Experiencia fantástica: Just over 20y ago a flood damaged several buildings in Prague which uncovered this secret laboratory dating back to the 16th century. By far one of the coolest things I've seen in my life! You can descend into the actual tunnels but do note the steps are indeed a little old, damp and unstable, be careful!

Experiencia fantástica: Definitely one of the most unique experiences that I’ve ever had. It’s hard to come by a place of such where I learnt interesting things about European and Eastern European history, religion, philosophy, science (part of alchemy), etc. The tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the place and history of Czech and Bohemia. The tour is affordable as well. Highly recommend for your trip in Prague and definitely a nice indoor spot to check out on a gloomy/rainy day.

Experiencia fantástica: The tour is 30min, for 200czk, a must visit if you are in Prague! I found this place just strolling through the area, stopped by the door decorations and it's the best decision I'd ever made! It is one of the coolest place I ever visited! I have heard of the tale of alchemist in the past but never have I felt so close to it. This is actual, historical site where they preformed alchemy! I thought it was all more mythical but it was all real, their elixir are real, they left real products and recipes! The effects is not totally as they say but more similar to vitamins that is good for you, but so cool!! The alchemist sealed this place when they left, kept it secret and it's only found and restored pretty recently! Definitely visit, worth every penny!

Beware when it rains the tunnels are flooded and you will not be able to explore the whole area but there is a discount of 100CZK. This is also much better than the so called alchemy museum across the Charles Bridge which was a huge tourist trap

Experiencia fantástica: Speculum Alchemiae is an English guided tour of 45min, for 8 eur (200 CZK) going through a few rooms (mostly underground). Though many items are modern reproductions, the house was really used by an alchemist in the 16th century, and it feels authentic. The tour is great, counting stories of hidden passages, forbidden sciences under the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolph II to produce the Philosopher Stone or the Elixir of Youth. If you're hesitant between this one and the "Museum of Alchemists and Magicians of Old Prague", I strongly recommend this one. Definitely worth the time and money.

Experiencia fantástica: A wonderfully bizarre little attraction near Prague’s Old Town Square This shop was said to be the residence of alchemists during the reign of Rudolf II. At this time the Emperor was interested in the magic arts, and all the astrologers, scientists, alchemists, and charlatans descended on Prague. Apparently some of them worked here and in 2002, a major flood in Prague revealed underground cellars and passages where the alchemists once worked. It has been restored and is a wonderfully macabre and fascinating place. Some of the restoration is possibly a little overdone, but it is still quite amazing to go into the tunnels. Note that only guided tours are possible here, due to the nature of the site.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience!! The tour is 35-40 minutes long (available in english and czech) and the place itself is spectacular, one of the oldest houses in Prague! A must visit if you're a fan of history and alchemy, and the tour guide is insightful and very helpful!
