Experiencia fantástica: What a fabulous little gem to find! Super helpful staff in the info centre. Great displays in the museum with many little videos and new learning opportunities. Cute gift shop as well.

Experiencia positiva: Worth the visit for insight into local history: First Nations, expansion westward, railroads, agriculture - and the efforts necessary to make it successful at the turn of the 20th century - and current conditions. This little museum provides good insight into Swift Current and its place in Canadian history.

Experiencia fantástica: We had such a great time exploring at the museum! They had an "I Spy" game that my 3.5 year old really loved. The animals, prairie plants, and insects included in the regular exhibit are very interesting and the temporary exhibits in the side room are always great.

Experiencia fantástica: My first time there... Small, quiet... Saskatchewan history. Very well done, absolute friendly and helpful staff.. I was a little disappointed in the lack of aboriginal displays. (Enter Stephanie; museums guide) Stephanie took me back 9000 years with flawless information. Brought me back with an absolutely amazing adept knowledge of aboriginal culture and peoples , beyond my scope.. Impressive, informative, intelligent.. Another reason Saskatchewan is a not to miss adventure... Big city museum!!!!

Experiencia positiva: Nice to see so many of the things I remember as a kid from the old downtown location, as well as the additions. The taxidermy looks a bit like practice pieces, but they made us smile. Friendly reception, also.
