Experiência fantástica: Love this place! They are part of ASTC passport program, so if you have membership from Science central FW you can enter for free. They have much more exhibits and areas to explore. It is by the river with great view.

Experiência fantástica: I think people overlook this building in the zoo and they shouldn’t. Not only are the exhibits downstairs really interesting and fun (who doesn’t love a giant frog or a mammoth) but they have a TON of animals in here! Snakes, frogs, fish (including ones you can touch!), lizards, insects, arachnids, and more.

Experiência negativa: They have a bunch of underage people running the cage. I ask about their alcohol and the beer, and they don't know ANYTHING about their alcohol. Not what type of beer it is, or even percentage. Not only that, the young boy was holding my beer while talking to multiple people and laughing then finally handing me my beer after holding it for no reason for over 45 seconds. That guy needs to be fired. This place needs to hire people with understanding of the few products they sell, and maybe someone that is legal to serve. What a freaking joke this place is!

Experiência fantástica: The Toledo Zoo is just nice. The Orchid Show was our reason for attending today. So pretty.

Experiência fantástica: Really beautiful building and exhibits. This building is much less busy than the rest of the Zoo, even during a weekend, so there's room to look at all the exhibits. The displays and exhibits are all beautifully done and the building is very clean. There is a variety of things to look at, ranging from taxidermied animals, sculpted animals, real-life animals and insect exhibits, and animal mounts and bones. Everything is very clearly well maintained. If you want to take your time, I would reserve about 1.5-2.5 hours for this building depending on if you stop to read the plaques and how long you spend at each exhibit. This building is more mobility-aid friendly than other zoo buildings. There is an elevator as well as private accessible bathrooms. Price for entry: $29.00

Experiência fantástica: I really enjoyed this place. it gave me a feeling like I was at Hogwarts. (Just my personal feeling) I like how they had exhibits you can interact with and see where the employees work at in the basement. It's free to go in however, of course you have to pay the zoo entrance fee.

Experiência fantástica: The Toledo Zoo is a local treasure. One of the best zoos in the nation . Making it one of the best in the world. The animal conservation is unbelievable. The success they have with breeding anamils and releasing. Monarch butterflies and sturgeon are released annually. Then tracked forever , for there lifetime. The have had so many successes, check out for yourself. Polar bears, elephants, frogs, snow leapers. Check it out. Great work being done at a Great Zoo.

Experiência fantástica: It is quite impressive what the zoo has done to improve this building! I love the Hall of Venom and everything else. The girls love going to the area that has animal furs that they can touch and the animal skeletons and sea shells. I enjoy the various animal mounts as well. Be sure to enter this building and take some time to explore when you are at the zoo.

Experiência fantástica: We love the displays in their natural habitat, or what would like the natural habitat. A plus in the summer is it is air-conditioned. Some hands on experiences for children as well.

Experiência fantástica: The museum is definitely worth visiting. We were not going to go in but were happy we did. They was alot of history of the animals with full size replication of a mastodon and many other animals. Our grandkids really enjoyed seeing them and also getting to see and touch the live sturgeon. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Experiência fantástica: I was so sad when they removed the old bug exhibit as it was one of my places when I came here as a child. When I walked into the new attraction, I was like a child all over again!! This place is HUGE and there is so much to do. I could easily spend the entire day reading information and touching in the touch tanks. I love our zoo!
