Expérience fantastique: I think the best museum in linz, It deserves to be seen. But as all Austrian places, there is no English. All explanation, videos all are in German. Pardon you can see everywhere one couple of English: #Don't touch# :)

The museum has a section devoted to technology, as well as to nature, and a decent exhibition on late medieval art from the upper Danube region as well. It is not the largest museum in these lands, but worth seeing if you like museums.

Expérience fantastique: A interesting place to visit. As of 6-26-21, a few parts of the museum were not open, apparently due to covid19. But about 1/2 is open. There are some English captions, but a small percentage of the displays have this. An interesting section on early electricity studies of the 1700 to 1800s.

Expérience fantastique: A lot of interesting things are exposed here. Historical artefacts, paintings, modern art, etc. To me it is the first place to visit in Linz. Museum is huge so you need to find 2-4 hours in your schedule to enjoy everything it has. For me it was absolutely worth time and money to visit.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent collection of artifacts, art and cultural items. The mediaeval collection is outstanding. There is a collection of arms as well as a numismatic collection. This is a wonderful museum and would be world class if it had English descriptions.

Expérience fantastique: Nice place to see around the small town. The uphill passage to the castle is very cozy and calm. The restaurant near here, Schlosscafé, has good grilled menus and environment with reasonable price.
