Experiência fantástica: A lot of variety in the exhibitions, with very different styles that most likely be liked by anyone that randomly walks in. The staff was very nice in my visit.
Experiência positiva: Smaller collection for such a renowned city, but it’s still a great museum with a good rotation of exhibitions
Experiência positiva: Every other Event I have been to, this is one of the 1st places that didn't allow Seafair (patron) access to their Museum!!! I've traveled all over the USA to different conferences where the Patron rents out a space for an event (not cheap) and like the Seattle Aquarium, give their patrons 1) Access to their venue 2) What a loss of an opportunity to show off their venue (lots of influential people who are in Multiple organizations - uh Money). 3) Too not open their doors until 6:30pm - with several well dressed guests standing outside a "not so safe downtown Seattle" - SMH. 4) I, for one would never suggest Seattle Art Museum to any of the corporate sponsors that I am interactive with. 5) ...and you wonder why you don't have the business you could have. 6) I hope this shakes you up! Best wishes...
Experiência fantástica: Combined a visit to the museum with a picnic in Volunteer Park - a very special outing. After coming home, we did an art project with quick drawing (just 5 minutes) of something we were inspired by. Everyone had a great time.
Experiência fantástica: I love the atmosphere--the emphasis on eastern religions, especially Buddhism, the meditation room, understandable explanations that are easy to read, the garden walk.
Experiência fantástica: We thoroughly enjoyed the latest exhibition: Poke in the Eye! So well-curated and such in-depth information. We are so glad to be longtime SAM members.
Experiência fantástica: Fantastic exhibits! Really loved Seattle Art Museum.
Experiência fantástica: We've loved seeing the Alex Calder exhibit! His moving mobiles and colorful sculptures are so much fun for all ages. You really should go see it!
Experiência positiva: Went here on 08/01/24 tickets are free on the first Thursday of the month so that was awesome! Meseum was pretty cool and awesome flicks/pictures opportunities. There was a group of students who seem like they were on a field trip, was abusing the scream room. They kept screaming running away then coming back to the room and screaming again. I guess staff didn’t catch on but it wasn’t no biggie for me
Experiência positiva: Had an enjoyable experience with family- the Calder exhibit was exceptional. I would suggest that more activities be available to engage children- my two granddaughters liked the museum, but would have had a better experience with more interactive opportunities. I am from Denver, and our Denver Art Museum has multiple opportunities for children.
Experiência positiva: Whether you’ll like SAM or not, really depends on what you like. I’m a fan of European and Italian art. I was excited to find some of the works of Rembrandt - woo!! Other than that, 75% of the museum was modern, abstract, and historical art (old Japanese and more), I might not even know all the details because I wasn’t very interested. So, fully depends on your preferences. I bought my tickets online in advance. Went on Saturday. There are many kiosks and in-person ticket purchase windows. So, if you cannot buy your ticket online, then don’t sweat it.
Experiência fantástica: Beautiful Calder exhibit. The Native American section is also very well curated. I highly recommend it.
Experiência fantástica: located in downtown Seattle, lucky to join the tour at 2pm ish, take about 1-2 hour to finish. A great place to go for a sunny weekend afternoon! you can walk to the Pier and enjoy the sea view at sunset time, so beautiful!
Experiência fantástica: Loved the SAM! The exhibition “Lessons from the Institute of Empathy” was super interesting and very innovative. All of the exhibits were beautiful, and the next time I am in Seattle, I will come again!
Experiência positiva: This was my first time at the Seattle Museum. I thoroughly enjoy art and enjoyed my visit here. I was especially surprised to see an original NC Wyeth painting. The only challenge I had was that they had loud chanting for one of the exhibits running through the entire Museum the whole time. Though I get what they were trying to do it was extremely distracting from enjoying all of the art
Experiência fantástica: I was here in February during the museum month. It wasn't too crowded. I really enjoyed the exhibits. There is a nice balance of historic, native, as well as modern artwork. A little bit of everything! Museum is not too big, but also not too small, it's easy to spend about 2 hours here.
Experiência fantástica: The Alexander Caulder exhibit is a must see
Experiência fantástica: We didn't go to the museam but we did go to the Mar Ket on the first floor for food and drinks. The Lobster Roll and soup were excellent. The bartender, Samantha was very attentive and professional. Her personality and her conversation was very fun and informative. We came off a cruise to Alaska and found this place and would return again on our next visit to Seattle.
