🗣️ Museo de Brooklyn: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Chilly inside on a hot summer day. We enjoyed varied exhibits, including a Japanese exhibit by Takashi Murakami, and the Judy Chicago dinner party exhibit.
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic exhibitions. Pay your own price! We paid full price but it was worth it. $20 Great for a hot summer day or cold winter day. Food trucks are great outside. Restaurants inside are pricey but not too bad. Gets more crowded as day goes on so it is better earlier.
Thank you for visiting, Tim!
Experiencia fantástica: Great exhibitions, awesome setting
Experiencia fantástica: We came specifically for the Paul McCartney photography exhibit and it did not disappoint!
Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic exhibits and facility.
Experiencia fantástica: Great pleasure to enjoy THE DINNER PARTY by Judy Chicago. Worth to visit.
Experiencia fantástica: The Giants exhibit was so beautiful. Everything about our visit was perfect. Friendly staff, clean, wonderful art in a gorgeous building. A must visit for NY’ers and visitors.
Experiencia fantástica: Cool museum! I really liked the GIANT special exhibition because the art pieces were literally giant.
Experiencia fantástica: You've got to see the Giants exhibit! I've been reading about it for months and finally got to go. It's so amazing, some of the best art I've seen in NYC! The way it's laid out from inspiration from masters like Ernie Barnes to social critique is thought provoking. The mix of sculpture, photography, and painting is rich. I can't remember ever having music played in an exhibit and it totally changes the vibe from stuffy high-minded museum art to relatable and relaxing. It's also cool to think about how to build your own art collection based on how the Deans collect what matters to them. Truly inspiring!
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing place to visit. Very cool experience. Paid exhibits and free ones. Can pay to go to special exhibits online.
Experiencia fantástica: The Hiroshima show at the moment is the best show I’ve seen in a long time. Worth it. Great inspiration
Experiencia fantástica: This museum is kept clean at all times and it is very peaceful. There is a large variety of artworks that you can look at and it is a nice experience.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum was a lovely museum. When I was there, I saw Giants, the Famous Views of Edo, and the Paul McCartney photos and they were all top notch exhibits. They also have a great collection of Egyptian artifacts, which are very cool. Well worth the visit.
Experiencia negativa: Went there for the 1st Saturday of the month event, there was neither food nor vendors nor access to the full exhibition. A bit disappointed
Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite museums in New York. I love how there are so many ancient artifacts from all over the world. The mummies on the Egyptian Art floor were incredibly fascinating. It's cool that there's always some different exhibits each time I visit.
Experiencia fantástica: One of the great gems of NY. Every First Saturday there is a party that should be checked out. Perfect for a date night or to meet up with friends.
Experiencia fantástica: I’m glad I stumbled onto this gem trying to attend First Saturdays at The Brooklyn Museum. Imagine a party outside, a concert/show on the inside and an all out vibes experience as you walk through floors of art and exhibits.
Experiencia fantástica: A great museum that has really nice pieces and exhibits!! We've been here at least 2 times and had a nice time
Experiencia positiva: Champion event at the Brooklyn Museum was awesome.
Experiencia positiva: Spike Lee exhibit was amazing, Swizz Beats and Alicia Keys exhibit was good. The museum is very nice, each floor is filled with amazing art.
Experiencia fantástica: Went on one of their first Saturdays, free admission! There are things if interesting exhibits. Also on the first Saturdays, they have live music and dj. People get dressed up, lots of dates too.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum boasts an impressive collection of art spanning various cultures and historical periods. I particularly enjoy the breadth of the collection, encompassing ancient Egyptian artifacts to contemporary installations. The interactive elements add an engaging layer for visitors of all ages.
Experiencia fantástica: The BEST library in Brooklyn making a HUGE difference in the community! Grew up right around the corner (Washington Ave) since the 80s and was able to witness the evolving changes. Always creating different events for the community especially for the kids! I love it! Go BROOKLYN!
Experiencia fantástica: One of the best places in the U.S. to check out art. Currently on exhibit GIANTS: Swiss beats and Alicia keys collection.
