🗣️ Museo de Arte Mori: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Super nice museum with the option to go on the roof afterwards. Interesting art works and also easy to digest for younger folks and children.
Experiencia fantástica: Great temporary exhibitions, interesting, modern, and trying to touch important topics. It’s a pity there’s a separate ticket for the same price for the Tokyo view though.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting museum with global art pieces. You can get a small discount if you show them a ticket stub from other museums like the National Art Center. Make sure to go to the information desk instead of the ticket machine for the discount. The art itself was interesting and I liked the global reach of the current exhibit. Very interesting!
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting and inspiring exhibition which has been thoughtfully curated. My son studying Art at high school found many pieces motivating and inspirational. Highly recommend a visit if interested in contemporary art.
Experiencia fantástica: A very nice art museum. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to complete. You could do that a lot quicker if you choose not to read any of the artist descriptions. There is also roof access and overlook on the same floor, along with a Disney cafe and a Disney animation experience.
Experiencia fantástica: Very cool museum on the 50th or something floor of the roppongi hills complex. I thought that the Heatherwick exhibit was fantastic, but I’d probably skip over the contemporary art if I went again. I guess I’m just not a fan of contemporary
Experiencia fantástica: Must visit while in Tokyo. The gallery usually host amazing exhibits, as of now they are hosting Heatherwick Architecture studio. Is fantastic, also you get a 360 view of tokyo from the 52nd floor. The best is to go from 4pm to 6pm so you can enjoy the sunset
Experiencia fantástica: Well curated with meaningful explanatory materials. Audio guide in English helpful.
Experiencia fantástica: A great museum displaying more contemporary Japanese artists. When I was there it was Hikuchi Yuko. Very crowded, but people are lining up so neatly. About 90% of the gallery doesn’t allow any cameras and the staff are quite strict with it. They’ll even ask you to put your camera into your bag. There’s a small gift shop downstairs, and a viewing deck (different ticketing) upstairs.
Experiencia fantástica: My favourite art museum in the sky. Check out the rotating exhibitions as they do have excellent exhibitions at times. The standard ticket now does not include the Tokyo city view unlike a few years ago though, so do remember to purchase the separate ticket if that interests you!
Experiencia positiva: A little bit pricey cos you have to buy individual tickets for every different exhibition. The Sun and Moon restaurant has a really nice Tokyo view but taking reservation is essential.
Experiencia fantástica: Great contemporary art museum. Most are local artists that address societal problems. Took us a good hour to walk through. Just the right amount of context on the info boards. We didn't feel like we missed out by not having the audio guide. Afterwards, I can recommend visiting the sky deck. The entrance is on the same floor. This viewpoint is different than the Tokyo city view. Tickets are only 500¥ not 1200¥ and can be bought on site. Same view just you are outside rather than behind a window. Mt Fuji was visible.
Experiencia fantástica:
Experiencia fantástica: My family and I visited in November 2019 and had a great time. The museum was up high and the view from the observatory is well worth it. We found the exhibits interesting and varied, and I understand they do change so I'd like to visit again and see new displays. There were some cool interactive robot pet exhibits, my 2.5yo loved them. My daughter also loved the spider outside!
Experiencia positiva: Mori Art Museum has come up with a new theme which includes something about effects of tsunami and nuclear power plant explosion and so on. Their idea is really much appreciated but I actually wanted to see the old art which actually made me to visit the Museum but okay not bad but not satisfied, cheers for the work
Experiencia fantástica: Tickets were easy to buy on the day and the staff help to make the process relatively painless. The exhibit features some beautiful art with in-depth explanations of the artists lives as well as more information on some of the pieces. They have a nice range of Artistic Styles, from minimalistic pieces to unique paintings and larger than life sculptures.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved This Place, actually I went there by watching some photos on here , but those piece of art was not there .m so I asked for them, they that that was from 2017 and 2019, so the art displayed here changes almost every year, but loved the place, we were not allowed to touch the pieces of art there , but evrrything astonished us, there were written the info and artist of every piece, it was from all around the world
Experiencia fantástica: I was a bit wavy when I came here but the experience was magical yet also mildly disturbing. The installations are provocative and thought provoking. You get to have a v good view of Tokyo as well included in the ticket price so make sure you go when it's not cloudy or you'll be sad like me although in the end it opened up and it was beautiful and I almost cried. Wierd babies...
