Experiencia fantástica: Hermosamente renovado con un interior moderno y elementos accesibles como rocas y minerales en cajones con tapas de vidrio transparente. También hay bonitas exposiciones en el piso de arriba, disfruté ver el espectáculo sobre las industrias de Oamaru y fue interesante ver la casa en miniatura y el atuendo que la gente usa en las obras de congelación, incluyendo un delantal hecho de cadenas. También había una exhibición de caramelos en exhibición en ese momento.

Experiencia fantástica: Lovely local history museum. Entry is free with an optional donation that wasn’t pushed on us. Henry wandered over and gave us some amazing insights about the displays and how they relate to each other. Lots of information and don’t forget to have a look in the drawers they’re full of little treasures

Experiencia positiva: A well displayed / presented museum. Could have had a bit more as it just gave us snippets of the local history, both Mauri and European settlers. There were some good examples of pre-historic finds in the area.

Experiencia negativa: Closed for repairs no signage to say archives were in building behind but not readily accessible. With the great work.being done with historic precinct there is a need for the museum to be functioning.