Experiência positiva: I really enjoyed my time in the museum. Definitely recommend buying your tickets in advance if you know you're going to visit. You save a couple dollars booking 24 hours ahead of time.
Experiência fantástica: This is a unique art museum where you can see both Indigenous art (from Australian Aboriginals and Pacific Northwest Native Nations) and modern, contemporary West Coast art.
Experiência fantástica: I purchased a membership for the first time. It's a great deal. SAM's exhibits are thought provoking and curated beautifully. And they appear to make an authentic effort to be inclusive and diverse with their exhibits. Everyone should stop at SAM at least once a month. If you can't afford it, go on a free day! I'm not a super knowledgeable person when it comes to art, and I'm always surprised by how much I enjoy my visit.
Experiência fantástica: Loved the Alexander Calder exhibit! The “Poke in the eye” exhibit was also very thought-provoking.
Experiência fantástica: Fabulous smaller museum featuring Asian art, old and new. Parking in front is free if you can find a space. This is a real gem.
Experiência fantástica: I rate it with some of the best in the world. Not overstuffed, comfortable, and interesting exhibits. Artists are often on site. Easy access with parking nearby.
Experiência fantástica: Museums are always fun and this one didn't disappoint, Beautiful city wonder museum
Experiência fantástica: They offer free admission for US military during certain summer months.
Experiência fantástica: Wow... 3 hours later and still could go back... Very peace full experience all styles Now through Veteran's Day free to military...
Experiência fantástica: Fantastic Seattle location with outstanding collections - a must-see if you're visiting Seattle or a local resident like me. It pays to be a SAM member.
Experiência fantástica: I loved everything about the Seattle Asian Art Museum: where it is located, how petit it is; and most importantly the beauty inside the building and outside. The tribute to Asian history through the Buddha sculptures really touched me. Seeing and learning how Indian, Chinese, Tibetan and Cambodian history intertwines was awesome. Plus I liked the travelling very modern exhibit of the Muslim woman artist -- was really incredible the pictures and the story. Great visit!
Experiência fantástica: An excellent and eclectic collection. I was there 3 hours and really enjoyed it. Saturday was not crazy crowded.
Experiência positiva: Small museum with some special exhibit spaces and permanent installations. The Porcelain Room was the best of them, not sure it was worth the ticket price, better to check it out on a free day - they offer free admission for certain cardholders occasionally.
Experiência fantástica: Amazing experience, took 3 hours to read and look through the entire museum. You can check in your food/water instead of tossing it before entering. Definitely should take a look around the Italian and Roman art on the third floor.
Experiência fantástica: Don't skip SAAM even though it's not downtown! The museum is stellar, with an amazing layout, beautiful views of Volunteer Park, lots of parking, friendly staff, and engaging exhibits. It's also much less crowded than SAM. You won't be disappointed!
Experiência positiva: I was kind of disappointed with the Seattle Art Museum - compared to art museums in similarly sized cities, the SAM is kind of small. And this is subjective, but I also found some of their larger exhibits kind of uninteresting (modern, abstract, and a special "counterculture" exhibit). They did have some really excellent areas though - the African "Empathetics" room was awesome, with an empathy simulation thing that's hypnotizing. I also wish they had more oil portraits, particularly from impressionists (they did have one Sargent painting). Although again, that perhaps is just a matter of personal preference.
Experiência positiva: This was a great art museum to walk through while we were visiting from out of state. I loved that they had a lot of historical artifacts, both local to the area and some from a variety of different countries/cultures. However, I wish they had more landscape paintings and art that featured more of Seattle/Washington.
Experiência fantástica: Absolutely stunning curation of American art by Inye Wokoma. I was truly blown away by the depictions of American life. His descriptions of each piece are worth entry alone. Seriously amazing!
Experiência fantástica: Another lovely visit. This museum is the perfect size and always has interesting exhibits. And the surrounding park is beautiful
Experiência negativa: The museum is pretty small, and the entry fee is expensive, in my opinion. Exhibition is okay or so so. I was literally falling asleep on my feet while trying to look at the arts.
Experiência positiva: It was a fun experience. I liked some exhibits better than others, but there's something for everyone. I just wish the price was cheaper to make it more accessible.
Experiência fantástica: Nice place. You can leave your jacket in the lobby.
Experiência fantástica: Really stunning space. Visited years ago while they were showing a Wyeth retrospective and recall being really impressed with the museum's collection in general.
