🗣️ Museo de Clydebank: Opiniones
Experiencia positiva: Interesante
Experiencia negativa: Esto no es un museo. Es una sala con 3 barcos modelo. Otra exhibición de máquinas de búsqueda de cantantes y luego una pequeña galería de arte moderno. Me siento totalmente estafado. Clydebank tiene tanta historia, pero ¿por qué se ha ignorado completamente esto?
Experiencia fantástica: We loved this museum and art gallery. The place is full of light and there's plenty of space to move around. It's small but thought- provoking and I'll take the time to learn more about Clydebank now that I've had such an interesting introduction. Lovely , welcoming, staff..who showed us round the rest of the building ( the old Town Hall, Police Court and swimming pool ) Great conversion . It's definitely worth a visit.
Experiencia fantástica: I can proudly say that we have a great and amazing museum here in Clydebank!
Experiencia fantástica: Clydebank has so much history to tell even for locals like me. This is a museum which is worth your visit!
Experiencia positiva: Wheelchair accessible and friendly staff, but looks like set for closing, I’m not sure. Coffee shop was closed as well.
Experiencia positiva: Its a shame there isn't more than the 15 singer machines. I know the local community must have a love-hate relationship with the singer factory but it would be nice if that story was told, or even just some more machines on display. Instead 80% of the space is given over to artwork you would walk past if a charity shop was giving it away.
Experiencia positiva: Clydebank has so much history. The ship building, tenement life, the blitz, and more. The museum was interesting but slightly barren. It felt like it was more interested in the art gallery section. Saw a tiny bit on Singers, a token amount to John Brown, and not much more. It is a nice building and staff were good but not a place where you can spend much time.
Experiencia negativa: Absolutely appalled with this so called museum, the one staff member was very helpful, Outside it looks very impressive, inside it's a eccentric mix of nonsense, the cafe was shut ,and a total lack of local history,My father was the only man who rewelded and fixed the mercury statue, and who also worked in John Browns,So I have to ask were are they hiding all the history of Clydebank,in the Basement probably, why is the upper level shut, there is a total lack of heart in the place ,and a Jolomo Painting, why is he a old resident of Clydebank Please get your act together, and focus on what the museum should be
Experiencia negativa: Very poor, little or no information about local history or industries. Very disappointing. I feel vexed for people who are tracing their heritage and go there expecting to find a mine of information. Quite frankly, the Museum is an embarrassment to Clydebank.
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting and nice ☺️
Experiencia positiva: Modest collection, two of the galleries were very poorly lit, making viewing pictures difficult. OK for 1/2 an hour if you are there already or if you have an interest in sewing machines.
Experiencia fantástica: A small museum hopefully some more things to be added to it in the future
Experiencia fantástica: I called about my boat shuttle singer sewing machine. They gave me an email address which I have mislaid.
Experiencia negativa: Currently closed for renovations, although nothing externally tells you that.
Experiencia positiva: Not a lot to in it could do with more articles about Clydebank
Experiencia fantástica: Modern clean and good cafe
Experiencia fantástica: Nice place staff very helpful
Experiencia fantástica: Lovely place to have a wedding package the staff were brilliant
Experiencia fantástica: Brilliant
Experiencia fantástica: Small but lots of local history
Experiencia negativa: Staff rude. Museum very small. No information on local industry. Only a few paintings and 3 model ships. Do NOT recommend.
Experiencia fantástica: Brilliant a must do visit!
Experiencia fantástica: Beaute Museum,
Experiencia positiva: Pity there isn't more about shipbuilding and singers...
Experiencia positiva: Carino come museo ma non entusiasmante. Numerosi i punti interattivi non funzionanti.
Experiencia positiva: It's close till September 2019 for renovation guys don't go
Experiencia fantástica: Place was supposed to be closed on Monday's, but after finding out we travelled for the day only went above and beyond to help us.
Experiencia positiva: A sign outside to inform us that the museum was closed would have been appreciated! However, enjoyed the coffee and the Singer displays.
Experiencia negativa: Closed Monday
Experiencia positiva: The Shackleton endurance exhibit was very informative and the cafe does great soup... Would like to see more about Clydebanks history.
Experiencia positiva: Great building. Interesting exhibits, especially the sewing machine windows. Home of Singer.
Experiencia fantástica: Not huge but very interesting and staff very helpful.
Experiencia positiva: Appears to me like they're being set up for closure.. Staff are lovely and friendly but there seems to be an undercurrent of unhappiness throughout. What have you done West Dumbartonshire Council to result is such a dramatic change since I last visited???
Experiencia negativa: Great place for history and art. Nice cafe. Friendly and attentive staff. Exhibitions throughout the year are varied in the museum space. The Garden Gallery provides a beautiful space for artists such as Jolomo to exhibit works. EDIT Council have ripped the heart out of the museum and got rid of all the staff. Nothing here of note anymore. Used to be great
