Experiencia fantástica: Kathy es quizás la fanática más dedicada y leal de El Señor de los Anillos que hemos conocido, y su historia combinada con las increíbles personas que ha conocido y con las que ha correspondido definitivamente merece ser escuchada. Ella tiene una asombrosa habitación hecha por fans, llena de todo tipo de memorabilia de LOTR y Hobbit. Si eres un grupo pequeño, comunícate con ella para organizar una reunión privada y ella compartirá contigo su increíble aventura de fan en un video de 30 minutos con comentarios en persona, junto con hasta 2-3 horas de increíbles fotos de disfraces con piezas que ella y sus amigos crearon por sí mismos, así como algunos elementos especiales que fueron donados por otros fans o prestados a ella para mostrar en su casa. Puede parecer extraño visitar la casa de una persona aleatoria, pero si alguna vez has sido un fanático empedernido de algo - equipo deportivo, banda, Disney, otros libros o películas de ciencia ficción, y especialmente las obras de J.R.R. Experiencia fantástica: The One Room Fan Museum is an amazing experience for any Lord of the Rings fan. The owner, Kathy, is super nice and sweet and will make sure you have a great time. The premise is simple, you make an appointment then you show up for a good time Kathy will let you view some cool video's that will take you back in time, then comes the cool part. You can try on many different costumes! It is super cool to put on the costumes, which are selfmade and high quality, and immerse yourself into the characters. Some fun picture taking then commences. After that some more talks about the different props that are in the collection. The museum is a real fan experience, great for people just looking to nerd out amongst themselves. It was a wholesome experience and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Lord of the rings movies.

Experiencia fantástica: What an AMAZING time we had!! This place is a real local gem for everybody wanting to become the character they always dreamt to be. Kathy is truly passionate and tells her story and what she knows with a pure joy. We stayed almost 2 hours at her place trying a lot of wonderful costumes, discovering real props and talking about the movies. Thanks once again for having us at your place Kathy! I was delighted to become an elf thanks to you.

Experiencia fantástica: My time spent here was one of my favourite experiences in New Zealand. Kathy is such a lovely and sweet person, I felt welcome as soon as she opened the door. She let my partner and I try on different costumes and took her time taking pictures of us. She owns costumes in all sizes so you will not be excluded from the experience. I got to be in the shoes of my favourite characters for a moment and I will never forget that.

Experiencia fantástica: Hands down my favourite museum in NZ. & the best LOTR themed attraction. The museum is great fun for all ages, wether you've no idea what a hobbit is, or you can read Elvish. You can tell how unique and heartfelt the museum is the minite you step inside. Incredible history of avid fans seeing a beloved book become a big movie and a bigger takove of NZ, from kiwi & welly perspective. It wasn't too far from the city, only 15 min bus ride, so great for ppl w/out a car too. A special piece of Wellywood. must-see experience. The costumes are stunningly handcrafted and make you feel like a elf princess or humble hobbit. You'll feel like you truly stepped into middle earth, & no visit Wellington is complete without a stop at this one-of a kind museum
