🗣️ Museu de Londres: Opiniões
Experiência positiva: The Museum of London offers a captivating journey through the city's rich history. From prehistoric times to modern-day London, the exhibits are meticulously curated, providing insightful glimpses into the city's evolution. The museum's interactive displays and artifacts bring history to life, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.
Experiência fantástica: Just my personal opinion but this is the best museum in London, my personal favourite. It's all great, it's all super interesting. They don't flood you with useless information like some museums. There's interactive stuff, there are different types of exhibits. It's just superb. The Black Death and Victorian sections in particular deserve a mention. I can't wait to go back when they have moved or done the renovation, I've been multiple times and have recommended this museum to many people who enjoyed it too.
Experiência fantástica: It is a museum with sections where you can see the historical development of London, the change in social and cultural life, and see the social and commercial life as if you were living in its period.
Experiência fantástica: This museum isn't just about dusty artifacts! It's a captivating journey through London's history. Walk through recreated scenes and exhibits, and you'll feel transported back in time. See how social and cultural life evolved, and immerse yourself in the daily hustle and bustle of London through the ages. It's a truly interactive experience that brings history to life!
Experiência fantástica: Don't be like me! Before you travel for over an hour to get here... make sure it hadn't shut down two years ago, lol
Experiência fantástica: A great museum, you can spend a lot of hours here. Beatiful place
Experiência fantástica: Engaging exhibits. Two or so hours worth of content. Learn about the history of London from 450,000 BC to today.
Experiência fantástica: Very good place my 10 year old twins loved it
Experiência fantástica: I booked a ticket in advance. Entry is free. It was a cool place to visit and educative content also.
Experiência fantástica: This is a brilliant museum with well laid out exhibits showing London from pre-Roman times to the present day. I took my autistic son with me and he loved it. It has a really nice cafe with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Thoroughly recommended.
Experiência fantástica: This museum is way bigger than I expected. The flow is well organized and you can touch some of the items, which is pretty cool too! If you are interested in the history of London, this museum will impress you.
Experiência fantástica: As a museum this has a mix of boring formal and funny informal attractions and lots of places to sit. Love the humour and vibe of the modern part and the prices in the shop weren't so bad either. Excellent selection of merch to bring home after a long day. Also excellent service and amazing people working there
Experiência positiva: Collection of articals from stone age to current era. Nice exhibits. Few small Indore movie theaters to explain about unforgettable incidents like Great Fire of London etc.
Experiência fantástica: Very popular site and worth visiting. Staff were very nice and relax about answering questions. That’s a plus. Recommended
Experiência positiva: Very nice museum with free entrance. The Roman time and Victorian Time exhibition are really worth to explorer.
Experiência fantástica: Really enjoyed my visit on 4 Dec 2022. For 45 years at London Wall, it’s due to relocate to West Smithfield opening to the public in 2026.
Experiência fantástica: A highly enjoyable visit but note - the museum closes down after 4 December, until 2026 when it relocates to West Smithfield Market.
Experiência fantástica: So informative; so fascinating; so diverse! from Romans to GRIME. most definitely worth a visit on our 1 day in London trip! Please leave a donation the museum thoroughly deserves it.
Experiência fantástica: A brilliant museum. Activities for the children to get them looking everywhere too. Can be managed within 2 hours, and is really informative and interesting. Free to enter too. Edit: on our return visit we were pleased to see that not much has changed. A pleasure to visit again.
Experiência positiva: Great museum and good for a family day out. There was a fun activity for kids, find the hidden rats! You could also see a Roman living room complete with mosaic floor. Really amazing! Only downside some of the interactive videos weren't working. Otherwise well worth a visit, as it is free.
Experiência positiva: An interesting place to go to see the history of London. Particularly the Roman period and The great fire of London. Has more modern sections as well. Harry Kane section when we went...
Experiência fantástica: A great place to learn about London and it's history. And there is even a free entrance! I recommend to everybody who is interested in history and curious to know how people lived and built this city!
Experiência fantástica: History of London and development of its culture! Beginning from hunter gatherers tribes of the stone age all the way to the modern era... And don't miss the Victorian walk where a neighborhood from the Victorian era is rebuilt and simulated. You can relive the past!
