‘Dead Man’s island’

Experiencia positiva: I have donated items, and probably somewhere in there is a photo of myself more than likely. It is unfortunate that it is not available on a more permanent basis, but being in an enclosed military establishment is usually only open on specific times or functions.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful site in the middle of Vancouver. Great naval and indigenous history

Experiencia fantástica: Contains some really interesting mementos. Although it's not open to public all the time, in the rare times, should definitely go take a look.

Experiencia positiva: This place is very nice and the staff are friendly. Lots of free parking, but you may need a pass to get through the gate. I wasn't really visiting, I set up a wedding for one of the officers there.

Experiencia positiva: Worth your time for a visit. Note that this has the name of a ship, but it is a shore base. It is in Stanley Park off the main park drive.