Experiência fantástica: I enjoy visiting the Seattle Asian Art Museum as it educates us about the sophistication of cultures dating back thousands of years. I was especially moved by the performance art pieces by Anida Yoeu Ali. As enlightened as I think I am, the evolution of her chabord pieces challenged my thoughts about Islamic women and opened my mind to the beauty of the intersection of cultural and religious practices. It asks the question why we are afraid of or hate people who are different from us.
Experiência negativa: Genuinely shocking how amateur the exhibition design is. No flow within the museum, rooms seem to just be randomly placed next to each other. Exhibition cabinets and rooms are sometimes poorly labelled, making it difficult to figure out which piece is which. I expected the premiere art museum in Seattle to do a better job at curation but I am sadly wrong.
Experiência fantástica: Great time at the museum! We picked up a scavenger hunt card from front desk and enjoyed looking for everything. The hunt took us all over the museum so we felt like we really saw everything. We got free entrance passes from our hotel.
Experiência fantástica: Beautiful setting. First time going. Spacious viewing areas. Very helpful front desk. Especially appreciated the lockers for stowing personal items…made the experience much more comfortable. Totally enjoyed our afternoon there.
Experiência fantástica: I’m always emotionally engaged when I visit SAM’s Asian museum; the art which embeds itself in my memory is sauced up with floor to ceiling encounters with the surrounding landscape. To glance from the pottery, the statuary or the installation at hand and see the veridian evergreens of trees -shrinks the ego and expands the heart.
Experiência fantástica: Great museum. Small but mighty. The changing exhibits are always interesting, the permanent collection has a good history of art (could be slightly better organized to tell the story of different cultures and movement more clearly.) has a great assortment of African figural work that really captures a broad selection of tribes and beliefs. Even the shop and the restaurant attached are nice. I love the current American exhibit (though sometimes wish there was a bit of soundproofing to the American anthem piece!) It a a great time, not exhausting, and I’m a member who enjoys it monthly or more. It’s restful and has nice resting seats for people with mobility issues
Experiência fantástica: Totally an awesome experience was hanging out with my brother who I had just met for the first time in our lives in the day before they welcomed to us and made us feel right at home in the museum very friendly staff
Experiência positiva: Good museum if you like history, but short compared to others only two levels of actual art
Experiência negativa: Unfortunately, it seems like a very, very weak collection for such a high entrance fee. Their pre-1900 European and American collections are basically non-existent—just a handful of seemingly random pieces without any thematic or historical thread. They have a lot more modern art, but I can't say anything stood out as especially skilled or thought-provoking. I chuckled when I saw their Rothko, because it's so bland and didn't seem to have any of the texture or subtlety that I thought Rothko's were supposed to be known for. I actually enjoyed and was more impressed by the "SAM Marketplace" paintings which were for sale downstairs by living artists more than any of the pieces in the official collection. I think the curators really should re-evaluate their collecting priorities--or think of some educational way to make their limited collection deliver more insights.
Experiência fantástica: A small jewel of the art world that celebrates the local indigenous people and later history of the city. You should make the time to visit this museum when you’re in Seattle.
Experiência fantástica: Don’t leave Seattle without checking out the Seattle Art Museum. It’s a MUST SEE. So glad we had some extra time and went after our cruise. Just their collection of works by Alexander Calder is worth the visit. Then add the art from all over the US and world as a huge bonus. Their collection of modern art , African art, Australian art it’s all phenomenal.
Experiência fantástica: Great museum. I went on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. Give yourself about 2 hours to walk through and see everything. I think you save money if you buy your tickets online instead of at the museum.
Experiência fantástica: Always such a great time visiting the SAM! The volunteers and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Both the Calder and American Stories exhibits are incredible! What a fantastic day at the museum!
Experiência fantástica: I would recommend budgeting 1 to 1.5 hours here for a comfortable visit. Exhibits include a good combination of international and local arts, spanning different eras and forms (paintings, sculpture, pottery, etc.). They provide a discount for tickets booked online 24+ hours in advance. Exhibitions were great. The museum also has good facilities and staff who ensure you get a pleasant visit.
Experiência fantástica: Are got a powerful state of freedom of expression. In the museum you'll meet exhibitions with demonstrate it along generations. Don't miss the changing/guest exhibition (change every 2-3 months)
Experiência fantástica: Lovely museum with some delightful surprises! I did not know they had a Georgia O' Keefe! Great native art section. They had a Calder Exhibit up when I visited which was great.