Experiência positiva: Fantastic museum to understand London since its conception. Very interactive, lots of information is given in a precise way, and the zone where is located is beautiful. I gave it a four because there is nothing about the music, which I consider is very important to London's culture as well! Would recommend it if interested in the city's history (:
Experiência fantástica: Incredible display of artifacts & information, far too much to take in in one visit. Sadly a few of the exhibits were closee for private viewing by school visits or having been booked for private events.
Experiência fantástica: This museum is huge and has a lot to cover. Definitely will take couple of hours to get the best out of it . Starts with journey of mankind all the way to Victoria London
Experiência positiva: I was visiting London and really enjoyed this museum. I learned about the history of the Great Fire of London. There were several schools that brought the children there for a field trip. I would definitely return.
Experiência fantástica: Came here on Saturday to view the Grime Exhibition and wasn’t disappointed! Lovely little museum and cool areas to view. The souvenir shop had a tiny section of Grime related gifts you could buy and my partner managed to buy a top he’d never seen a design for before so result! Also nice that it’s a very short walk to the Barbican Centre.
Experiência fantástica: From pre-historic times to the modern period, the museum consists of large collections, artifacts, sculptures and paintings that have made London special and unique. It's free to visit and has a nice decoration providing a historical perspective. Definitely a must visit one.
Experiência fantástica: All about the history of London, very interesting and not too exhausting. Entry is free. Super nice employees. My favourite part was the (little) grime exhibition. If you're into music, especially rap, you don't want to miss it.
Experiência fantástica: Great free museum where you should give a generous donation to keep it running. Nice exhibits and interesting facts about early history of London. Enjoyed the presentations throughout the museum. Food is available. Remember to save extra time to visit the surrounding area that has the original London Wall and houses the Financial District. Enjoy!
Experiência positiva: Very interesting to learn about the long and varied history of London all the way back from 400,000 BC. Free entry, and the museum has lots of different exhibits, including some interactive ones that kids might like. Went on a week day and was not too crowded but still a decent number of people.
Experiência positiva: Really interesting exhibition about the history of London. Lots of really interesting artefacts to see and a few videos to watch. This is not really suitable for young kids, but would be great for teenagers and adults. A really great video about world war 2, but it is extremely sad. Lovely cafe at the entrance too. Well worth a visit.
Experiência positiva: A very unorganized, chaotic museum with not a lot of organization in my opinion. Would be easy to miss things. Exhibits were good in places but never sure the order or the direction to look at them. Not enough on certain time periods yet more on others. Needs more structure. Free to enter so worth coming for something to do. Nice little gift shop and there’s a cafe but did not use it so cannot comment about that.
Experiência fantástica: We went with the intention of seeing the Harry Kane exhibit and stayed for a few hours enjoying the various exhibits. It was so interesting to see the history of London and it's people. It's free to enter but well worthy of a donation.
Experiência fantástica: We thought we would try and get to the Museum of London before it closes for its coming move to Smithfields. Also one of the kids had been learning about the fire of London, so this was a good opportunity to feed more knowledge to the young minds in the family! We was greeted well upon arrival and given a quick note of where everything is, and the kids were given some trail sheets to follow. We had a quick look at the Harry Kane exhibition before going through the ages if London. Personal preference in the fact that we skimmed though prehistoric fairly quickly, but we spent a fair amount of time at the other areas. We were completely knackered by the end of our visit - there for about 3 hours! The only downside to our visit (and not really the museum itself) was the cafe, went in for some drinks and food. Tables were not clean had to argue to get a cup to go with canned drink (was sharing with kids).
Experiência fantástica: This is one of the best museum of London. Here entry is free. But just to register online. Very big and very nice museum. In this place, where you can see all ancient things when London was not devlopted, which is with limited land and after that how they expanded in such form. They display very well. Must visit place Kids might like but explain them by read all the details written over their.
Experiência fantástica: Great place to take the kids and free too! Really informative about the amazing history of London, Londinium, Lundenwic, Lundenburh or whatever it want's to call itself If you DO want to touch the walls of old Londinium as I did. You will actually find those outside the museum. Go outside, turn left and keep going left till you see a set of stairs that go all the way to ground level. Go down them and walk up the road a bit. Then directly opposite the carpark entrance you will is your first bit of wall. Go down the stairs and into the garden as well because there is a lot more wall in the area!
