Expérience fantastique: Pleasant staff and an interesting visit of the museum. I suggest you take your time to visit it as 1h15 for me was a bit short (arrived at 16:45, the closing time is at 18h). A lot of interesting facts about beer and a beer tasting at the end was a cherry on top! The price is 12€ per person for a simple visit and 18€ per person for a visit+beer tasting (a large choice of 3 beers each ~200ml).

Expérience fantastique: This place is just wow! The beer! Even more the staff! I was able to take the dog and and all the customers loved her! She will 1000% me back! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The most amazing but also best priced beer! Have drank this beer for years so it's was amazing to finally get there!

Expérience fantastique: Very educational and enjoyable! Loved the interactive method of experiencing the museum. The tasting at the end is a great way to get to try a variety of Belgian brews and find your favorites! The bottles with custom labels available from the picture taken during the museum tour were very cool and made for great souvenirs!

Expérience fantastique: Fun museum to understand the process of creating interesting beers. You need to use an iPad to scan objects in the museum and sometimes it feels a fit tricky to get it to scan, but it's still quite interesting what you learn. There are areas where you can check the smells of various spices that can be added to beers. Pretty interesting. The beer tasting experience after the museum part was great. Really tasty beers, and lots of different options to choose from. We actually spent more time at the beer tasting than in the museum.

Expérience fantastique: Loved this, pretty basic type of museum, however, the interactive guides are great. Recommend getting the package that includes drinks at the end - not so much because the beers are amazing (they’re solid), but to talk to the bartenders. The one I spoke to (I apologize for forgetting his name) but was originally from Brazil and moved here when he was young. He gave me great insights into their beer selection, history and culture of Belgium, and recommended spots in Bruges to go see/drink at. Interacting with the bar tender was like an added experience in of itself. Overall 9/10

Expérience fantastique: Museum part explains the brewing process, and the bar offers a great way of trying some excellent local belgian beers. There are snacks on offer too, it's a great way to while away an hour or so. The building itself has some interesting architecture too. Well worth the time to visit.

Expérience fantastique: Great atmosphere in the center of Brugge. Many different kind of beers in very good prices. There are also a few things to eat with your beer (maybe a few more would be awesome).

Expérience fantastique: Great place to taste multiple beers (4 beers in taster format for 10 €), take some photos and some rest. It is also very centric so you do not need to deviate. If you are a beer lover you will not regret coming here. PS: The beer with most awards is mediocre so do not lose any sleep if you do not taste it. There are many other good beers though.

Expérience fantastique: Most of bruge's museum are paid, and quiet expensive even (at least 12 euros each). But by far I love this one the most. For 12 euro you can get a guided tour of how beer is made and the civilization history about beers. There's mini games and interactive quiz to keep you entertained. The guide tablet are available in 15ish language, so whichever language do you speak, chances are they have that. If you add another 6 euro (which I recommend), you can get 3 free local beers to sample. Do try the Rodenbachs, they're really tasty!! The staffs are really friendly and helpful, do not hesitate to ask for their help.

Expérience fantastique: The museum seems small but with the iPad and headphones, there is lots of information. The bar / beer tasting is good value when included with your ticket.

Expérience fantastique: Awesome beer museum! Great option for kids to hear a story on the iPads while you learn about beer.

Expérience fantastique: Very friendly amd helpfull staff. Very interesting place for all beer lovers who would like to know more about history of brewery and all other beer-making details. There is also paralel tour for kids, so while you are enjoying your tour about beers, your kids can search for various pictures around museum and hear another story on their I-pads. Definitely kids friendly. There is also beer tasting experience so you can enjoy beers and have some snacks. Definitely good option if you didn't came with full stomach and still want to try some beers.

Expérience fantastique: One of the best attractions in Bruges. This is a museum explaining how beer is produced and its history in Belgium. At the beginning of the tour, you are handed a tablet and a headset that allows you to scan on objects and hear explanations at the language of your choice. You have the option to buy a ticket with 3 beers that are served at the bar at the end of the tour for the price of 18 euros. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: Great beer prices and plenty to try. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend a stop here if you enjoy a good beer, or 4.

