Experiência fantástica: So enjoyed the Science Museum and the Lyman and Mary Wood Museum with the history of Springfield. All residents would be proud to see it...really!

Experiência fantástica: Now I am convinced Springfield is the city of firsts. Very interesting museum with a gallery upstairs specifically for Indian motorcycles, Smith, and Wesson history with a ton of guns, They even have Dr. Seuss’s car on display with the license plate grinch. there’s much more to tell about this museum. Definitely worth the trip no matter what you’re interest are.

Experiência fantástica: Great museum! They have something for everyone! From Dr Seuss to interactive games for the kids (and kids at heart) the giant t-rex is a favorite, so much to see, it's a wonderful place to spend the day!

Experiência fantástica: Whether you just visiting Springfield, or you live here, this part of the Springfield Museum complex is well worth the visit. So much of Springfield has contributed to the quality of life in this country, in addition to its defense and progress. Once a mega for Victorian and Edwardian homes, in the Hill McKnight section of Springfield, are still many fine examples of this architecture. Visit these great museums and you'll see how great life can be here in Springfield.

Experiência fantástica: I was very surprised at the size of the museum, it was small but had a lot to see and laid out very well. The museum staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit , I really enjoyed this museum.

Experiência fantástica: The history museum has interesting exhibits about Indian motorcycles, the Springfield Armory, John Brown and abolition, Friendly's ice cream, and much more. We also enjoyed the art museum. Don't miss the French Impressionist gallery on 2nd floor. Good food at Blake house, very helpful museum staff.

Experiência fantástica: This place manages to take something that's often presented as dry, with text and no visuals, and makes it fun for people of any age. The cars, the recreated storefronts, the different artifacts. Well worth a visit.

Experiência positiva: Lots to see, we loved the Dr. Seuss and Toy museums, but the History and Toy museums were too dusty for my asthma and allergies.

Experiência positiva: This was a very cool museum because I love cars and motorcycles and Springfield is the birthplace of the Indian motorcycle! Also, many people do not realize that Springfield MA is the birthplace of Friendly's Ice Cream, Brighams, Colombia bicycle, a hot bed of anti-slavery sentiment before the civil war, Peerlesa hand cuffs, Smith & Wesson gin manufacturers, and a whole lot more! This was a great museum to visit and it's not too big to get done in under an hour or two.