Experiência fantástica: If you want to know about the history of the city of London. Put this museum on your bucket list, but be quick, because it will be closing its doors soon, as it's being relocated to West Smithfield. The main reason I came to visit The London Museum, was to see the see the London 2012 Olympic torch and trust me it was worth a visit. Even though it's been 10 years since London hosted the games. The legacy still lives on.
Experiência fantástica: Lovely greeting from two friendly staff. What a difference a kind face makes. Really enjoyed the layout of the museum and plenty of seating as you walk around to enjoy the displays at your leisure.
Experiência fantástica: Great place to visit. So many exhibits on display. Allow atleast 4 hours for a good look around. Family quizzes are available at the entrance to take part in on the way round. Toilet facilities are clean and tidy. Nice shop and cafe Only at this location for another few months but the new location will be fantastic
Experiência fantástica: An impressive work to tell the history of London very visually while showcasing the historical findings including many mud-larked from the Thames. Some parts were more attractive than others, especially for children, because of the interactive aspect. My 8 year old liked the Roman life exhibits (especially the food) and the Victorian feel shops and places in particular. It would have been really great to have something more interactive for the Anglo Saxon and the medieval time as well.
Experiência fantástica: Very nice museum. An extraordinary journey This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reconceive what a museum for London can be.
Experiência fantástica: First time here, and an excellent way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. 2 pm was perfect as it gives you enough time to look around before it closes, and it wasn't that busy either. Make sure to visit by December 2022 as they are moving to a new location. It looks incredible what they are going to do. There are a couple of pictures with the details, but if you are interested, make sure you look online and see what the plans are when they open in 2025! It's a short distance walk from St Paul's, Barbican and Farringdon The history right across the board is fascinating. It makes you think how in-depth London is, from the Roman days, the critical part of the Thames had been to the black death, to the London fire, Victorian times, multicultural, Kings and Queens it's full of history if you want to learn more about this great city. It's free to enter, but it's up to you if you want to donate your choice, which I felt was important This is one of many great museums in the city! Solid A***** LDT x
Experiência fantástica: We loved this museum. Very informative and filled with fabulous artifacts and scenes of times gone by. Highly recommended for anyone interested in how London developed from a small settlement to the capital city we know today. The staff were very good, greeting us and providing information and direction. And its FREE! Well done to the curators and staff for providing such a brilliant place to visit.
Experiência fantástica: London has some of the best museums in the world and so many of then are free to boot. This museum is well set up to tell the story of of London from prehistoric times all the way into the modern Era. Each section highlights major events, technologies, and traditions to illustrate the corresponding time period. The medieval section and the women's suffrage exhibits particularly captured my attention.
Experiência fantástica: The museum of London is a great place to learn a lot about the history of London. It was not too obvious about how to enter the museum. I saw people walking across a bridge connected to an escalator, so I found the escalator and went up then find the bridge, which led to the entrance of the museum. It’s free to enter, though donation was recommended. I saw a lot of interesting things. The gift shop was nice too. I found a lot of affordable little things as gifts, but I did not buy anything because I tried to be minimal.
Experiência fantástica: I really liked this museum!! I'm very interested in the working class in Victorian London and this is the only museum I could find which had an exhibit about it. I do wish that section had been a bit bigger but that's just me. There are replicas of Victorian streets and the pleasure gardens, which was so cool! Also a Victorian doll house!! I think this would be a great place to take your kids- I was a bit odd as a kid and absolutely obsessed with Victorian everything, but I know for a fact that I would have LOVED it. There were a lot of child-friendly question prompts. There was also a really interesting small exhibit about Twitter which I thought was cool. Also the museum does go through the entire history of London going back to prehistoric times. It's not at all just about the Victorians hahaha that's a pretty small portion. Just what I was interested in and found most notable!
Experiência fantástica: Great museum about the history of London from ancestry til now. Free entrance, donations are suggested. Wide variety of sections. It is distributed depending on the ages. Still has a section of the original Roman arches. Ideal to go with kids and anybody else. Very nice staff. 5 stars
Experiência fantástica: Great museum with plenty to see. They had a great little 'find the rat' trail on for the children when we visited. Kept my little ones busy looking into each display which ment I saw a little more. Clean and tidy with very helpful staff.
Experiência fantástica: A wonderful place with a lot of different sections showing the ancient ancient history of human weapons, shops, and more.
Experiência positiva: The museum is prepping to move and will soon be renamed London Museum. Great education on how London came to be!