Experiência fantástica: Sylvia, the docent. Was amazing!!! We learned so much!!!
Experiência positiva: One of the many benefits of membership is my ability to drop in when I'm downtown for something else and spend an hour at the museum. I especially enjoy the 3rd floor Native American gallery. That said, I miss the often-displayed contemporary print makers from the local tribes. I would also be happy to see the wonderful bust of Gwendolyn Knight back in a place of honor in the Knight/Lawrence gallery. The current Calder show, up until August (hooray) is a treat.
Experiência fantástica: Really enjoyed our recent visit to the museum. The day-long Ragamala music programming was excellent! We came for the Classical Indian music, stayed for the exhibits. Hadn't been to the museum since the renovation - stunning.
Experiência fantástica: Recent SAM visit was to view Alexander Calder and Jaune Quick To See Smith exhibits with a friend who was my guest. All staff were friendly and helpful, admission process was streamlined, and exhibits were amazing. We spent an amazing afternoon absorbing beauty and creativity, thanks to this wonderful museum and these amazing collections.
Experiência fantástica: It is a great place to explore and enjoy great artwork of all kinds. Each exhibit told a fascinating story of its era, and the layout of the museum made it easy to wander about and get a chance to really view each one. Our visit to the museum wasn't planned but it made a nice visit and we will be back.
Experiência fantástica: Super interesting museum downtown Seattle. There are all different types of exhibits to spark everyone's interest of all ages.
Experiência fantástica: This museum is much bigger than I expected! I went on the free Thursday of the month so there were a lot of people, but not at all overwhelming. The exhibits were expansive and the gift shop has sooo much to choose from.
Experiência positiva: Loved the exhibits here. Was especially appreciative to see so much ndn art and the incredible display from Jaune Quick-to-See Smith. I did not however care for the employee up in that gallery who took it upon himself to single me out for a small sling bag while multiple other white women and men were walking around with large purses and backpacks pushed to their backs.
Experiência fantástica: It was absolutely amazing and stunning to see, absorb, and feel the deep connection to all of the art. I enjoyed the free Thursday. Thanks for the experience. Definitely visiting again. ❤️❤️❤️
Experiência fantástica: Such a wonderful museum. There is just something about the building itself that makes the experience feel magical. I saw the Anida Yoeu Ali exhibit, which was stunning. And when you’re done, make sure to wander around one of the best parks in Seattle.
Experiência positiva: The SAM has some nice exhibits and is the largest and most well known art museum in Seattle. But it is also quite expensive and the cost simply makes it inaccessible for many. For a family with two teens it’s about $120, which is just out of reach for many families. $33 per adult is a ridiculous amount for this. You can reserve tickets to Le Louvre in Paris for less money.
Experiência fantástica: A well balanced collection was a pleasant surprise. The Calder exhibit was beautiful. The Native American galleries were very informative, thoughtful and respectfully displayed. Overall very easy to navigate and appreciate each gallery at leisure without feeling overwhelmed.
Experiência fantástica: Staff are all lovely! The museum itself was fantastic. I visited for an art class to view Renaissance and Medieval art and was delighted at how much there was to view, along with some ancient Greek, Egyptian, and art from the late 1800s and early 1900s nearby, including a Matisse. I also really enjoyed the Italian Room. Overall, a really fun visit!
Experiência fantástica: Very much enjoyed our weekend visit to the Seattle Asian Art Museum. We liked that it's a smaller branch, so easy to find friends and not lose wandering kids. But the exhibitions are still thought-provoking and delightful! Really appreciated the kids' art activity space downstairs as well as lockers to store our gear. Kids and adults all had a lovely time.
Experiência fantástica: If you ever come to Seattle, gift yourself visiting this place, it’s amazing!
Experiência fantástica: If you want to know why the United States represents a huge diversity of people and places, come here to to enjoy different languages, traditions, and cultures displaying. The Seattle Art Museum invites you to take a self-portrait and add your story to this digital tapestry of American identity.
Experiência fantástica: Fantastic museum with a very good mix of traditional and modern art, tho the emphasis is on the latter rather than the former. Fantastic shop in the lower level. The museum is a bit on the large side, but not exhaustingly so.
