Experiencia fantástica: Most amazing toy museum, an amazing place to visit for all ages. All collections look pristine & are beautifully displayed. You can just tell so much time & effort has gone into everything. The team have kindly displayed my late Dads VW collection in the museum & we are so very happy with how it looks

Experiencia fantástica: Wow! I had no idea this place existed. It is well worth a visit. It has a working model train display. It’s set out so well, would appeal to so many people not just children. There is a play area for the children. We will be visiting again soon!

Experiencia fantástica: For all those that love Lego, Marvel superheroes, anime characters, sport cars and different war scenario etc etc etc, this is definitely the place to be, go and enjoy, I and my partner did.

Experiencia fantástica: I loved it!. The fact is, we were taking our granddaughter to look at toys, but I was just as fascinated as my wee lady. My wife thoroughly enjoyed it too. They have a collection of thousands of toys on display, and the guy at the desk tells me they have at least that many in reserve to change the displays. He was very friendly and welcoming. The museum has some good parking outside and has easy access for elderly and disabled. The displays are well organised and easy to see. I think they have promotional toys from every movie and TV show ever; thet have vintage movie posters; LEGO models, intricat, large and amazing! There were even toys there from my era, the 1940s onwards, and lots more earlier than that. There are toilets and a small shop to buy a souvenir toy to take with you. There is no time limit to looking through and many of the toys have rooms dedicated to them. When it was time to go, my wife almost had to drag my granddaughter out to the car, the had to come back for me. This place is full of interesting displays, and a lot of nostalgia. Well woth the time. Allow yourself plenty of time. Reccommended. Go there!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing museum with a massive collection of toys and collectibles. Saw tons of things that brought back memories of being a kid. Also tons of items that fascinated my son. They have activities and quizzes the kids can do as well. The displays are full, well thought out, and provide lots of hidden gems for people with a careful eye to find. Well worth the visit.

Experiencia fantástica: The NZ Toy Museum was well ahead of expectations. What ever toys you can think of are here. You can spend ages just looking at the detailed train set up. It was money well spent and we would go back again because we did not have enough time to take it all in. Friendly staff happy to talk toys. Well done.