Experiência fantástica: It is a good visit with a lot of history about UK with many images and explanations. Worth visit and it is free
Experiência fantástica: It is what it says on the can. A Museum of London showing how the capital grew and developed from its earliest settlements to the current day. It hosts well though out exhibitions about London. Well worth a visit.
Experiência fantástica: Great place to visit - for all ages. The Museum is a manageable size with period-specific zones/galleries show-casing different aspects of life in London through the centuries. There are a number of new galleries with the 'London before London' one being a great new addition. There are two cafés: one as you enter and another in the lowest level. Good facilities for schools and families abound. There is always something new to discover and this time for me it was some of the pottery in the medieval times area. It was quirky and me smile! The plans for a proposed nice to nearby Smithfield's look *really* exciting!
Experiência fantástica: The Museum of London is one of those places where the content is narrow in breadth, yet the length of time covered is incredibly mind blowing; that you are standing on a place that started millennia ago already as a city, and parts of it still define the city like roads or are extremely personable but archaic graffiti (like "I was here! 50AD") on a newly finished Roman wall. Such things predate the current colonial history and even the mediaeval era. To me, seeing a 2000 year old drainage pipe found where my hotel is fires up the imagination more than dinosaur bones which are dug up in some remote hill or valley in Mexico.
Experiência fantástica: This is one of the best museums to visit with children in London. It has plenty of historical recreations and also some hands on activities.
Experiência fantástica: Very nice musuem to learn about the history of London and its deep roots in the City. The exhibitions are well maintained and stocked with great momentos of London history. Great day for the family. Highly recommend for anyone visiting in the area and looking for something indoors. Still, not too of the choice for a musuem in London, plenty of other options.
Experiência fantástica: Great museum , very entertaining and informative . Kids will love it too . There is a cafe with drinks ,snacks and hot food .
Experiência positiva: Good collection of London history and evolve to great city as London. You can visit this site without any entry fee as it run through donation but it will be good if you book your slot online. Staff/ volunteers are too much comparative. It good to visit if you are interested about London history and it has preserved old roman wall. It is situated nearby of st paul cathedral.
Experiência fantástica: I thought the museum was well thought out and designed, very clean, and interesting. Worth a visit if you love London.
Experiência fantástica: What an amazing place... So much crammed into this place... You follow a timeline from the beginning of London right up to present day. There's so much to see and it's presented brilliantly I loved the garden bit with the film playing of people dancing in period costume and the old black and white footage from pathe news... So much to enjoy 2 cafes which were both really nice, one at the entrance and on the ground floor Last but not least an incredible shop.... Lots of fabulous gifts, really well sourced, an absolute joy, loved every second
Experiência positiva: I have not been here for years, and was not sure what to expect Easy entry, pleasant staff ensuring you had pre booked, then into to the museum proper, starting from pre history and then on to the origins of London as a town and a river crossing point. Really interesting and well signed posted. Moving on through history to Middle Ages, there was not as much as I expected on the civil war and the fire of London. The trial then moves downstairs and the Victorian era, here I got a little lost, with a breakdown in the signing. Nice shops display covering the 20/30s. The war section was a bit light weight as was the period covering the 50/60/70’s A good experience but could be better.
Experiência fantástica: It was such a beautiful museum I loved how they captured the roman history aswell . Really amazing place to bring your kids as it is bery educational. Also got alot of vintage pictures and accessories in the London museum shop :)
Experiência fantástica: Great way to spend an afternoon. Make sure to save time for the last parts of the museum, as they are very interesting.
Experiência fantástica: Wonderful trip for a family, the kids loved the interactive seek for the toy rat around the museum. Highly recommend!
Experiência fantástica: Good historical museum. Can see all British history from ancient ages until today. But must come there at early morning if want to see all exposition.
Experiência fantástica: Helpful staff , well laid out interesting exhibits. Truly a place worth a visit in London. Great access for walking impaired.
Experiência fantástica: Really good place for the whole family. Get to be interactive with learning displays and got an easy to follow walk through the time line of London.
Experiência fantástica: Really nice experience. The booking system is very simple and staff was friendly. The museum is very interesting and overall worthwhile.
Experiência fantástica: Brilliant day out with my 7 year old son who loves learning about history. We both enjoyed and we both also learned new and interesting facts.