Experiencia fantástica: My first time here and it won’t be my last. I had an amazing time at the Museum, friendly staff, tons of food options and carts outside and it is such a vibe. Great for a date or walk around and create getting tons of inspiration. The Brooklyn Museum is giving, vibes and openness. It’s beautiful inside 5 floors, please do explore inside, take the elevator, tons of space, amazing bathrooms as well, personal stalls for men with a door. I was impressed. The reception was so helpful, I bought my ticket online, easy scan on or show for entry. Please note! book bags are a no no… you might be able to do a small bag, there is a cost check and bag check area. Bags are free, well the first bag, and coats are $1. Not very bad, especially if you go during a New York Winter, oh my gosh, you definitely don’t want to be bundled up walking around this amazing beautiful place being hot and uncomfortable. As soon as you walk in, BAM art in your face, get all your selfies in and please do read the art details listed and the walk and leave following at list one artist or organization. I went to the GIANTS exhibit by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, The Deans… it was very rich in color and the stories it told was beyond great. That was just the first floor, explore the 2nd and 3rd, and be sure yes, you want to go to the 5th floor. Will attend again, and support, I will do my best to go at least once every 3 months or 6 months, super worth it. It can easily take up 3-6 hours, so money well spent trust and the outside is such a vibe knowing that the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is literally one block behind the Museum. Have fun.
Experiencia fantástica: I love visiting the Brooklyn Museum! It's a beautiful museum with an incredible collection of art from all around the world. One of my favorite things about the museum is the range of art on display - you can see everything from ancient Egyptian mummies to contemporary art installations. • The museum has a lot of interactive exhibits too, which makes it a great place to visit with kids. My personal favorite is the Egyptian galleries - you can see real mummies and even try your hand at writing hieroglyphics! • Overall, the Brooklyn Museum is a great place to spend a day exploring art and culture. Whether you're a history buff or an art lover, there's something for everyone at this amazing museum.
Experiencia positiva: Brooklyn library seems to truely work for the community. It is next to Brooklyn Botanical Garden and just few steps from Prospect Park. I attended the Children Book fair, where they had authors presenting their books. I did not buy general admission to see Museum exhibit due to lack of time. Instead I spent some time walking around the Market/Pop-ups set up in the front of the building.
Experiencia fantástica: Went to the Dean's Giants exhibit. Had lunch on the steps from a street vendor and went to artland within the museum for interactive fun with my son.
Experiencia fantástica: I went to the museum to see the Spike Lee Exhibit. That was a wonderful experience! The museum itself has a lot of weekly and monthly events going on. If you like museums, become a member there to experience what this particular museum has to offer.
Experiencia fantástica: Went to view the Spike Lee exhibit. It was amazing. The exhibit has been extended to February 11, 2024. Go check it out if you can. You won't be disappointed.
Experiencia fantástica: As many times as I drive past the Brooklyn museum over my decades living in the borough, this was my first time inside. I went to see the Spike Lee exhibit which was a very impressive collection of memorabilia from sports, film, music, photography and of course his personal catalog of work. The museum was in no way stuffy or austere. Modern and spacious. Even has a space to purchase and eat food. I'll visit again.
Experiencia fantástica: Went to see the Spike Lee exhibit. It was amazing. Misses The Book of Hov exhibit. But seeing the Celebration of Spike Lee's Accomplishments was an easy TOP substitute. Well Done!
Experiencia fantástica: Loved this expansive museum with a broad selection of exhibits - mostly euro-centric but with newer exhibits covering modern and contemporary culture as well!
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum, also known as The Brooklyn Museum of Art, is an art museum located in Brooklyn, New York. With just over 1.5 million works of art and hundreds of thousands of square feet, The Brooklyn Museum is the third largest museum in all of New York City, making it a highly sought-after tourist attraction and one of the best museums in Brooklyn and best museums in NYC to visit. The art within The Brooklyn Museum exhibits embodies various world cultures and their artistic heritage. The Brooklyn Museum of Art is mainly known for its African art, Egyptian art, and paintings from the 17th to the 20th century. Famous artists on display include Norman Rockwell, Edward Hopper, Edgar Degas, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Mark Rothko to name a few. #fivestarcalifornia
Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this museum since childhood Great place to learn, and I enjoy First Saturday. The best fun and culturally diverse experience
Experiencia fantástica: Great modern museum with a lovely classics collection. Nice area to snack. Entry fee is a voluntary donation.
Experiencia fantástica: Spike Lee exhibit was DOPE! Spent a rainy day walking around and enjoying my first trip to this museum. The Africa fashions exhibit was also top tier.
