🗣️ Museu WNDR: Opiniões
Experiência fantástica: This was a fun place to visit! Fun for kids or adults. And a cool place to take pictures.
Experiência fantástica: I really enjoyed this experience! The staff was friendly, and it was so great immersing myself in this experience. I got to go to an art exhibit for a discounted price and I loved it. I went at night. There’s so much to do that if you’re not keeping your eyes open, you may miss something
Hi Evette, Thank you so much for the kind words! We're glad to hear that you took it slow and really absorbed all the WNDR. We hope to see you again sometime!Best, Zach, General Manager
Experiência negativa: Some of the rooms are cool but for the spend, should have been half the price. They even told you go slow because they know you can power through it in 30 minutes or less.
Hi Gia, I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't find your time with us at WNDR to be worth the money. We're always striving to offer the best immersive art experience possible to our guests, but I hear you in that you don't feel that's what you received. We'd love to find a way to make it up to you, if you're interested. If so, please reach out to us at [email protected] and reference this review, and I'll be in touch as soon as possible. Best, Zach, General Manager
Experiência negativa: I wanted my nephews visiting from Europe to experience it and paid $97 because of fees and taxes! I live in 60612 nearby and never went there. This place is just overpriced for less than 35 minutes visit according to them. I'll pass. There are better attractions in Chicago with city pass.
Experiência fantástica: Very abstract art museum! Lots of modern artists and their exhibits are diverse and saturated with color. I went with a group and spent every minute possible in each exhibit, worth every second! • Make every minute count and observe all the various art pieces. • Most exhibits were interactive, so let your creative-side shine!
Experiência fantástica: Enjoyed abunch. Good indoor museum. The lights were mesmerising. Amazing experience!
Experiência fantástica: During a recent trip to Chicago, I was hunting for a unique outing for my family—my wife and our three kids. We stumbled upon the WNDR Museum, a place we knew nothing about, so our expectations were pretty open. The admission was $160 for all five of us, so I was hopeful it would be worth the expense. Right from the start, we were immersed in an experience where multiple industrial-looking images of me were projected on a large wall, changing rapidly as I moved. It had a distinct Orwellian 1984 vibe. Moving forward, I noticed the museum had plenty of Instagram-worthy artistic areas with creative uses of lights and sound. It’s worth noting that the place is quite dark, and you can only move in one direction, so fully enjoy each section before proceeding. Several highlights come to mind. There was an art installation by Yayoi Kusama, an artist I wasn’t familiar with, though my wife was. She enjoyed that part, which featured mirrors, quirky octopus-like shapes with polka dots, and strikingly vibrant colors. This section is time-limited, so quickly soak it all in. Another favorite was a dark room with a button panel playing music loops. I spent quite a bit of time there, creating a song that I found surprisingly good. The immersive nature of this exhibit sparked a sense of creativity in me. One of the final experiences was trying a freeze-dried fruit cube that allowed my kids to drink lemon juice concentrate without wincing. I skipped this, but my family reported that it made the lemon juice taste quite pleasant. Our adventure concluded in the gift shop, which is typical for these places. The staff were friendly and had a fun vibe, and the items for sale were whimsical and well-curated. I picked up a new favorite water bottle and a stylish baseball cap. While buying drinks for the kids and myself, I discovered a variety of unique brands. Be cautious, though, as several cans contained CBD. Thankfully, the staff pointed this out and helped me select something more appropriate—though the museum experience already left me feeling euphoric. Overall, I highly recommend the WNDR Museum if you’re looking for an unusual family activity—especially if you have hard-to-please teens. If you can reasonably afford the entry fee and have an art appreciation, it’s a fun and engaging outing. It’s not a long experience but certainly memorable and enjoyable. Tips: * Buy tickets online * Take time to enjoy each experience, don't rush * Take pictures

If you'd like, please reach out to us at [email protected] and reference this review, and I'll be in touch. Cheers!Zach, General Manager
Experiência negativa: I feel a little disappointed because tik tok made this seem greater than it is, the tickets were like about $90 or so for me and my husband which honestly is kind of expensive for something like this on a Monday. I went having high expectations and it didn’t really seem all that great. There was very little to look at I mean there were some cool immersive things to do and see, but I think I would’ve rather spent my money at the color factory or the ice cream museum or something like that. Overall it’s a cool exhibit to take your children but I would rather spend my money elsewhere
Hi Sydney, Thank you for taking the time to visit us, and I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our space as much as you expected to. If you'd be interested in returning, I'd love to offer you and your husband the opportunity to come back at no cost and enjoy a personally guided tour through our space. It's our goal to make sure each and every person who visits us gets their money's worth, so please reach out if you'd be willing to give us another shot or if there's something else we can do to help-- our email is [email protected]. Experiência fantástica: Great place for the family. My daughter had a blast seeing all the exhibitions and was entertained by the interactive rooms. Definitely recommended for either family time or taking someone on a date.