Experiência fantástica: A very very good museum if you want to find out everything from over millions of years ago up to today about London. You can see so much and do so much which Is completely free. Some of the older things were a little bit Boring but the majority is very intresting. I would %100 recommend visiting.
Experiência positiva: Well worth a visit if you are visiting London. If you are from London and the surrounding areas you will enjoy it even more. Expect a full history using original artefacts, maps, diagrams and models to see our capital from pre roman times right up to date. The walking route is a little confusing but not too disruptive to a very enjoyable visit. It's free but make sure you donate something, as with all museums.
Experiência fantástica: Everything you want to learn about London from Roman colonisation to modern day, very interesting. Loved the Victorian Walk, it made your experience unique!
Experiência positiva: Very much liked it. Interesting facts on London history through the years from medieval to modern. Only downside really was could have been more to see and do but they are moving to a new location so hopefully will add more. There is a cafe, toilet facilities, small play area for kids and a gift shop. The main reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that I was with my daughter so didn't get as much time as I needed to explore properly
Experiência fantástica: The story of London presented in the best possible way. Details of all eras, from palaiolithic period to modern times. Delaying your visit might not be wise. They will move soon. Go before they close their doors. The mouse-guest star is a brilliant idea! Search for it
Experiência fantástica: Fantastic place for all ages...so much to see and experience...from old London to new. So many exhibits and interactive sections. And as a Spurs FC fan i enjoyed the Harry Kane exhibition. Allow around 2 hours for your visit. It is only a 5 min walk from Barbican or St Pauls underground stations.
Experiência fantástica: Last months before the Museum moves to a new location. Here at London Wall (opened in 1976) the experience is truly magical. The history of London from prehistoric times to the 90s. All the artifacts very well presented. A great visit for both adults and kids. Let's hope the new Museum site will keep some of the old charm.
Experiência positiva: It's a really good museum for learning about the city. A lot of space is given over to prehistoric times and then other sections maybe feel a little small? I love the pleasure gardens replica with beautiful costumes, and the Victorian and Roman replica rooms. The layout can be a little confusing (hard to tell if you've missed something), and on a busy day there are a few pinch points- flow could be better. The museum is moving location and upgrading sometime in the not too distant future, so I'm interested to see how it changes.
Experiência positiva: Very nice visit. I was able to go everywhere with the buggy. The kids enjoyed revisiting some of the school topics. I really like the pleasure garden and the Victoria way.
Experiência fantástica: Did you know that the history of London dates back nearly half a million years! I didn't until I visited the museum of London. If you're a history buff this is the place for you. Loads of walking so good experience. Loads of fascinating exhibitions. Activities for kids. This place a great, well worth a visit. Free entry but please donate £5 to help them stay open. 5 minutes walk from St Paul's tube station.
Experiência positiva: Only few months left before moving to a new place, the museum of London can give you a summary of the history of the city. The museum is organised in rooms with time order. It is easy to navigate yourself through the exhibitions, read the signs and gain knowledge for the history of the city. It worth a visit. 2 hours are sufficient to give a close look to everything.
Experiência positiva: Museum has some good and some kinda boring exhibits. However this is personal choice. For me, not being a Londoner it wasn't all for me. However was very informative. I preferred the later part where there was more fun things there. I did feel the guy explaining they were a charity at the beginning a bit much. We and I'm sure most people understand that these places are relying on funding and donations. However we would prefer to donate in peace without feeling forced. After all the tickets were free, it's the least we can do is spare money for them. As I'm sure most will feel the same.
Experiência fantástica: It's free. So that's a bonus. You can make a donation. They ask for £5 and it's worth it. It was great to learn more about the city that I've lived in for nearly my whole life. I've never been before. I should've gone before. It's not just for tourists. I was enticed to come by the Harry Kane exhibit and I loved it. It was amazing to see all the other exhibits that they have. Would highly recommend it. The place has moody lighting. It's not a bright museum. Actually I would say it's dark inside.
Experiência fantástica: Beautiful scenery, archeology in its finest, history was really played out for all to see. I really love the place
Experiência fantástica: Went to see the Harry kane exhibition, which was great!! I walked around the rest of the museum and I love the way things are displayed in each era. Overall very good museum and knowledgeable staff
Experiência fantástica: This free museum was so much fun. Great place to learn who was here before the Londaniers. Lots of walking
Experiência fantástica: Please visit this place. It is free to enter, however, you are encouraged to leave a donation, and jam packed with history, right the way from BC, all the way to the modern day. It's incredible to learn how London changed from a tiny settlement on a huge bed of water, to the thriving multinational city that it is today, and it brings to life the value of innovation.
