🗣️ Dar Si Said: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: We came across this place by surprise, and it was a great experience. The museum was pretty empty for the most part and the gardens were really lovely. There are beautiful mosaics, and traditional Morrocan fabrics and clothes. We went on a weekday and it was not crowded at all, so I’d highly recommend it if you prefer less busy Gardens.
Experiencia fantástica: Pros: 1. Gorgeous museum detailing carpet and tapestry history of Morocco 2. Cheap entrance fee 30MAD 3. Barely any people where there when I went Beware: April 2022 mask and vaccination prof required for entry
Experiencia fantástica: An underrated and less known museum, but worth visiting! Has a very affordable entry price, lower price than most museums in Marrakech (30 dirham / adult versus the usual 70 dirham entry) with free entry as well for locals, teachers or students. Located near Bahia Palace, this museum is hosted in a smaller, gorgeous palace. The exhibition is mainly focused on Morrocan rugs and weaving, explaining the history of this local craft. The palace in itself is gorgeous, boasting the specific arches, woodwork, mosaiques and gardens / patios.
Experiencia fantástica: The Dar Si Said Museum is the oldest one in the city a great number of works of Art are exhibited in this place. The Palace is enormous with several patios and two floors. The building’s most beautiful decoration is found at the entrance of the courtyard and on the second floor. It's worth a visit. Ps: free tickets (entrance) on Friday.
Experiencia fantástica: Small palace. Interesting museum. Beautiful garden. I like all display that shows about how to make carpet and clothes from the past to present.