Experiência positiva: While super neat and interactive (room with midi pad buttons was by far my favorite), I still feel the price is way above what it should, especially when the taxes and fees make the tickets nearly $50 each. Since it's meant to be forward only, it's hard to wander and revisit rooms. I understand it's meant to keep from bottlenecking groups, but it also makes one feel a bit rushed even though it wasn't especially crowded when I went.
Experiência fantástica: Great experience. Take your time in each showing bc you can’t return .
Experiência positiva: I love supporting local Museum etc but felt that the price of ticket did not reflect the content of the museum. That being said on a light day it will take u a solid 90 mins to walk and enjoy the features.
Experiência fantástica: an experience you should do once or twice. . Definitely take your time and go through everything that you want to go. There wasn't that much to see but what was there to see was really cool
Experiência fantástica: Incredibly beautiful, fun, and trippy displays!
Experiência fantástica: Cool experience! And the manager was super nice about everything. It has lots of places to take pics and to touch and have a great afternoon
Experiência fantástica: This is my first time visiting Chicago and the WNDR Museum. The exhibit exceeded my expectations! My cousin and I had a lot do fun. We are both big fans of immersive museum experiences!
Experiência fantástica: Definitely a unique experience! Had a fun time!
Experiência negativa: Save your money. Extremely overpriced for 15 minutes of exhibits. Maybe 2 of them were cool, but mostly just an Instagram spot. The main exhibit was talked up as being intense before going in, and we almost burst out laughing just standing in the room by how lackluster it was. Biggest waste of $45 per ticket
Experiência positiva: Don’t regret buying tickets but expected more for what you have to pay. It took us a little bit under an hour to go through the entire museum. However, there were some pretty cool exhibits and it was a fun experience nonetheless. The part that disappointed me the most was #ShoppingWhileBlack. There was a lady watching and following me in the gift shop to see what I had in my hand that I intended to purchase. I put it back because I do not patronize businesses that treat their customers like criminals. I want to rate WNDR 1 star because the horrible gift shop encounter, but will base it off the rest of the experience and OTHER wonderful staff members I met that were super friendly.
Experiência fantástica: Loved this museum. To be honest it’s overpriced but it’s so much fun! I spent there one good hour, maybe more, bought some stuff from the gift shop and got to talk with the cutest employee there. So bad I can’t remember her name. I definitely recommend it, especially if you like fun interactive art!
Experiência positiva: Cool place. Recommend. What I don't recommend is getting the gacha toys. I needed 4 tokens to get the gecko toy I wanted, it say each token was $2. A bit pricey but i was okay with it ($8) I selected 4 tokens and it spit out 4 tokens. Suddenly my card however was charged $20. This was not cool, I also confirmed this was the token dispenser charging me.
Experiência positiva: Yea i was there and its nice but a little short for 2 persons i pay $91 and valet parking was $15 and you need buy tickets online and made a reservation if you dont wanna loose time
Experiência fantástica: My cousin and I had a fantastic time at the WNDR Museum. So many photo opportunities and to top it off, when we finished, there was this FIRE ice cream spot with customized toppings. The staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful with recommending flavors. Will definitely come again!
Experiência fantástica: The wndr museum is my favorite! There was barely anyone here when I went, so I really got to take it all in this time. I got the surprise of a lifetime when I got to see Yayoi Kusamas "love is calling". It absolutely MADE my birthday to see my favorite artists work again. I did the miracle berry experiment and that was pretty cool. At the end, I got a Yayoi magnet, a reusable bag, and I was given a free cup!