Experiencia positiva: This is a fabulous art museum in an impressive location with a large collection and lots to explore. I came from NJ and I used public transportation & I got there super easy. The admission was a donation.
Experiencia fantástica: I went to the exhibition of Monet to Morisot. Highly appreciated the curators that tried to make a collection of the famous artist in Impressiont period to gather in this exhibtion. It is easy to understand the message from the exhibtion. The layout is not complicated. Go with the flow and you could finished this one around 1 hr.
Experiencia fantástica: Badass. Loved the Africa Fashion exhibit and the critique of Picasso exhibit.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum is a young museum with exciting exhibitions. I went to see the exhibition "the dinnerparty" by Judy Chicago. Really very recommendable
Experiencia positiva: This museum is really not too busy and is something I would highly recommend if you've been to many of the other manhattan museums or just want a museum that will allow you some space.
Experiencia fantástica: I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Brooklyn Museum. There are many wonderful pieces of art and artifacts of various cultures that help weave a story of various cultures and peoples. Out of all the many exhibits I found two that touched my soul, posted with this review.
Experiencia fantástica: Always has thought provoking, beautiful, and memorable exhibitions. And seeing the dinner party in real life was incomparable. Don’t miss the Africa Fashion show. Beautiful!
Experiencia fantástica: Such a wonderful place to spend the weekend. The music was amazing and the exhibits were spectacular. There was so much to see! I was thankful for the strategic placement of seating throughout the museum; to rest from so much walking.
Experiencia fantástica: Went for the first Saturday of the month event & it was great !! There was a pop up to support a lot of small businesses which was lovely. There were all types of businesses including food, clothes, crafts, beauty products and much more. Every first Saturday of the month they have an event and I recommend going if you haven’t. They had dis in the 1st & 3rd floor. 3rd fl had salsa & Latin music, 1st fl had jazz. You can buy drinks such as wine, beer & LI ice teas. They have a cafe with food and drinks. It’s a very big museum with a lot of exhibits. Going on right now there is a spike Lee exhibition & much more! On an event day like today we did not pay entrance. If you take the train it leaves you in front of the museum.
Experiencia fantástica: A large and beautiful museum with an incredible selection of unique works ranging from Egyptian antiquities to European, African and Asian art pieces. This museum is massive and has 5 floors of incredible art. I enjoyed exploring each floor and moving through the different demonstrations, which were beautifully laid out and maintained. 'The Dinner Party' was stunning in-person and was a highlight of my visit. I also very much recommend checking out the Visible Storage area, as there are many outstanding prices that are stored within. Another highlight was the massive KAWS 'Companion' wooden statue near the museum entrance. Overall, a wonderful and broad selection of prices within a beautifully designed museum. I cannot recommend visiting this museum enough.
Experiencia positiva: thoughtful curations (african fashion and pablo-matic) and architectural design of the building.
Experiencia positiva: First time Picasso exhibit was a bad joke but American, European and Egyptian collections were wonderful.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum has always served as a catalyst for my love of the arts and science. I practically grew up here. This museum has fostered great minds of millennial artists and I am exceedingly grateful that this piece of history is still standing. When I have my children I will make it my duty to expose them to the wonders of this museum.
Thank you, Satina. We're honored to be part of your life and memories.
Experiencia fantástica: Boy oh boy did I have a great time at the Brooklyn museum! Very clean, friendly staff & the entire exhibit on Jay Z was one of a kind. Worth the trip to NY
Experiencia fantástica: Loved visiting the museum. So interesting and beautiful. From Early American to Modern and current exhibition is awesome. Great place to visit and enjoy a bite to eat in or out in the garden. Everyone is courteous and helpful. Plan to become a member to lend ongoing support for the arts. ❤️
Thank you, Angie. We'd love for you to join our community and support the arts in Brooklyn and beyond. See you soon!
Experiencia positiva: I went there to see the Thierry Mugler exhibition. It was very intricate, detailed, and fun, but you can easily get lost and might affect photosensitive viewers. I most enjoy the part where you get to sniff some of his signature perfumes and colognes.
Experiencia fantástica: An excellent museum with diverse artifacts: from ancient to modern, and from all over the world.