Expérience fantastique: Stopped for a quick drink just before closing. Bartender was great, recommended some beers for tasting and made sure we didn't waste our money on too much beer for the 10 minutes remaining!! Pate was amazing

Ricardo Aguilar (La Zorra Alfa) 1 year ago

Expérience fantastique: It's a great place to visit, the museum itself is no extraordinary if you already know about beer. The bar is great, I would recommend go directly to the bar and try as much beers as you can, all of them are great. Big cheers for the staff, they are kind and very friendly and also they speak many languages. Prost!

Expérience fantastique: There's no waiting line most of the time, even on weekends! Really cool self paced experience which teaches you about how beer is being produced and even lets you try the smells of the different ingredients. The woman at the ticket booth was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: The place is amazing. You can learn everything about beer making in details, feel, smell and see… beer tasting was amazing too! Never had so tasty beer ever. Wish to visit Belgium any time soon again

Expérience fantastique: It was a great museum. There so much things to know about the beer. I didn't know for example that the beer like the wine have some food accordingly to the kind of beer to eat, and there are so much things that you should go. Very great museum.

Melanie Radcliffe 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: There was no wait for entrance or tickets. I visited on a Sunday early afternoon. The whole experience is very isolated, which I liked a lot :) it's also self paced. Which allows you to determine how quickly you want to get through it. There are a lot of interesting bits and pieces, and it's set up rather nicely. The beer I had was extra tasty. I had a good time, spent about 2hrs to get through the tour and the beers after. ????

Expérience fantastique: The museum is really worth visiting. They will teach you a bit about the way beer is make and also about the history of this lovely beverage. The exhibitions are quite diverse and they do not focus on passive means of giving you information. You can actually smell and touch some of the ingredients used in brewing process. On top of that museum offers games that neatly explain the process of making beer. The last part consist of tasting quite a few different beers which I enjoyed immensely.

Expérience fantastique: Being a beer lover, I alongwith my husband enjoyed knowing the history of beer and how it's made with detailed explanation of how it is brewed in different ways and flavours. It was informative plus if you buy the tickets with beer tasting , you could also taste various beers as per your choice. We had our 10 year old daughter also with is us hence we bought the family ticket which was economical (see rate in the pic) The lady at the counter was friendly. They give you headphones and tab that you would scan to get more information. You can carry a chargeable sovenior by getting a picture clicked which can be printed on a beer bottle.

Expérience fantastique: This is a review for the bar as I didn't visit the museum. The gentleman serving me was friendly and attentive with a superb knowledge on all the different beers. €10 for 5 beers from a choice of about 18. Try a varied selection and you may find a new favourite. I thought I didn't like sour beer, until I tried the Rodenbach Grand Cru! Thanks for the recommendation. Good views over the square too...

Expérience fantastique: Nice place to park for a minute and try local beers. 5 small pours for 10 euro at the time of this writing. This might seem like a tourist trip but it’s not. Free WiFi with a nice place to relax while planning next move in Bruges. Super knowledgeable and nice staff.

Expérience fantastique: I learned a good deal of new info about beer here. Nice place if you like beer and want to know more about it. Tasting session in the end is also nice.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing museum for beer lovers. The best thing was the last part of the tour, when you go to the bar to try 3 different beers you choose!

Mike Fischersworring 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Excellent small tour using iPads in your language. A small quiz and a lot of knowledge about beer. Don't go too fast though the rooms, look for the hidden Infos and quizzes. The beer tasting in the end was lovely and u should invest the additional 6€.