Experiência positiva: It has a lot of interesting stuff. We enjoyed it and took advantage of taking a lot of pictures.
Experiência fantástica: Visited here a few months back and was not disappointed. Lots of a really cool visuals and would definitely check it out again.
Experiência negativa: Not busy at all on a Tuesday afternoon but very underwhelming for the price. We accidentally paid for the special "WNDR plus" which is like DOUBLE the price for only 10% off your purchase at the gift shop and 2 free pictures in the photo booth. The big main exhibit was cool but you could only be in there for 1 minute?! They try to make sure you've seen everything before you move on too fast because if you don't stop for 5+ minutes at each thing, you'll get through it in like 15 minutes...
Experiência fantástica: I had such a great time at the WNDR museum! They are completely separate from the Wonderspaces organization. The staff was incredibly nice and helped my friend and I take pictures. It was a lot of fun and exploration! Tickets can be a little pricey, over $40-ish. It's totally worth the money as you get to experience 12+ exhibits, including interactive displays, written inputs, a tarot card reading, a custom fortune and poem, and a special display in collaboration with Yayoi Kusama (you get room access for about 1 min). There's also a place to order food and drinks close to the gift shop. Bathrooms are accessible and can be found close to the entrance. Just go during a time where there are less people and that will definitely make the experience better.
Experiência positiva: It was decent, not 97 dollars decent, but decent.
Experiência fantástica: Such a unique, cool experience! The art was interactive but also thought provoking. Looking forward to the full exhibit being open very soon!
Experiência negativa: Very lack luster exhibits, staff was very unenthusiastic about being there and the advertising showed 2 rooms that weren’t in the exhibit. The fact that 3-4 of the exhibits were just Xbox360 Kinect sensors is also very laughable.
Experiência negativa: No many things to show and some of them still under construction, but they charge full price for it with 38$ each person. I only spend 40 minutes included waiting time inside. It is the most terrible experience I ever had. I spend over 180$ for my whole family with 4 people, but I would never recommend any of my friends to visit here again.
Experiência positiva: It's certainly fun, has a lot of interesting experiences that you can't get anywhere else, but it's very short. A little pricy for the amount of time you'll spend in there. I would certainly go back if they expanded however.
Experiência negativa: Went today for the first time. It was ok. Not worth $100 at all for the "plus" added in admission. It was clean and colorful, but shouldn't be more than $25-$30. Not as big of a place and didn't have many interactive things.
Experiência fantástica: A wndrful, magical place filled with joy and laughter! They made accommodations to me being a tourist and having a bag. The manager is phenomenal and answers questions in a timely manner via email. The staff enjoys what they do and it shows through the interactions with the guests. 11/10 would do it again and again!
Experiência negativa: There was nothing egregious about the museum but for a $45 price point I definitely feel ripped off. The “museum” felt more like an Instagram experience - and a poorly made one at that. None of the rooms were novel or that interesting. One of “exhibits” was a wall where people could write notes and place them on a wall, another a board of rotate-able knobs where you can change the colors, and one of those rooms with an optical illusion to make it seem like one person is much smaller than another. Nothing negative to warrant a 1 star review but this was way too expensive for what it was and I would not recommend it for adults. Maybe young families would have a better time.
Experiência negativa: wasted $90 for two tickets just to finish within 20 minutes. There was only about 6 actually interactive rooms and the rest were cheap decorations and projections. Unless you’re willing to pay a lot for a decent photo shoot place, then give it a go. There was also bored employees all over the place. Just insanely overpriced for the quality and time.
Experiência negativa: This place is an “art” scam!! 90 bucks for two people, went through it in exactly 12 minutes and were in shock when we realized it was over. There were maybe 2 decent places to take photos but even that isn’t worth 90. This whole museum should be $5 a person. One staff worker rudely scolded someone for touching the “art” piece in front of everyone, but you can hardly call anything in there valuable, just lazy art pieces. Plus yelling just ruins the vibe altogether. I wanted to ask for a refund so bad, but I wasn’t sure how that would work if we went through the whole exhibit. Save yourself some money and avoid this place!
