Experiencia fantástica: The most spectacular room in the whole Vatican Museums tour. Ever single part of this room has something interesting about it. The walls are covered by gigantic maps of Italian provinces, as well as some full Italy old and new maps towards the very end. Above, hundreds of paintings fill the ceilings. Unfortunately, it will always be busy with people, even in late season like October.

Experiencia fantástica: The Gallery of Maps is a part of the Vatican Museums. A huge gallery that has paintings of maps from ceiling to the floor. Absolutely beautiful and stunning to see that these maps are painted with such detail. The ceilings of the room too are full of art work and simply beautiful. Simply amazing and absolutely recommended.
