Experiencia fantástica: 個人的に都内のいくつかある大好きな美術館のひとつ。 山種翁のコレクションがいいのと、館長の展示企画がいいのかな。ここ数年はすべての展示会を鑑賞しに行っている。とにかく美しい日本画が揃っている。好きな人にはたまらないが（私は２周します）、興味がない人なら小規模ゆえに１５分で観終えるだろう(笑) 静寂の中で鑑賞したいので休みを取って平日に行きたいところ。週末などは混雑していることが多いため。おしゃべりが止まらないお客さんをどうにかして欲しいが、まあしょうがないのかな。複数人で来館してしまうと話したくなるのもわからなくもないが、私は９９％、美術館は一人で訪問するので。なぜなら鑑賞のペースを自由にしたいし、集中したい。 老いたのか恵比寿駅から美術館までの間にある歩道橋と長い坂が辛く、最近は都営バス日赤医療センター行きに乗ってしまう。歩けば健康にいいのだけれども(笑) 他に大好きなのは東京都美術館、国立新美術館、東京国立近代美術館、SOMPO美術館など。たまに練馬区美術館、目黒区美術館、府中市美術館もよい展示をするときがある。 勝手な言い分ではあるが、美術館は好きな人だけ来て欲しい(笑)というのは、複数人で来ておしゃべりしながら作品を指さして、爪が当たったらどうするの？というヒヤヒヤする場面を度々見かけるから。勘弁して欲しいでござる(-_-;) 個人的に都内のいくつかある大好きな美術館のひとつ。 …

Experiencia fantástica: 芸術と歴史の素晴らしい融合を体現した素晴らしい場所ですね。コレクション内容も多岐にわたり、国内外の優れた作品が展示されていて、展示空間のデザインも洗練されており、作品と共鳴するような美しい空間で鑑賞できます。すばらしいです。

Experiencia fantástica: 建物自体は都会の中の美術館という感じ。 竹内栖鳳の班猫目当てで来ました。 班猫のみ撮影可能でした。 全体的にそれほど大きな美術館では無いため、 作品と作品が近くて 目玉の企画展など、土日祝はスムーズに 鑑賞するには難しそうです。 オンラインチケットあり。当日館内でも買える。 ミュージアムショップも充実してました。 カフェは結構高めだけど、 一休みするには良いと思います。 建物自体は都会の中の美術館という感じ。 竹内栖鳳の班猫目当てで来ました。 …

Experiencia fantástica: There is a special exhibition at the moment focusing on two famous Japanese artists - Kobayashi Kokei and Hayami Gyoshuu. They have a cafe that serves food and Wagashi (sweets). The Wagashi are themed with the work of the two artists - for example the Wagashi here is a lotus flower inspired by Kobayashi's painting.

Experiencia fantástica: 速水御舟、川合玉堂、奥村土牛のコレクションを中心に、近現代の日本画約1800点を所蔵。1976年当時の社長が、安宅コレクションの御舟作品を一括購入した背景もあり「御舟美術館」として親しまれてきました。 照明の評価にかかわる賞の受賞歴を持つほど照明にこだわり、繊細な日本画を管理しつつもやさしく自然な光のもとで鑑賞できます。 1階が受付とカフェ。地下の美術展示は撮影禁止です。 11月初旬「速水御舟と吉田善彦-師弟による超絶技巧の共演-」にて、お二方の作品およそ60点を堪能しました。 西洋の顔料を使用していたことが発覚し、修復後初公開となった「和蘭陀菊図」をはじめ重要文化財指定の「名樹散椿」や「炎舞」など、じっくりと鑑賞しました。 吉田善彦が弟子入りしたのは御舟が急逝するまでのわずか6年ほどだったというが、影響を受けた頃の作品や、のちに編み出した「吉田様式」を用いた作品を鑑賞し、まるで熟達していく様を感じ取れるようでした。 速水御舟、川合玉堂、奥村土牛のコレクションを中心に、近現代の日本画約1800点を所蔵。1976年当時の社長が、安宅コレクションの御舟作品を一括購入した背景もあり「御舟美術館」として親しまれてきました。 照明の評価にかかわる賞の受賞歴を持つほど照明にこだわり、繊細な日本画を管理しつつもやさしく自然な光のもとで鑑賞できます。 …

Experiencia fantástica: 国立の美術館に比べるとコンパクトですが、日本画を中心に展示される作品のレベルは一流で、展示スタイルやライティングも工夫されており、高級感のある美術館です。 小さいほうの展示室のガラスなどはあまりに透明なので（ものすごく高いガラスだそうですが）、うっかり顔をぶつけそうになります。 1階の「Cafe 椿」では、毎回の展示の中から5つの作品をモチーフにした創作和菓子が抹茶やコーヒーとともにいただけ、盛り上がります。

Experiencia positiva: museum and tea place with Japanese sweets served based on the pieces showed in the museum... That's just great. It's a place to remember... I mean literally because with a no Photography nor note taking allowed in the museum... A bit sadden by that, because there were several pieces I enjoyed and wanted to remember and show friends but they were not available as postcards at the museum shop.