Experiencia fantástica: One of the greatest museum in Tokyo, the exhibition is depend on when you visit. The future’s exhibition is really nice and amazing, I love some of the exhibition by Japanese about technology with it’s represent the culture of themselves. They also exhibit about the western world on sometimes .The museum is located on the upper-floor of Roppongi hills building, when you finish exploring the museum you can visit the Tokyo Sky Deck or enjoy the cafe and restaurant up there. The price of the ticket is not that expensive but the experience in there is awesome. I recommend to visit around the noon, so you can enjoy the sunset at Tokyo Sky deck.
Experiencia fantástica: Stunning place, I really love it there and would definitely want to go there again. Amazing and jaw dropping arts. The arts were so intriguing and I would be left in awe everytime. I took so many pictures until my camera battery's out before I could get enough pictures till the end of the exhibitions, I wish I could take more though.
Experiencia fantástica: If you are unsure on what to do by Roppongi during the day, - trust me, there ain’t much, - go here. I live/work close by but the first time here, and very much worth it! They change expositions every several months, and even though the main topic might sound not so attractive (“Is something on architecture actually going to be cool?”), do give it a shot. Fun for both kids and adults alike, incorporating plenty of technology, this probably would be entertaining, educational, and thought provoking. Instagrammable too, but that is just a plus.
Experiencia fantástica: This art exhibit and location is unlike anything else. Interesting to note that the art is just as well refined as the staff help. The view, the beautiful art, and the art itself is challenging and different from anything else I’ve ever seen before. The suitcases, the wool twined, the very obscure descriptions that are not at all pretentious and over thought. Anyway, I’d highly recommend that you check this place out - well worth the money!
Experiencia fantástica: I went to check out the STARS exhibition last week (8/15) and it wasn’t crowded as you can see in the pics. They checked our temperatures at the entrance and also had hand sanitizers. Everyone had a mask on as well. All in all the art work was great and I felt safe. The ticket for STARS exhibition was 2000¥.
Experiencia fantástica: Mori Art Museum is always a great place to visit if you are in Tokyo. I have ventured in on several occasions during a number of various art exhibitions and have always felt it to be a superb experience. This time it was an exhibition called Future and the Arts. "Future and the Arts: AI, Robotics, Cities, Life - How Humanity Will Live Tomorrow, a vast and diverse showcase of over 100 works by artists, architects, think-tanks and more. The exhibition, that will continue till March 29, 2020, invites viewers to contemplate the way superstructures in our world are developing. Future and the Arts examines the way artificial intelligence is creeping slowly into our lives, creating a common wealth of information which could eventually supersede human intelligence."
Experiencia fantástica: I was a little intimidated by the lines leading in to the museum, but it moved pretty quickly. I think if you’re planning on coming during peak hours it’s best to purchase tickets ahead of time. I really liked the modern art and found it was a nice place to relax and take a break from the city. Some of the visiting exhibits were really interesting and while I’m not well versed in art I found I was able to appreciate the artists’ work. There was also a Moomin and Pixar exhibit I think children would enjoy.
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful museum. Experience will obvious vary depending on the exhibition. Make sure to choose one that you are interested in. They sell the tickets in combination with the observatory area (City View) for ¥1,800. I personally find it to be a good deal. You can easily spend 3+ hours with the two areas.
Experiencia fantástica: There are a few impressive descriptions about this Mori art museum. It says this is the museum at the highest or the nearest from the heaven something like that. It could be right cause it’s on the 52nd floor of the Roppongi Hills tower. Once you step in here you get a great view of Tokyo city day or night as well as an interesting exhibition all year around. Most of the time they prefer to exhibit new contemporary art or the works of new Japanese artists. Night view from this floor is super fantastic. About ten years ago when I had a first visit here there used to be a bar. So you could enjoy a night view while having a cocktail. That’s too bad cause they don’t do it anymore. Nevertheless it was still beautiful to see a great night view. And the little gift shop was also very interesting to look around. I strongly recommend to visit this art museum if you travel to Tokyo. You won’t regret it.