Experiência fantástica: Great free museum that speaks to the history of London. Very cool artifacts. Be sure to check out the remains of the London Wall around the museum! Good interactive exhibits for kids too
Experiência fantástica: Took my 7 year old here as he wanted to see the great fire of London museum as he'd be learning about it at school. It's a fab place, easy to find and get too, loads to do. And see and he found most of it really interesting walking through the history of London through the ages and even before "London was London". Definately recommend.
Experiência fantástica: This was a fantastic place. Mainly bones and stone age stuff on main floor which Is quite interesting but not very geographic if you wanted to know what a particular place in London was like in the ice age. Downstairs is fantastic. A real treasure trove of recent London history. Plus exhibition of Grime including Jammer from Waltham Forest. Plus Harry Kane exhibition. I'm not a Spurs fan but my missus loved it. It's all free but give these guys a donation while your there.
Experiência fantástica: As with all museums, there is simply too much to take in. This museum is dedicated to the London area, with so many artifacts including from a time when London didn't exist. Roman London is covered extensively, plus the Great Fire, black death, the plague etc. The mock up of Victorian streets is very good as well. I really went to see the Harry Kane exhibition on this occasion, inspiring, I thought. The museum is moving to Smithfields in a few months, in should be even grander
Experiência fantástica: History revisited. To get to know history of London a must spot. Very informative sections. Good work by the organization and the staffs
Experiência positiva: There is no clear flow to some parts of the museum & I think like it would be really easy to miss bits. The staff were friendly & they had some good pieces in there. They could do with making it a bit interactive for kids. Took a couple of hours to walk though it all.
Experiência fantástica: Recommended to me by a friend as a bit of a different museum. At first I thought the top portion was a bit dry - I mean, how many pre-historic axe/arrow-heads can you see to get the point? However, the deeper I got into the museum (Starting with the Roman era), I got what the museum was trying to do in immersing you to tell the story of London through the ages. By the time I got down to the modern times on the bottom, I became a big fan of the museum and its layout/presentation. I’m very glad I got to see this - it’s relocating at the end of the year to a new location and may be shut-down for a lengthy period of time. Wish I had another 30-45 minutes to take it in - you’ll want to put this on your list at about 2.5 hrs. Also it’s a short walk away from St. Paul’s so it’s a good way to round out the morning or afternoon. I was very impressed with the Victorian walk presentation
Experiência fantástica: Excellent museum. The entrance is FREE and worth a visit. Well displayed exhibitions. A lot of interactive things. Many coins from the Roman period are on display there. Тhe Roman walls outside the museum which is part of the complex.
Experiência fantástica: Wonderful museum for everyone of all ages, lots to see here. This is another one of the top “FREE” museums in London. Open: Wednesday–Sunday (10am–5pm) The Museum of London tells the history of London from prehistoric times to the modern day. Not your average local history museum – the story is told in an entertaining way with models, films and multimedia displays. Their gift shop is one of the best places for London-related books and souvenirs. Highlights: The Lord Mayor’s coach, Pearly Kings and Queen costumes, Fanshawe dress, Selfridges Art Deco lift.
Experiência fantástica: The museum of London is very much interesting I’ve spent nearly 3-4 hours in museum looking for each n every single thing. Very much informative things here about London. Take your kids here and they will know a lot of things. Friendly and helpful staff Quick scanning at entrance if you already book your tickets online. Must visit
Experiência fantástica: This is a stunning museum! I’m planning to come back a second time to experience it again. Being from South Africa, it was so lovely to see references to my country (Nelson Mandela) and my city Cape Town, in the museum. The first commercial flight from London was to Cape Town! The exhibition starts right in the beginning, I mean prehistoric beginning! And then goes all the way through the ages including the time of Roman rule. There was no wait to enter and the museum was not full at all which made for a pleasant experience even though we visited on a public holiday. There’s a café inside where you can purchase food and drink. Free tickets must be pre-booked online for a particular time slot. There are lockers to keep items such as a jacket and backpack but you need £1 coins to use it. I would have loved to see more of ‘modern’ London in this museum but I guess that would need a whole museum on its own! This is a must-see when coming to London and 1 hour is sufficient to see everything.
