Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoyed learning about our own area. The kids loved making coins, stripping corn, and doing rubbings. The lady was knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely a place to go and do some reading and support with a donation or buy some books!

Experiencia positiva: We went for a special March Break day for kids. It was fun and my girls learned much about musical instruments. It's a small place but nice they have their own building now. I never had the chance to ask why they had British artifacts from medieval times; if there's a local connection I'd love to learn about it!

Experiencia fantástica: The facilities are very good to conduct a seminar or lecture/meeting. The museum has regularly rotating visiting collections in addition to its own collection. Very well curated and worthy of visits.

Experiencia positiva: About 2010: This is a very small museum, but was interesting and we were given a lovely personal guided tour. There is very little on display, but they have a huge storeroom which we were taken into, where we could see all kinds of great items. Definitely worth a visit, but it only takes half an hour to see everything. If you're passing, I'd recommend stopping in to see what's there! 2023: New building. Still small. Different items on display every time, which are often interesting, but still not a whole lot to see. Worth stopping by.