Oli K. 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Not necessarily must-see if you’re not into museums. But very well-done museum. First floor tells about how beer is made, second is about history. I personally like a TV screen where you can see the beer ads from all over the world, that was fun! There is also a beer tasting, but we skipped it, seemed we can get more beer for less money in every bar around

Leonardo R 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Really interesting museum. The history of the beer wasn't something unknown for me but here was told in a different way that made it worthy and interesting, you could touch or interact with many items. After the tour, which ends in the bar, you can try many different beers. Highly advisable.

Expérience fantastique: A must try when in Bruges! dozens of typically Belgian beer to try and experience, the view of the main square can keep you intrigued for hours and the souvenir shop is pretty cool too!

Expérience fantastique: I like it! Very nice and friendly atmosphere and staff. Museum, bar and shop - all in one place. I enjoyed. Very good choices of beers.

Expérience fantastique: A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Very informative museum that offers insightful information regarding the history of beer brewing in Bruges and the methods used to produce such beautiful beers. Great contemporary technology used to inform you of the history and to entertain and quiz your knowledge. A vast museum that clearly demonstrates its investment into providing extensive knowledge of beer brewing to the public. Loved every moment of the tour. The beer tasting at the end of the tour (at an extra £5) comes with a great array of three beers to choose from carefully selected by the help of the staff. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would happily return to a for more beer tasting.

Expérience fantastique: Really glad for this beautiful experience in a beer museum, they'll explain you how beers are made and his story, for every kind of beer. They have also some sale for beer taste! 5 beer 10€, I think that is so cool.

Tres Williams 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Nice museum with very nice tasting bar at the end. Takes about 30 minutes to do the museum, after which you can enjoy tastes purchased with the tour or separately. If you are like most people in Bruges and are a tourist, and you like beer, this is a great way to spend a couple hours.

Jamie Palliser 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Excellent experience, I've been to similar museums before and it can be a lot of reading and gets tedious, however the addition of the audio guide using tablets to scan items on the wall made it much more immersive and enjoyable. Lots of interesting displays and information, well layed out too. The bar was good too - particularly liked the menus printed on large bottles! The entry ticket gets you 3x150ml beers from the large draught selection (15€ each or 9€ without the beer). Lots of other bottled beers available, and you can buy the 5 beers for 10€ as well as snacks. Staff very friendly and helpful as well. Spent quite a while here so need to set aside plenty of time so you don't end up rushing.

Expérience fantastique: OMG where do I begin? First off, did not do tour due to time restrictions, however, did the beer tasting experience and hung out in the restaurant a little while & spent lots of time by the stairs!! Go here... there are literally thousands of beer signs!! So fascinating!!! Gift shop just excellent as well.. Beer was very good & staff were friendly & efficient. Restaurant & washroom very clean as well! When in Bruges... go here! Don’t miss out...

Expérience fantastique: Excelent museum where you can learn about the history of the beer and also the process of making it! Great beer to drink there but you can find all of the beer there are on sale there in the carrefour that´s nearby! hahah and for half of the price! Still to have one there is worth!

Expérience fantastique: Such an amazing place, friendly staff and amazing beer with a wide variety to choose from with a translation for many European languages. The museum part is very insightful and has a cool beer bottle wall. Would definitely go back.

Ruta Dovydaityte 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Very interesting experience. The tablet guide could be improved as we were’t sure what exactly to scan and we could see others scanning things and not coming up with anything. I highly recommend to get ticket with beer tasting - you will try different types of beer.

Jim J 6 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Visited during free time as member of a tour group out of Amsterdam. Having worked in the beer business for 30 plus years I found the museum very interesting to see. It's not part of a brewery, micro brewery or brewing operation so the displays were all static; nevertheless, I found it very informative and educational. It is a self guided tour using a mini iPad tablet so you can go at your own pace. I particularly enjoyed the information specific to Belgian beer styles and production processes. Sample tasting at the end was also very much enjoyed with some wonderful beers available (You get 3 free sample as part of your tour). In summary, I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone and would (and will) certainly do it again myself, taking more time to enjoy it. Excellent!!!!!
