Experiencia fantástica: This is a great museum with such a wide variety of memoribilia. It covers the district's various farming industries, as well as early medical and town history. There is some information on first nation history, the early Chinese and Islander workers, along with various sporting stars. Fantastic examples of yesteryear furniture and home equipment, and other pieces too numerous to mention. We regularly visit town historical museums when we travel and this is one of the best we have seen.

Experiencia negativa: Compared to other museums our there, this one was sad. You also had to pay crazy prices to see objects covered in an inch of dust. There was no information to read and it was very jumbled. Very grumpy indeed! * No photography * No touching anything P.S........"DON'T TOUCH IT!"

Experiencia positiva: The content in the museum is fantastic and it was interesting seeing all of the history of Bundaberg! However it was highly disappointing that we weren’t allowed to take any photos and that we weren’t allowed to touch anything. There also weren’t many infographics/labels on anything so it was hard to understand the time and place the pieces came from. A lot of it was just placed in there with no context provided as to where these pieces came from, how they were used and who might’ve used them. There is LOTS(!) of beautiful things in there but it’s hard to appreciate them when you’ve got no idea why they exist or even take a photo! There was a tiny children’s sewing machine in there that I was pretty upset I wasn’t able to photograph! When we asked the receptionist as to why we couldn’t take photos, we were not given a clear answer but instead told something along the lines of, “donors don’t want their items photographed/donors don’t want their names associated with said item.” Why? These are items donated, no longer the property of said donor. The Bundaberg Botanical Gardens has been fantastic, but unfortunately this museum in particular has been a bit of a let down and I believe this affects the enjoyability of the whole park. Please don’t get me wrong, the museum is really full and VERY interesting, but I truly believe the experience would be improved with implementation of more labels/graphics, and the permission of photography.

Experiencia fantástica: Was very interesting we actually had a few of the items, in the cabinet,and you have to have cash on you to buy a ticket luckily I had money on me.

Experiencia positiva: Price $7.00 per adult, $5.50 per senior, large sign at front door says no food or drinks to be taken inside, very small sign opposite door says no cameras or movie to be used inside, sign needs to be larger instead of handing your money over then be told that you cannot use them due to copyright laws. Disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: A very peaceful and splendid architecture by French architect Jean Nouvel. The dome and the white galleries over the water makes for a serene scene. A magnificent and clever reinterpretation of traditional and cultural patterns into contemporary context. The pattern of natural light inside the plaza created by the multilayered dome is fantastic! Must visit while in Abu Dhabi, preferably both daytime and sunset.

Lots of plants, trees, flowers and birds and animals...flora and fauna a plenty. Do yourself and your family a favor. If you live in Bundy..go visit. If you are a visitor to our region so yourself a favor..go visit our Gardens.