Experiencia fantástica: A place of incredible creative diversity. The Brooklyn museum impressed with its uniquq collection and energy. Here you can find a real treasure trove of art and cultural treasures that leaves an unforgettable impression
Experiencia fantástica: Worth the trip. I have been to the Dior and Mugler exhibits here and find the larger Museum worth the trip. It is a beautifully appointed spot. Their permanent collection is interesting and varied.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum has a lot to offer if you are obsessed with art like I am. Recently I visit The Terry Mugler exhibit and it was beautifully put together.
Experiencia fantástica: Love walking thru ans seeing all the exhibits. In the past saw Frida Kahlo, David Bowie, Death to the Living, Virgil Abhol
Experiencia positiva: A must see the African Fashion Exhibition. The Museum + the Botanic Garden gives a sense of tranquility
Experiencia fantástica: Very big…five floors. I went in first Saturday. There were a lot of venders very organized. Food restaurant open. I went from 6-10p
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience. I feel like you need to make 5 trips to view everything that excludes all of the events!!
Experiencia fantástica: The trash exhibit was inspiring and I loved the section of where I could see items in storage displayed in a glass case
Experiencia positiva: Founded in 1895, it was intended to be the world’s largest museum when Brooklyn itself was its own independent city. In physical size, the museum is now the third largest in NYC with about 1.5 million works. The layout can feel choppy after late 20th century renovations to revitalize the original McKim, Mead and White Beaux-Arts design. It can be difficult to navigate and there is a sense they may have run out of funding. There is world class art inside - from antiquity to the currant day. The Egyptian collections are particularly impressive. Don’t miss Judy Chicago’s 1979 epic feminist sculpture, “The Dinner Party”. Also on display is the famous Gilbert Stuart, “Portrait of George Washington” from 1796. The Brooklyn Museum’s curators make a notable effort - both in the permanent collections and special exhibitions - to make the museum relevant to all Brooklynites and Americans alike. Yet, a lot of energy goes into popular, special exhibitions drawing from contemporary film, fashion and music versus more scholarly art topics that could draw and maintain an international reputation. Excellent gift shop.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved the museum experience! Wasn't too packed and wasn't rushed to leave asap. Lots of cool exhibits and the staff were very approachable!
Experiencia positiva: I really enjoyed the Brooklyn Museum. I liked the diversity of the exhibitions they had on display. One of my favorites exhibitions was on Egytian artifacts. Really fascinating! Also we were lucky enough to go during Virgil Abloh "Figures of Speech" exhibition very very cool
Experiencia positiva: I visited the exhibition Thierry Mugler: Couturissime, and it was one of the most astonishing exhibits I’ve seen. The pieces were immaculate, the layout was fabulous, and the text and information was incredible. An amazing celebration of life for Mugler. The process to enter was easy, although there is an additional cost for that particular exhibit. I wish there were more benches, but other than that, kudos to the team behind this exhibition!
Experiencia fantástica: Spacious and not claustrophobic. Assyrian and Egyptian halls are wonderful. Modern scrimshaw on recycled plastic is open to huge acclaim. Thierry Mugler is $16 for entry.
Experiencia fantástica: Staffs are friendly and courteous at the museum shop. A lot of discounted items. Would be nice to have more wearable items. Many gift choices available. Wont hurt to expand more item selections. It was a pleasant experience.
Experiencia fantástica: In: Brooklyn and is: museum Theres a statement in the ancient Ejypt section that says the museum is abiding by a law that states they can keep any ancient artifacts acquired before 1970. That’s humorous and convenient. We’re following the law, we did nothing wrong
Experiencia positiva: Absolutely love the Assyrian and Egyptian wings. I found the excessive woke-washing tiresome and emblematic of the groupthink currently taking over many museums. I was really hoping to see William Blake’s artwork but it is not on display.
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum with very well curated exhibits in an extremely comfortable environment. Great lobby, entrance, courtyard, cafe, restaurant, gift shop, and massive exhibit spaces. Clean, clean, clean! Extremely intellectually stimulating.
Experiencia fantástica: Attended the free First Saturday event. I highly recommend reserving a ticket online ahead of time to avoid the long lines. Beautiful museum, lots of beautiful people In attendance Will definitely go back.
Experiencia fantástica: A gentle walk in the cool that profiles the amazing talent of American Artists. This Saturday there was a small street market outside, with talented local creators selling thier stuff, and at least half a dozen food trucks. The place was buzzin'!!!