Experiência positiva: There is so much to stare at and WNDR about! Lots of Instagram worthy photo ops and tons of fun and trippy visuals for everyone to marvel at. A little pricey!
Experiência negativa: I'm not sure if this place is brand new or if they just aren't planning to put more into it, but don't let the advertisement fool you. It'll definitely bring more excitement to a little child than an adult. It's like an old store front that they put temporary walls up to mask. It's intended to be "interactive," but honestly, it's not much to do, but photo ops. The place is definitely not worth $45/ticket...maybe $15.
Experiência fantástica: Pretty dope place! Didn’t get many pics but you catch the drift! The phone booth was my fav as you can see (2023)
Experiência fantástica: This was a wonderful experience for the entire family! It was great that they encouraged us to take our time and appreciate each installation. It was quite immersive and entertaining!
Thank you so much, Kevin! We're so glad you enjoyed your WNDR experience with the family!
Experiência positiva: This takes about 75 minutes to get through. It is ok... Not amazing. The best exhibit is under construction. This isn't communicated when you buy the tickets at full price. I would come again if I had a coupon or some other discount.
Experiência positiva: super awesome! me and my friend went right at 12 and it was nice and empty!! It was a really cool experience and I loved the interactive installations, I just wish there was more. We spent a few minutes at each exhibit but when we got to the end we were like dang already?? We probably spent 45 minutes in the whole place. I also ordered a spicy margarita bc I love them but this one was so small for $14 (you get a koozie) and it tasted crazy, like they want you to taste the consequences of each penny you spent.
Experiência negativa: there were some very cool exhibits, but overall it was less interactive and smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price
Experiência negativa: Very very very mid. They had a cool few things but got bored in each room after 5 mins so it was short. That polkadot room was a snooze fest and way overhyped. Don’t get me started on the price. Basically $100 for two people. Looking back on this trip all I think about is how I wasted my money on this 20 minute overhyped museum. Here’s a tip: take your $100 and go to The Color Factory.
Experiência negativa: I went to this museum October 2022 and it was amazing. This time I was highly disappointed at the fact that they had broken exhibits (light floor), missing exhibits from the last time we went and the new exhibits were just lazy and uneventful. I felt like it was a waste of money this time considering it was missing many of the previous exhibits. We walked through quite quickly as well which was disappointing as you expect to take time to do these activities you pay for.
Experiência negativa: Overpriced!!!! This was NOT worth the money we spent. It took us 30 minutes to travel through the museum and once you move to the next room, you can’t go back. We didn’t know what to do with a lot of the exhibits so it felt like we were just looking at a lot of abstract art with no explanations. The promo video shows ALL the exhibits. There’s nothing more than what is shown. Definitely not worth it.
Experiência fantástica: Very cool and interactive museum! Would recommend visiting with friends or family!
Experiência fantástica: I was amazed by this museum and they have a great artwork. It was really great to see so much creative art around :)
Experiência negativa: This place looks better online.. for the price.. they sound do better with more interactive exhibits.. we live in a world of sensory... this could be great, but it's mediocre unfortunately
Experiência fantástica: This was such a fun place to visit, adult and children alike! Each exhibit offered a guide on how to use it, most making your smartphone come in handy. I enjoyed this museum and I would visit again.
Experiência negativa: Crowded, not immersive, and too full of selfie opportunities that prevent other guests from moving to the next room. Some of the technology is intriguing, but not enough to spend much time at each one (and definitely not enough to spend $38 per person for the experience). If you want an Instagrammable experience, try the Color Factory.
Experiência negativa: I have never written a review of anything before. We went to the WNDR museum pre covid and it was fun and worth the ticket price. We returned yesterday to a downsized, downscaled version of the experience. Way over priced and took less than 30 min. Save your money and walk around West Loop!
Thanks for coming back to WNDR! We hope your return once more in the future as we continue to build on our current offerings. -
Experiência fantástica: The place was a lot of fun and a nice immersive experience while in Chicago. Apparently there are a few throughout the country and I liked it so much I’m going to go see the others. The art piece exhibit was a nice one from Yayoi Kusama and it was interesting to learn her background and love for art. Lots of photo taking and then lots of reflection.