Experiência fantástica: The experience was remarkable. I recommend taking advantage of the complimentary tour guides provided with your purchase. The artwork displayed in the image is one of the most impressive pieces of art I have ever encountered. This piece alone justifies the visit.
Experiência fantástica: We truly enjoyed the museum. We attended three docent tours, the docents were very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing their love of the art. The art work collections were nice and diverse. We spent five hours in the museum. Parking was convenient and reasonable located under the museum.
Experiência fantástica: Free visit at this Museum. Walking distance from waterfront and Pike Market.
Experiência fantástica: Recently visited this art museum and I have to say I didn’t have enough time to see everything but they had the most beautiful art history. I have to say I learned about Chief Seattle and I respect him and his land.
Experiência positiva: I was lucky to be in town during Musuem Week where the prices were with 50% discount. There were no lines even on Saturday. It's spacious Musuem with great collection from different cultures and continents like Greek, Italy, Africa, Asia, Europe. I recommend.
Experiência fantástica: We loved it and I will have to say it’s the best art gallery I’ve been to in WA so far! The ancient Asian art pieces were stunning. We hope to come back again soon!
Experiência fantástica: Loved this place! Right now a Calder exhibition at no extra cost. Tons of American aboriginal art, and a surprisingly good Australian Aboriginal two room exhibition that left a lasting impression on me. Friendly staff. Must visit.
Experiência positiva: Almost perfect. I booked ticket through King County Library System to visit here together with my family. There are a lot of art pieces to see. A very nice place to discover American culture and PNW history. On the second floor there is a place that encourages visitors to scream out (this is fun!), and I also enjoyed the edgy artworks on the third floor. Would love to visit again with friends new to town. I rate one star lower because I feel the staff who came to the family space on 2nd floor is not really family-friendly. We were working with the kiosk mode to have our portraits and words onto the screen projection - that is the point of this screen! We were typing to express when we feel American, and what is our American dream. Then a work staff came, standing there, even if he said nothing, as the only family in that space, I do feel the slient message that he wants us to leave ASAP. So we left with our children. We were not loud and we did not do anything disrespectful before he came. I do hope this place could be more friendly to family with young kids.
Experiência positiva: Multicultural museum. Extensive collection of Native American art. Beautiful!
Experiência positiva: The lunar new year activities for kids were good quality. The down side was the lion dance was sold out. They should consider having it outside where everyone outdoors see it or at least offering tickets to those that bought museum tickets ahead of time
Experiência positiva: The museum staff were incredible, all seemed knowledgeable and eager to help in any way they could. The museum itself is pretty nice and a great experience too. Unfortunately their bike parking situation is not good. There is one rack near the entrance which was completely full with a half dozen bikes attached. I parked on another track on the same block but around the corner where there's not really anything there but car parking and when we came out of the museum a couple of large men were huddled next to my bike trying to cut the cable off of my front wheel. They could really use some more racks in more convenient locations.
Experiência positiva: I was somewhat surprised by the small size of the miseum, but the pieces they have are skillfully curated and displayed. We visited twice, one time for the permanent exhibits, and again to see the Hokusai exhibit and the Calder exhibit. Both temporary exhibits were excellent, particularly the Hokusai - a great collection! I wish the restaurant on site was more vegetarian-friendly.
Experiência positiva: For $33 you get: -Many galleries full of beautiful and diverse art -On a busy day to wait in line for an HOUR to get into a special exhibit (no reservation system so you can actually enjoy the museum while waiting -Exhibits that are blocked by people waiting in line for other exhibits... (see photo) -No paper map handed to you at admission by default -No standard audio guide to the whole museum and scan audio guide material throughout -On a busy day, very crowded galleries -To wait in line for 10-15 minutes to get your tickets (why can't you just buy them online and get scanned in?!)
Experiência positiva: We attended the final weekend of the Hokusai exhibit at SAM. the exhibit was excellent with a strong showing of Hokusai original prints, drawings and paintings as well as work by his contemporaries and current artists responding to the Master's work. Unfortunately, the lines were very long (1-1/2 hour wait) and then the galleries where the exhibit was displayed were packed so it was hard to get up close and study the work; maybe for a few seconds. One advantage of the wait line to get into the Hokusai exhibit is that the staff snaked the line through the permanent art galleries giving us a taste of Dutch Mater paintings, the “dish room,” religious icons, Greek statuary and vases, Impressionist works and a fine collection of African ceremonial masks and figures! And it was great for people watching and making new friends. Seattleites are friendly people. Coming all the way from Whidbey Island made this a very long day with very little art viewing time. But, it was worth it. Will need to plan early and ahead of everyone.