Experiencia fantástica: The lines were long for the special exhibits so I started on the 5th floor and worked my way down. Great curation and some artists that were new to me. It’s a great afternoon.
Experiencia fantástica: It's a great museum in a beautiful building. There's an interesting mix of art. I enjoyed everything on the fifth floor - there is great European and American art. You can also go into their storage room, where the stuff that didn't make it is stored behind glass. I thought that was a really neat way to see the art - stuffed together rather than carefully spread out. The fourth floor had some sections that were a bit more... challenging... But the design section was pretty good.
Experiencia fantástica: I went to Brooklyn Museum over the weekend. I heard about its Egyptian collection before, which is one of the attractions at this place. I like the American Painting collection as well. The best part of this Museum is the emphasis on inclusiveness and diversity. A must vist if you are in town.
Experiencia fantástica: ideal environment. Friendly and chill staff. Thought provoking and evocative exhibitions. Airy interiors. Whimsical outdoor courtyard. Progressive curating. An endorsement of emerging artists. Art camp kids everywhere. Best tortas north of the Potomac. in my rxperience, yo. what's not to love in a museum with the first abstract art public murals, Keibler Wiley, The Dinner Party and Mel Chinn's Fundred Project in their permanent collection and on display.
Experiencia fantástica: I love that the Brooklyn Museum always displays different fashion houses over the years. I had the horns of seeing Virgil Abloh's collections. He was so talented, and, unfortunately, he had to leave so soon.
Experiencia fantástica: The Brooklyn Museum never disappoints. Each floor draws you into different realms, where you are able to learn and admire art, statues, artifacts, and molds. The first Saturday of each month there is live music and pop ups for everyone to enjoy.
Experiencia fantástica: We went to see Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party (which was stunning) and then toured the general collection of a thoughtful mix of historic and current art. A lot of great work and it looks like the curation has been working to include more than the typical old American & Europeans that have dominated museums. Fun choices at the gift shop and The Norm restaurant had some tasty and not too pricey choices.
Experiencia positiva: Large museum with interesting items, but the museum layout and curation was lackluster. The stairs were located in the back when you expect them to be more prominent. Sections are strung together without much information to convey the context and significance. Descriptions very focused on the item, but don’t tell a cohesive narrative.
Experiencia fantástica: Overall, it was an amazing experience, especially since admission was "pay as you wish" (except for special exhibitions). The museum's extensive collection spans many different eras and cultures, from ancient Egypt to contemporary art. The building itself is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room to explore and take in the exhibits. The exhibits feature current events, artifacts, and incredible works of art from all over the world. Visitors can expect a lot of walking, but it's worth it to see the art everywhere, from the entrance to even in the parking lot. It was an absolutely fantastic and informative experience. I highly recommend visiting the Brooklyn Museum. It's a true gem in the heart of Brooklyn and a wonderful way to spend a day exploring art and culture.
Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend this! There's so much to learn about different cultures and traditions! It was absolutely amazing experience that I had to do it twice! I love how they constantly changing things around so it be different every visit! Oh, if you're worrying about parking, it's behind of the building and I paid $15 for about two and a half hours.
Experiencia fantástica: My family and I had such a fun experience when visiting The Brooklyn museum. There were such beautiful pieces of art that were on display and physical pieces. The environment was so peaceful and refreshing. Really a fun time here. The entry fee was free and it was family friendly. It wasn’t too crowded in the area but there was a good amount of people.
Experiencia fantástica: First time attending First Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum and it was lit! Music, like 2 live bands and a DJ! Food. Drinks. Merchandise. Good looking crowd. And I even got to see some art! Great night!
Experiencia fantástica: This was such a surprise! Wasnt sure what to expect but was blown away! Beautiful! Simply stunning! Beautiful large building full of all types of art from all over the world. We spent a entire day here enjoying the exhibits and just enjoying the peace of this museum. Must visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely marvelous museum and a great place to go if you're visiting NYC and want to get out of Manhattan for an afternoon! While not as large as some of the bigger museums in the city this place still can take a few hours to properly go through! The building is absolutely beautiful and the exhibits are all very well designed with detailed descriptions of each piece when possible. Highly recommend getting the combo museum & garden pass which gets you into the botanical gardens next door!