Experiência negativa: This is a total bust. I highly suggest finding other attractions to visit in Chicago. It took less than an hour to walk through, the exhibits are identical throughout with little ingenuity, and the adult beverages are toddler sized. Despite no wait, it’s not a place I would recommend or repeat visit.
Sorry this was a total bust for you, Garred. We appreciate this feedback as we constantly strive to improve the experience. -
Experiência negativa: It's set up to take cool pictures to post on social media. The actual in the moment experience is... not good. Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to have fun
Experiência negativa: Definitely not worth paying $45 for, total ripoff. Some interesting lights, and vaguely interesting effects, but its comparable to the wonka experience in glasgow with how much of a rip off it feels like. Museum is small and generally unimpressive, and the tickets are some of the most expensive in the city. Would not recommend.
Experiência negativa: Way over priced for the experience. There are maybe couple of things that are cool. We took our time with the kids and were still done in 40 mins. Maybe worth it for 25 bucks but definitely not $45.
Thanks for your thoughts, Mihir! Very helpful as we keep evolving our experience. -
Experiência positiva: Nearly 50$pp after fees which feels a steep. But we still had a fun time.
Glad to hear you had a fun time, Steven! -
Experiência fantástica: Very cool experience. a bit pricey but its a beautiful place!
Awww! Thanks for calling us beautiful! Much appreciated, Ali! -
Experiência fantástica: This was a very cool experience enjoyed all the exhibits and interactive art. Being able to sneak away and grab a drink and play some games was pretty cool too. The whole exhibit was very enjoyable.
Experiência fantástica: We had a lot of fun here. Each space provided a different vibe and way to interact. Great way to spend an hour or two on a rainy or cold day.
Experiência fantástica: This place was SO MUCH FUN!!! Loved every second I was there, the exhibits are creative and interactive which makes the experience so entertaining. They had alcoholic beverage up on time and they were super delicious as well! Overall an amazing time, highly recommend!
Experiência negativa: Don’t waste your money. The exhibits are very lazily made. Not much thought or anything that went into putting this immersive experience together. There was only 3-4 cool exhibits out of the 10-12 different experiences. All the exhibits were a hit or miss. There was about 5-6 that were exactly the same and 2-3 that made no sense whatsoever. Also, the other con is I was suppose to receive a pin as well as photo and I did not receive neither. If you’re extremely bored and need to do something, you can check it out but I do not recommend it.
Experiência fantástica: Love this place! I'm a photographer in the city and I love it when couples want me to take pictures of them at this wonderful experience. I've only been here a couple of times and one time I forgot my camera batteries in my car. The receptionist was super kind to let me go get it and come back in. Everyone else was super helpful and it's a whole experience for sure!
Experiência positiva: The whole experience was wonderful and unique!! The only thing that damper the experience in my opinion was the all gender bathroom without an attendant present I cannot go next to a stranger, even worse if its the apposite sex.
Love to hear you had a WNDRful experience, Gabriela! -
Experiência positiva: Really fun to visit, I wish they would time it out better for people. Felt rushed and end up completing it quickly. Maybe price it little low, it's little pricey for the amount of time and quantity of the exhibition.
Experiência negativa: Not all that impressed. If you've looked at the pictures, you've seen everything. I also don't think it's run very well. What's the point of reserving a time if the whole "museum" is just standing in line waiting? Including all the waiting, it took maybe an hour to go through. So, all in all, you can see about 20 minutes of cool stuff. Mostly you're waiting for people to take Instagram pictures. There are some cool things, but for the price, I expected way more.
Experiência negativa: This is an "Instagram" museum with lines like a theme park. Made a reservation well in advance just for the place to be absolutely packed anyway. Taking pictures seemed to be the overall agenda rather than having a sensory experience or appreciating unique art. We waited about 20 minutes to see each of the exhibits. If you look at the google images for this place, you've seen everything it has to offer. We were really bummed and felt for 45$ a person it would just be a lot .......more. You could probably walk through in 25 minutes without all the lines. Not worth the $$$.
Experiência negativa: Grossly overpriced, terrible service from staff, more of a social media photo gimmick than anything. There’s hardly an actual artistry used in these exhibits and I would not call it kid friendly at all. Left very little to “wonder” about. Would not return and would not recommend. Also, we paid $132 for three people and got the through this banal “museum” in 20 minutes. Save your money and go some place else.