Experiência fantástica: Located at the block of 1st and 2nd, Union and University. Enter through 1st @ Union str. Friendly staff and coat check in. Bank of America “museum on us” free admission during the first weekends. They have modern arts, local PNW, Asian, European, African American, ancient exhibitions. Current special is Calder in motion, fixed blocks hanging on flexible steel wires, looks like flying objects. The porcelain room uniquely displayed various china for whole room from wall to wall which is never seen in other museums.
Experiência fantástica: Fantastic collection of different mediums of art from across the centuries. I very much enjoyed the time spent there today. The staff was awesome, and the gift shop has a wide variety of items that you are sure to find something you enjoy!
Experiência positiva: The Seattle Art Museum feels like a local gem that’s not really specifically for locals. I live down the street and never once have I ever heard of anything to get locals to come which is a shame as they have some unique stuff. We stopped in for the Calder exhibit as well as the Hokusai and both were enjoyable. I’d love to come by more often but at $30 a pop it’s tough to justify it as a drop by unlike, say, the Met in NY with their donation based entrance fee. Overall I’m glad Seattle has an art museum even if it doesn’t compare to some of the world class museums of other big cities.
Experiência fantástica: This was a fun museum to experience. Lots of different art pieces. The building isn’t very big but it is packed with lots of cool sections and unique displays. They also offer free entrance on the first Thursday of the month!
Experiência fantástica: Wow! I’m very impressed of this place! I bought my ticket online (you should too to avoid the line up). They have a complimentary coat/bag check. This museum has so many stuff to see like it’s a lot and I could probably spend hours and hours in here but I only got limited amount of time. I never thought this museum would be very very busy and it was a long line up to see the special exhibition by a Japanese artist Hokusai. Nonetheless it was a good experience for me and I would visit this museum again in the near future.
Experiência positiva: It was a big museum with an extensive collection with a lot of variety. It was just a variety that I wasn't too interested in. They did have this amazing piece: a mouse sitting on a person in bed. It was so silly I love it. Other than that one piece, I didn't feel much for the rest of the museum The gift shop was also pretty big, and the museum even has a coat check for large bags that aren't allowed.
Experiência positiva: This is a beautiful museum with wonderful artwork and artistic expressions from all over. Despite the museum's captivating exhibits, my visit was tainted by a disconcerting reality – I was incessantly trailed by three individuals in every section. I was able to even record one of the staff members obviously singling me out. The surveillance footage only confirmed this unsettling experience. Despite reporting to supervisor “Bernard”, the response lacked both resolution and an apology for the evident discrimination. What should have been an enlightening learning experience transformed into a stark reminder of the pervasive racism endured in America. SAM, there's an urgent need for improvement.
Experiência fantástica: Calder's art was well exhibited. It was great to see his many different choices of media. Calder's art changed over time and he never tired of experimenting.
Experiência fantástica: A much more extensive museum than Iever thought. Very nice permanent collection, including the ekevatot hardwate designed by Louis Sullivan for the Chicago Stock Exchange. The Calder exhibit was great to see.
Experiência positiva: Visited the Calder exhibit, and it was limited. Ended up wandering through various very disjointed exhibits that failed to flow - native art, George Floyd related art, Chinese art, portraitures, all juxtaposed next to each other randomly. Went to the Hokusai exhibit, and again a terrible flow into adjacent rooms. The coat check line was impossibly long bc it was raining out. The ticket purchase was quick. Visited a “Meet the Artist” event next to the gift shop and had a cup of free wine then ended up buying $2K piece of art.
Experiência fantástica: We were there to see the Hokusai exhibit. Only had time to see Calder:In Motion in addition to that. Unfortunately didn't have time to fully appreciate the rest that this museum has to offer, so definitely will be back! We were there on New Year's Eve, so there was no wait anywhere. I would imagine it's not always like that.
Experiência positiva: The museum is smaller than I thought. It would probably take you up to an hour to see everything. Feels like mostly modern art was displayed during my visit. But I did like a few things and will attach photos. Parking in the same building is not the cheapest. I paid 20$ for slightly over an hour. If the weather is good, it is a nice spot to take a walk around downtown after your visit to Museum.