Thank you for visiting, Spencer! And excellent tip on the Museum & Garden Pass to make a full amazing day in Brooklyn.
Experiencia positiva: The best thing about visiting this museum is witnessing the effort the team puts into each exhibit. Information on how the museum came into possession of the art and stories on the artists are so well executed here. There’s also a large collection of African art here and also many recent works from local artist which is great to see. For those looking for classics there’s that too.
Experiencia fantástica: Such a beautiful environment. I enjoy this place every time I visit. It is modern, classy and huge. Floating around all day is a joy. I attended The Dior exhibit and it was the best! These are more recent photos from an exhibit regarding Black artist.
Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite places in Brooklyn other than the Central Library, the Brooklyn Museum is a gem. I mainly visited for the sake of Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibit and I had a great experience appreciating Virgil's genius. Make sure to go through the shops on your way out (Figures of Speech and the main museum shop to get souvenirs and memorabilia.
Experiencia fantástica: On a self-guided tour of the museum, I found Brooklyn very refreshing. The museum has easy navigation with displays from Persia, Egypt and ´Period’ rooms. I found the period rooms my most loved pieces, capturing room and decors front many historical periods. Just beautiful that you can step into the past with those rooms. The reception asks you for a voluntary access fee and the staff paused well enough to enunciate what they were saying. Very relaxing escape from the buzz that is New York.
Experiencia fantástica: Love the place and the area. Admission is 16 USD an fir that you get access to general exhibitions. A lot to see, huge variety and would recommend the current DEATH TO THE LIVING, Long Live Trash by Duke Riley
Experiencia fantástica: The "Metropolitan Museum" of Brooklyn. Superlative collections. Don't miss the Egyptian and the painting collections, including great paintings by John Singer Sargent, Edgar Degas, Charles Sheeler, and many others. Always great special exhibitions like the current Virgil Abloh show. The original murals from the Williamsburg Houses (architect: William Lescaze) are a special treat as is the unique Visible Storage.
Experiencia fantástica: Very big…five floors. I went in first Saturday. There were a lot of venders very organized. Food restaurant open. I went from 6-10p
Experiencia fantástica: Small but mighty museum. I didn’t get tickets to the timed extra exhibit but it was still worth exploring all the cool pieces that is part of the permanent sections. They have some fantastic pieces. This is easy to get to just off the 2/3 line. This is next to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I highly recommend this museum. Check it out!
Experiencia fantástica: This museum is a well-hidden gem in Brooklyn, far fewer visitor than at the Met and its Egyptian and Assyrian collections are as practically as good as the Met or the Louvre. The story of how 23-year-old Austen Layard discovered all the Assyrian slabs in 1840 while rafting down the Tigris river is beyond belief. The 25-foot-long Book of the Dead papyrus is also quite mesmerizing.
Experiencia fantástica: the Brooklyn Museum offers world class art exhibits without the crowds of Manhattan venues. I recently viewed the Duke Riley installation: DEATH TO THE LIVING, Long Live Trash. It was both an amusing and disturbing take on plastics and other pollutants in our water ways. I especially loved the triptych about the Gowanus Canal and the drawings of the Newtown Creek which were humerus and full of detail which could take an hour to fully explore. aside from the drawings and films, most of the art is made with objects found on the beach. You will never think of a coffee stirrer, a Playtex tampon or a bic lighter in the same way. When you are tired of standing, rest on a bench while watching a beautiful meditative film of a woman in the snow gently cleaning up her beach. After the show, take a trip to the 3rd street Whole Foods and ponder the Gowanus.
Experiencia fantástica: not worth the $$$. really stuffy galleries (fans in the corner of the monet exhibit?) and an even stuffier staff. there are some some decent gems to be found - see pic. tldr: don't pay the admit fee, just borrow ur friend's membership card.
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent! Our six year old loved the clock and Egyptian displays, along with the Assyrian tablets. The sculptures were also a hit. The cafe is nice if you have a smaller child like we do so you can take a break. A nice, quiet, cool retreat with lots of enjoyable history.
Experiencia fantástica: probably my favorite museum in the city now. the lighting isn't as bright and overbearing as it might be in the MET or MOMA at times. all the exhibits are pretty awesome. i won't go into detail just trying to make this thing a little longer so i can get the extra points for detailing my review yeeeer
