Museo de Arte en Vidrio de Toyama

Experiencia fantástica: It’s definitely worth visiting. Each month has different installations I suppose but that increases the appeal. There’s a library inside and each floor has a different attraction . English descriptions are available so I could read easily.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely a 5 star place to visit in Toyama. Besides so many astonishing glass works from both domestic and international glass artists, the building itself is a great piece work of art while combing the function of museum and library. I will be nice to live close by and visit often. We had a great time here.

Experiencia fantástica: The permanent exhibit at 200 yen is worth it. If you just want to see a glass art but not an art collector. No need to experience the special exhibition for 1,000 yen. The building design is amazing!

Experiencia positiva: It was good but not as expected level. Entry fee 200 yen but they are not allowing to take photos inside. Disappointed, but for 200 yen it is ok to spend 1 hour here. They said should not post inside things pics so just added pics of outside.

Experiencia positiva: This modern museum contains galleries on multiple floors, with the top floor housing the Chihuly exhibit. Photographs aren't allowed in some galleries, unfortunately. The building itself is very interesting, and the unique design of the interior atrium is spacious and contemporary. The building also contains libraries, a cafe, and other municipal uses. The gift shop is a bit generic and didn't seem to have much museum merchandise when we visited. Some galleries were closed. Hopefully the museum will add galleries and exhibits in the future; we went through it pretty quickly.