Experiencia positiva: The Yamatane Museum of Art is located about a fifteen minute walk from Omotesando station in the basement of an unassuming building. It’s a smaller museum so you should be able to see and enjoy everything in about an hour. The museum is currently featuring an exhibit by the artist, Uemura Shoen. She is famous for her paintings of beautiful women, mostly from the early Showa period. To be honest, I prefer the beauty standards of today’s Japanese women, but nevertheless, the exhibit was well worth the visit. If you have some free time afterwards, the Nezu museum is close by and is a fine museum as well.

Experiencia fantástica: 山種美術館の特別展「百花繚乱」展へ行きました。横山大観、小林古径、川端龍子、山口蓬春、荒木十畝、田能村直入など、花々が溢れるきらびやかな展示でした。梅に紫陽花、桔梗、牡丹、菖蒲に桜等等。花鳥風月、春夏秋冬、日本の美しさが詰まった展覧会でした。 また作品とコラボした和菓子もお抹茶と合わせて頂きました。大変美しい和菓子でした。

Experiencia fantástica: 駅からは少し歩きますが、日本画が素晴らしいです。ゆったりしたスペースで、展示作品を思う存分観ていられます。 どの作品も美しいですが、特に東海道五十三次を肉眼で観ることができたのが収穫でした。画法の解説もあり、技術の素晴らしさに感銘を受けました。小さめの建物ですが、内容の展示作品に圧倒されます。江戸時代の紙の作品が丁寧に保存されているのも、ありがたいです。 ロビー右手にはモニターがあり、短い解説を英語の字幕付きで見られます。 作品を堪能したあとは、併設の「椿カフェ」で季節の和菓子と飲み物でひと休み。 七夕にちなんだ「天の川」というお菓子は、ニッキの風味が効いて以外な組み合わせ。おいしくいただきました。マスクケースも付けてくださり、ご配慮を嬉しく感じました。 駅からは少し歩きますが、日本画が素晴らしいです。ゆったりしたスペースで、展示作品を思う存分観ていられます。 どの作品も美しいですが、特に東海道五十三次を肉眼で観ることができたのが収穫でした。画法の解説もあり、技術の素晴らしさに感銘を受けました。小さめの建物ですが、内容の展示作品に圧倒されます。江戸時代の紙の作品が丁寧に保存されているのも、ありがたいです。 …

Experiencia fantástica: A great place for great exhibitions

Experiencia fantástica: The museum had a beautiful exhibition of Japanese watercolor paintings of flowers of the four seasons. The staff was very friendly and the cafe was quite pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: Although small, this museum is worth a visit. The traditional paintings are exquisite. It only takes an hour or two to see the entire exhibit, which is perfect on a day of site-seeing.

Experiencia fantástica: A beautiful little museum. It's not a really big gallery but a lovely way to spend an hour or two. Be sure to stop in the cafe afterwards for some traditional wagashi (sweets) made to reflect the signature artwork of the day. The also play short films about the techniques used to paint nihonge.

Experiencia fantástica: This gallery is not as cheap as state museums, but it has a large collection of Japanese paintings of 19-20 centuries. It's worth seeing every time they change the exhibition. There is a small museum shop and a cafe where you can eat seasonal noodles and a small Japanese-style cake inspired by the season or even by a painting from the exhibition.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t know what the whole museum is like, but the Sakuta exhibit I went to was beautiful and laid out very nicely.

Experiencia positiva: Museum with rotating (often seasonal) exhibits of modern nihonga (Japanese-style painting). Not a huge gallery: you can see everything in a little under an hour. At the cafe you can get a tea and wagashi set.

Experiencia positiva: This museum can really open one's eyes to the diversity of nihonga, or modern Japanese-style painting. They prepare free English pamphlets for their changing exhibits too. The exhibition space is small and can quickly become crowded on Sundays and holidays, plus it is a tad expensive at 1200 yen. The cafe has matcha green tea and Japanese sweets specially created to match works in the exhibits, so can make for an interesting rest stop.
