Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this place. Beautiful architecture and environment. It inspired me in my design work. The build was created to juxtapose the towering skyscrapers of Tokyo and it certainly does that. It is a low building with most of the galleries underground (there is still natural light though). The many exhibitions I have been to have not failed to be immersing and interesting. Even to admire the surrounding area which is beautifully laid with trees and water installments, it is well worth a visit especially if you plan to wander through Roppongi area.

Experiencia fantástica: A beautiful exhibition space hosting design-related exhibitions. I went to see “The Originals” exhibition and loved it. It showcased many different contemporary design masterpieces and did a good job at explaining and exploring the exhibition thesis. A must-see for design enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The park the museum is set in is also very beautiful.

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend to general person and art, architecture lover This is very artistic museum of Tokyo mid town. Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s architecture. And these days open very interesting exhibitions in there. The title is “The original” until this year 25th Jun <3 + Mid town is art & culture area. And nearby tasty desserts restaurants “Harbs” you can check review on my other contributes :)

Experiencia fantástica: Another masterpiece by famous architect Tadao Ando. The museum design is awesome! Also, the park surrounding the museum is full of Sakura trees. Definitely recommend to visit!

Experiencia positiva: It’s a nice exhibition that reveals how Parisian wrapped Arc de Triomphe for creating energy for the city. However, there was not many things that could be look, a bit pity. The museum (architecture) is excellent for sure, I definitely love it and quite recommend to someone who fancy at design of architecture.

Experiencia positiva: Small space with various exhibits throughout the year. Well located next to Tokyo Midtown. Came here for the recent event: 2121 Futures In-Sight. Installations are separated by categories: fashion, technology, food, politics, art, etc. and their predictions for the year 2121 from experts in these fields. There were lots of text and some of them had English translations. Would recommend for those interested in the future and how technology has and will change over the years.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my second visit to the museum. I love the size of it, and the intense focus on design topics. This is a real treasure in Tokyo.

Experiencia fantástica: Really enjoyed seeing the sketching process of designers in the “Secret source of inspiration” exhibition. Inspirations come from old trials, collected notes, everyday creativity. Wish I could have spent more time there. And bought some souvenirs, too.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my favorite museums in Tokyo in terms of architecture (by Tadao Ando). The museum has two buildings: one main building and a second smaller one that usually hosts free exhibitions which is nice to check out after an afternoon of lounging on the grass area at Roppongi Midtown.

Experiencia fantástica: A tiny but elegant place designed by Ando. Its sharp shape makes it so eyes-catching, but grey tone concrete surface looks so calm in the place, blending as a balance feel in one’s sight, wordless!

Experiencia fantástica: Not your usual art museum. It has a well curated thematic exhibits inside a Tadao Ando designed museum. If you like art in all its forms, you should come and visit.

Experiencia fantástica: The museum is a collaboration between an architect and a fashion designer. Tadao Ando expertise strikes you so beautifully that you completely get dissolved in whole ambience of this building. A small angular structure welcomes you into the museum and then main exhibition halls are located in basement. A wonderfully placed courtyard brings ample light into the basement and keeps the basement alive. The exhibition at display was worth the visit ss well.

If you’re a fan of cool and modern art installations, I definitely recommend coming here. Just the architecture itself is so worth to pay a visit as well!!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic gallery. When you was here the audio architecture exhibition was on show and it blew my mind. Fantastically well put together and not too busy also. The building itself is worth a visit too, especially after seeing other architecture by Tadao Ando before in Naoshima. There was also a second smaller exhibition and the shop had some tasteful merchandise too. Great place and a must visit if you’re in Tokyo.

Experiencia fantástica: Saw a really dope immersive video installation here. If you’re a fan of modern and experimental art, I definitely recommend coming here. The architecture alone is worth it in my opinion

Experiencia fantástica: 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT was born as a place to come up with and suggest design ideas with a focus on routine events and happenings. Pronounced “two-one two-one design sight.” Opened in 2007. It is managed by three directors who are all designers normally working in different fields (designer Issey Miyake, graphic designer Taku Satoh and the product designer Naoto Fukasawa), as well as an associate director (the journalist Noriko Kawakami). Designed by Tadao Ando, the building is envisioned as a sheet of folding steel. Sitting elegantly on the lawn next to Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, around 70% of the concrete structure is actually underground, and integrates the longest sheet of double-glazed glass in Japan. Experiencia fantástica: An amazing art gallery curated by Issey Miyake, built by Tadao Ando where you can experience some beautiful exhibitions. I have been there more than 10 times and I have never been disappointed once! Also, the circuit makes you wandering inside this well imagined building with this typical concrete structure by Ando. A must see in Tokyo!

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love!!! If you're visiting Tokyo you don't want to miss it!!! It's small, cozy and child friendly!! When I went there most of the people were children and the souvenirs were good !! Especially the magnets!! Best part is the sand
