Experiencia positiva: Beautiful building with lots of beautiful arts. However a bit difficult to enjoy the place in your own pace as you pretty much have to keep a constant flow throughout the building due to large crowds. Plus you’re not allowed photos in the Sistine chapel area

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely terrific. We did a small group tour & skipped the line. Our tour guide was great. Priceless antiquities of human history are in the Vatican. The imagination of the artists, the colors, their skills are on display throughout the buildings. Catholic or not, this should not be missed if in Rome.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful. Lots of people but just were very respectful and quiet. We were told we were not allowed to take pictures of any kind in the actual chapel. Unfortunate when there is still somebody who figures they are above the rules and takes photos anyway. The rule is meant to protect the integrity of these many hundred-year-old paintings so beautifully restored now. The pictures shown here with my posting are in an area outside the chapel where you are allowed to photograph.

Experiencia fantástica: My 3rd time here. last time was about 20 years ago and it seems like time has stopped here. I'm not a religious person, but you can feel the divine presence and just take it all in. You can see in your mind the artist laying down on his back and just making history. Love it!
