Experiencia fantástica: Tuvimos una fiesta de cumpleaños. A los niños les encantó, fue muy divertido. Pudimos utilizar todas las actividades científicas y el personal fue muy agradable y amable. La actividad de hacer slime fue increíble.

Experiencia positiva: We recently had my son's birthday party at Science East and it was a great experience! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The children really enjoyed the science activity and exploring the museum. We noticed quite a few of the exhibits were out of order or needed repairs, however. Hopefully they get some TLC soon!

Experiencia positiva: I wish it was bigger, but all in all my son absolutely loves this place. Parking is not great, and the ownership and staff really need to crack down on market goers using their parking lot on weekends because it makes it impossible to visit and attend programs at the location when the parking is all consumed by them.

Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoyable place' the stuff was so nice, we went for the Halloween hunted house, it was our first time there, and we will definitely come back with the kids. Spent about 2 hours there and enjoyed every second.

Experiencia fantástica: Science East is not to be compared to Science North or ON Science Centre. Science East has repurposed a jail with a children’s science hands on exhibits. Very children friendly , designed for 10 and under. The exhibits were traditional and would be informative and interesting for children. An upgrade incorporating the 21th c Web based science would be appreciated however keep the children’s theme. A name addition adding “Children’ in the title would stop the disappointment of travellers expecting a North/ON Science Centre experience. The limiting factor is the Jail … all in all a delightful experience for an adult who was expecting an East Children Science Centre . The coolest experience was the heat sensor camera.

Experiencia fantástica: We are from Northern Ontario and have close access to Science North in Sudbury - a very expansive science centre. Not going to lie - on our trip out East, when we pulled up to Science East in Fredericton and saw how small it was on the outside, we were pretty apprehensive. All concerns were washed away when we went inside. For the small space they have, they’ve done an AMAZING job. I loved how interactive everything was - everyone in my family (including a teen and a tween) had a great time trying everything out, and every corner of every room was used for some type of experiment to try. The old jail features were also really cool and doubles as a history museum. It was definitely worth the stop on a rainy day of a road trip!

Experiencia fantástica: We went to Science East during their Halloween themed weekend with our 9 year old daughter. We loved everything there but the best part of the tour was the science show. The gentleman was so entertaining and funny and at the same time explained everything that was happening. It was really interesting and a lot of fun!

Experiencia negativa: If you've been to Science North, Montreal's Science Centre, or Boston's Science Centre you'll find that this is underwhelming. The exhibitions are often out of order and the opportunities to learn are neglected. There jail exhibition is one-and-done in 15 minutes. I would spend the $10 fee on a snack and a walk in Odell Park, it will be significantly more impactful than anything this place claims to offer.

Experiencia fantástica: Filled to the brim with neat, scientific things for all to learn, this place is the perfect location to go to when it comes to all sorts of education. The fact it is what used to be a prison is very interesting and fascinating.

Experiencia fantástica: A gem of hands on learning. My seven and ten year olds really enjoyed themselves, we spent two and a half hours exploring the three floors of puzzles and displays. The prison museum in the basement seemed an odd juxtaposition, but was tied in through DNA evidence. The demos in the lobby were the highlight, special thanks to Amiel. Not nearly the scope of Science North, but we'll worth the visit on a rainy afternoon for $10 an adult and $6.50 a student or child.

Experiencia fantástica: Le tarif est correct. Les activités interessantes. Les enfants ont aimés apprendre et toucher à tout, essayer pleins de choses. La machine à hurricane était hors service à cause du covid. Le mur "de photo" était très apprécier des enfants. De plus, accès à la cave où vous pouvez visiter la cellule d'Allen Legere. C'était spécial d'en apprendre un peu plus sur l'histoire du bâtiment qui était autrefois une prison.

Experiencia fantástica: We sent our son to the Little Scientists camp over march break. We would100% recommend these programs for anyone.Our 4 year old son didn't want to leave. The staff was great as they always kept us updated on what was going on. They sent pictures to our email aswell. Great Job Rebecca and staff!

Experiencia negativa: We registered their summer camp since April. Only a week before the camp start, we were notified that the camp was canceled due to not enough campers. It is really bad due to so late notify and we have no time to make new arrangement. Take risk on your own when you register their programs.

Experiencia positiva: We had a fun time with the kids. Some things were closed due to Covid. However, that didn't impede on our learning or fun. They even suggested some other adventures we could check out.

Experiencia fantástica: I went on a business trip to pass the time. Originally planned not to go because thought was too childish. I was amused with the things to do and was entertained. Information was well presented quick and informational. The jailhouse basement section stories were humorous or interesting actually of the 30ish museums I have been to within the last year this was a top one. Highly recommended for anyone with children 5 to 12 a must see

Experiencia fantástica: Great for kids 4 and up. I brought my 3 years old there and she could try everything, but she was still a but young to care about ubderstanding anything. Still had a lot of fun and could play and interact with a ton of contraptions and experiments. The playground in the back was great and they spent a lot of time in there. We spent almost 3 hours and, because of her age, we haven't really read a single thing. So there's a lot of content for curious kids to go throught, and it is very diversified in nature. Cheap way to spend quality time with kids.

Experiencia fantástica: On our way from Toronto to Cape Breton we decided to stop in Fredericton to give ourselves a break between two 7.5hr days of driving. It was only fare to our 5yr old that she get to run and get some freedom. We’re so glad this place exists!! It’s interactive in the sense that kids need to actually do something to get a reaction.

Experiencia fantástica: The museum itself is great, they even have a 3d printer. But the best part of Science East are the programs they offer for kids.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife, kids and I decided to goto Science East while we were visiting Fredricton. I feel this place is perfect for little kids. My 3yrs and 1yrs could participate in many of the experiments and loved the experiment where you go into a dark room and someone flips a switch which captures your shadow. That was totally cool! I also liked going into the basement (aka The Dungeon) as the building was a jailhouse in the beginning. Staff are friendly and you get a discount if your a CAA member. I highly recommend this place for families with little ones!

Experiencia positiva: This is a good spot for young children. The exhibits are pretty rudimentary but effective. The only issue is that the exhibits don't change very often.