Experiência positiva: I've always wanted to do an interactive museum so I was super excited to try this out for $32 It seems like there should have been more. The polka dot exhibit at the very end as the final exhibit was super disappointing compared to a lot of other exhibits in the museum. I hope they find a way to add more exhibits or lower the price.
Experiência positiva: This place was interesting. I just wish it had more exhibits.
Experiência negativa: the exhibits are okay. just not worth the money. to call it a museum is also kind of misleading. only two exhibits had explanations of the artists. the AI room was not impressive. it would have been impressive if the artist painted every frame. the DJ loop exhibit towards the end was very fun though. the staff was also very friendly
Experiência negativa: I was so excited to get here based on their Instagram and the reviews but it was honestly disappointing. The almost $100 regular admission for 2 adults was NOT worth it. If they weren’t sold out, I feel we would have blown through it in 15 minutes. There are a few cool exhibits but otherwise everything is you dancing or moving in front of a camera and hoping it reflects on the screen in front of you. Super glad I didn’t spend hundreds and take my 4 kids with.
Experiência positiva: While the exhibits are unique and interactive, the museum is relatively small and definitely overpriced. We spent a decent amount of time at each attraction and in total spent about 45 minutes at the museum, including waiting to get in and waiting for groups ahead of us to move through. For $40 per person, I was definitely expecting more.
Experiência fantástica: Great evening out for some fun, special even where they had a live DJ, food, and drinks at their bar. Similar to the cor factory if you've been there!
Experiência positiva: It was a cool vibe. Idk if it’s worth the price though
Experiência positiva: This was sensory over load. I had to move slowly from one room to the next too adjust to the different sensory inputs. Which was fine for me but if you are someone who is more sensitive to intense lights, it maybe difficult to walk through. It was a really fun experience and I enjoyed the adventure. Just walk slow to allow yourself time to adapt to each vibe. Use superhero parking to save on parking! We went in the late morning on Saturday. We were able to enter right away. By the time we're came out there was a line waiting to get in.
Experiência negativa: Honestly, this was not worth the price of admission. Some of the concepts were cool, but for $32 per person I was hoping for a whole hell of a lot more. Most the art didn’t hold interest for more than a few seconds, they were just pretty lights - maybe they’d be entertaining if the viewer was stoned. There weren’t enough exhibits to justify the cost, either. Most of the second floor was empty. Lastly, the only employee who was actually friendly was the woman who scanned our entry tickets. I get that people don’t have to be thrilled about their jobs, but they could stand to at least be polite.
Experiência fantástica: Great interactive experience. Too short but I understand why. But awesome!
Experiência fantástica: I had a ball here. Dancing in the bathroom was the coolest part of the experience.
Experiência negativa: It was a bit of a disappointment. There were several good exhibits, but no really great ones. There was also less there than I expected. I don’t recommend it.
Experiência positiva: An interesting, and very unusual museum. Some thought provoking installations. Very interactive, bright and colourful. You will certainly leave feeling happy.
Experiência fantástica: I've been wanting to visit this museum for a decade! It's very much worth the Wait! Purchased the VIP Experience and got some goodies at the end in the gift shop! I enjoyed it so much that I went a second time and as expected, it's funner with friends and family!
Experiência positiva: It's a beautiful and immersive time. My mine issue is the price. It'd be 5 stars if it were cheaper or some kind of multi person discount. A bit steep for the size of the museum. You also only get a limited amount of time in the final room, very limited (unless this has changed).
Experiência fantástica: Fun, chill activity whether you're with friends/family or alone. There's photo rooms and audio art as well. A lot of the art is interactive. A bit pricey though. There's a bar and lounge and gift store at the end. The gift store was a little small, but the lounge was fun. There's giant Uno, Jenga, and Connect 4. Along with a small selection of drinks, alcoholic or nonalcoholic. Great way to kill time and relax.
Experiência negativa: It was cool to do once but I’d never do it again. Definitely overpriced and super short. While I do love that it’s self guided and that you can take your time, I almost wish the time slots were specific to each person that allowed you to walk through everything individually or solely with your group. I went by myself and I got a lot of cool photos/videos but the constant maneuvering between people was a bit exhausting. Also - I wish there were times that were for adults only, to avoid all the kids running around.
