🗣️ Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Siglo XXI, Kanazawa: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: It was a hot summer day when we visit here. Lot of people enjoy the facilities, family with kids really love here.
Experiencia fantástica: Art Museum a place must visit place while traveling to Kazanawa
Experiencia fantástica: Very cool museum. It's a pity the pool gets all the attention and even though you buy a ticket it's not guaranteed you will go underneath.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice building and exhibition. The Turrell room is mind blowing. The museum is very conplete with photography, sculpture and paintings. Full of local artist works. Not to miss!
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting exhibition and impressive design
Experiencia fantástica: We went when it was “closed” but it is walkable even when some of the exhibits are closed! Still so much fun and a must see ….perfect rainy day “free” activity. (Free in asterisks because it’s impossible to not purchase from the super cool gift shop!)
Experiencia fantástica: Not the largest museum you’ll ever go to, but big enough to fill up half a day. Two exceptional permanent exhibits are the fake swimming pool and the Anish Kapoor which is worth staring at for 10 mins if you like that sort of thing.
Experiencia positiva: Some of the exhibits are ok (som at just …) but the museum is absolutely chaotic. Not clear even where the entrance or the different exhibits are. Not clear which exhibits each ticket is valid for. Would still recommend it but be ready to be plenty confused.
Experiencia positiva: Nice museum with contemporary art. A few things to not: - The line up to buy tickets was a bit long (15-20 mins). - They don’t allow big bags inside the exhibition, coin lockers cost around $10. - There’s a very nice and cheap cafe serving desserts, lunch and drinks, HIGHLY recommend
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place! Line will be very long during holidays. It was almost 1.5 to 2 hrs of wait during Golden Week. I bought the “blue” ticket, which was 450 but it was pleasant.
Experiencia positiva: There is a regular collection. Also from time to time there were multiple special collections. The problem is from the main entrance different collections are in different areas. But there is no proper map or mark. You need to ask the staff. Also drinks are not allowed inside. It is difficult to stay long in summer time. It is worth a visit if you are interested in art.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice place! Line will be very long during holidays. It was almost 1.5 to 2 hrs of wait during Golden Week. I bought the “blue” ticket, which was 450 but it was pleasant.
Experiencia fantástica: I like the architecture of this museum. It's full of natural lights. So everytime when I go there, the atomosher is changing depending on the weather. It's temporary closure in response to the state of emergency. (May 16th〜)
Experiencia fantástica: Interesting. We were way-laid by an exhibition, so we missed out on seeing the pool, too many people waiting. The exhibit we saw was fascinating though. The items were dating from 1545 onwards.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing place if you like contemporary art. There's so many pieces both in and outside the building (which is free entry). It's also very close to a nearby bus stop so it's easy to get too from Kanazawa station. There's also a cafe inside, it's not cheap nor expensive but the food is great and the contemporary art style follows inside the cafe too.
Experiencia fantástica: This museum has an excellent layout with some truly unique exhibits. I found the entrance fee to be a great value. Come here before noon and give yourself some time to explore everything carefully. The nice is they also close late!
Experiencia fantástica: Impressed by the museum architecture: like a maze where you never get lost. No predefined route for visiting. People walk naturally but never in the same direction
Experiencia fantástica: Nice contemporary art museum in Kanazawa. One can experience the different visual contemporary art piece such as the famous two sided pool. The museum is mainly free but there are also special exhibit that will needs to get a ticket in order to visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved the experience here :) didn’t have enough time and rushed a bit due to my travel schedule. Will come back again to see more with relaxed schedule.
Experiencia fantástica: Good concept of architecture fitting in the environment. Circle + square, transparent glass + solid wall, negative space + positive room
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful place and famous modern museum, the famous "swimming pool" exhibition is worth a ticket to visit.
Experiencia fantástica: Cool museum with a surprising number of interactive exhibits. If you do one thing at this museum, go INSIDE the Body Space Nave Mind installation by Ernesto Neto -- super cool, well worth the wait! In all, it's a very reasonably priced museum with some phenomenal exhibits.
Experiencia fantástica: The coolest thing I found today is that there is a temporary project called “McDonald’s Radio University” held in an area inside of the museum. This project mimics the service of the typical McDonald’s restaurants as there is counter and clerks serving you, yet this time what you’re paying for ain’t burgers but “lectures from immigrants and refugees”. The topics range from philosophy, literature to science and the lecturers come from different nations around the world. It takes ¥100 for a single 15-20 minutes lesson and a can of drink included.
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting collection. One of the best museum of contemporary art I’ve ever been. Lots of amazing installations. Unfortunately photography is prohibited in most of the rooms. Very interesting souvenir shop
Experiencia fantástica: Cool museum - a little pricey for the exhibitions. But hit and miss as to whether 1 exhibition was worth the admission fee (¥2000 for 2 exhibitions). The outside is free. There's a kids area and lots of space to sit down and chill out (airconditioning on a hot day!!). Cafe food was very average for the prices. The permanent stuff includes a pool (not for swimming!) and some outdoor sculptures. You can view the outdoor sculptures for free. Short walk from Kenrokuen.
Experiencia fantástica: The main attraction of this place is an empty pool covered by a glass with water over it and it seems to be onther water. Beside this attraction there is a lot of art pieces very inspiring to see and a tunnel of plants really cool. The ticket cost ¥1400.
Experiencia fantástica: This is one museum I can recommend. The art is cool and they have some great displays. Probably one of the best displays is the pool which makes it appear as though people are walking around inside. Surrounding the museum too there are beautiful parks and cafes and restaurants. Recommended.
Experiencia fantástica: Recomended museum to visit in Kanazawa. in weekend this museum will be crowd and very crowd so visit this museum in weekdays. this place have a beautiful arts. this museum have a library too so you can read a book in here. Locker is available t
Experiencia fantástica: I love this museum so much. The works here are awesome. You may get coupon to buy a discount ticket.
Experiencia fantástica: In the heart of Kanazawa city are located the best museum in the perfecture , is my second time here and always surprise me, I really recommended to come with friends and your family.
Experiencia fantástica: Calm, peaceful and well-designed. Love the environment here and five minutes walk to Kenrokuen garden, such a great museum.
Experiencia fantástica: This museum offers a diverse and interactive experience to it's visitors. I very recommend!
Experiencia fantástica: The entry ticket price for the permanent exhibition is only 390¥ and 1000¥ for the complete museum including the temporary exhibition.
Experiencia fantástica: This was a great discovery for me. Oscar Oiwa, artist of Japanese decent, born and grew up in Brazil. Moved, lived and did his art in New York and Japan. Loved his paintings. Of course there were other interesting displays, but he took it over the top for me.
Experiencia fantástica: Just the free exhibits are enuff to spend a few hours here. Big and many exhibits to explore. The foam and the turrell room are amazing
Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful museum! Highly recomend the visit! Exibitions and museum building are amazing!
Experiencia fantástica: One of the finest modern art museums I've ever been too. Get there early. Check what day they are closed and prepare to be amazed.
Experiencia fantástica: This is a must place to visit in Kanazawa. The exhibition here will change time to time. If you are arts lover this is recommended.