Experiência positiva: It was ok...took my granddaughter there to experience the art of others. Need more to look at for the price. But hey, gotta check things out to know.
Experiência fantástica: It was an interesting and fun experience. Take your time to interact while touring. Have fun .
Experiência fantástica: Went here with my daughter and she had an amazing time. She is 11 and a bonafide artist. After our visit she went and made some art pieces with dots similar to Yayoi Kusama's exhibit toward the end of the museum. There were many exhibits that were very intuitive and interactive, and even the ones that you couldn't touch were still thought provoking. I would definitely go again especially if there were different exhibits for the holidays. My daughter says her favorite exhibit was the Ames optical illusion which played a trick on your eyes making it seem like the person was bigger or smaller depending on their location in the room.
Experiência positiva: Amazing pictures. However quite expensive (45 USD for about 30-40 minutes of sightseeing). Not sure whether I recommend it or not.
Experiência positiva: It's pretty cool, has some fun areas I would say I enjoyed 50% of the museum, the rest was not amusing. If you like posting on social media this is a place for you, if not you might not enjoy your moneys worth.
Experiência fantástica: It was fun experience. Felt a little small for the price, but still enjoyed it. Kids enjoyed it as well. Added pics and videos of most fun rooms in my opinion.
Experiência fantástica: Wonderful experience! I went with a few friends, and we were debating between this and the dinosaur museum-- I'm delighted that we end up coming to WNDR. The workers were very patient and kind with explaining how some of the exhibits worked. Everything in here was meant to be followed in a sequential manner and I think that's what I love most about it. It wasn't chaotic as I prepared it would be, because we just had to follow wherever the arrow was guiding us to. I had a blast coming here for the holidays!
Experiência negativa: I celebrated my birthday here about 4 years ago. It was amazing at that time. So many rooms and so many things to see. They even had lockers to leave your things In. I decided to take my sisters for their birthday this year and I was so disappointed. I don’t know why so many things were taken out. The creative team sucks if they think that this museum is worth the money they are charging. I took my family and it was $300 for just 7 of us. I was okay paying that if it was anything like my experience 4 years ago. But this was horrible. The rooms were basic, they kept some of the same things as before and that’s the only thing that made the experience ok. I’m deeply disappointed in WNDR… I would not recommend this to anyone. It’s not worth your time or money. It gets worse, when I went online to get tickets for this it said they were doing a winter wonder theme till Jan 15. We decided to go Jan 14th so that we can experience that, I didn’t mind pay the extra $$$ since it’s a theme that was going to end soon. We all get there and there is no winter wonder them. There was absolutely nothing related to winter. They also have a bar and lounge and I didn’t see anyone up there. I think that space can be used way better than for a bar and lounge. I would also bring back the lockers, so many people had to keep placing their bags and jackets on the floor as they took pictures. I saw a lot of moms struggling to hold their things and their kids things because they had to carry everything. For how expensive it is to visit here… there should be so much more. This is truly ridiculous. Sad. I’m sure a lot of you can see some of the pictures that others are sharing here of how the museum looks now, while some rooms are still nice, let me share with you what WNDR used to be and how magical it was at one point. I would never go back there again.
Experiência positiva: We walked in not knowing what to expect except the photos from the website and our own imaginations. We paid for the VIP package which allowed us to skip the line, which wasn't long at all. Definitely didn't need to pay the extra 12 dollars per person. As for the museum and exhibits, it was a mixed bag. Some were super cool, exciting, and interactive. Others were....meh. Overall, a very different and WNDRful experience for our family!
Experiência negativa: Interesting place but my son wasn't feeling well and ended up getting sick in the exhibit. Beyond that though, generally too short of an experience and not worth the money.
Experiência fantástica: Great interactive museum. I wish there would have been a few more exhibits but it seemed like they were installing more. It was worth it to go with what they had though.
Experiência fantástica: Plan for about an hour to go thru everything. Depends on how long you decide to enjoy and linger. Definitely worth it for couples or families too. Well worth the trip! Pretty cool out of the norm exhibits that need yoir participation for the full effect.
