Besides so many astonishing glass works from both domestic and international glass artists, the building itself is a great piece work of art while combing the function of museum and library. I will be nice to live close by and visit often. We had a great time here.

Experiencia fantástica: The permanent exhibit at 200 yen is worth it. If you just want to see a glass art but not an art collector. No need to experience the special exhibition for 1,000 yen. The building design is amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: It’s definitely worth visiting. Each month has different installations I suppose but that increases the appeal. There’s a library inside and each floor has a different attraction . English descriptions are available so I could read easily.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing glass art at the top floor. Some free glass art near the escalators. Great library too. Nice airy wooden architecture inside. There's also a cafe at the 2f, lockers at 1f. Temperature was checked when entering. Everyone was expected to wear a mask and spray with alcohol. Markers were at the floor for distancing. It wasn't too crowded too, so people just kept within their groups.

Experiencia fantástica: A must visit museum in Toyama! The library is stunning! The glass exhibits are amazing! Also blow glass exhibits by well known Italian Murano region Lino Tagliapietra. No photos are allowed for his work though.

Experiencia fantástica: This museum has an amazing interior. It has different areas for students to study peacefully, kids to read story books and play and adults to roam around. The fee to the exhibit on the top floor was around ¥300-400. This gives you access to 2 exhibits so I think that was fairly priced. There were other exhibits by some famous artists but we didn't get the chance to see it since it was a little pricey (around ¥1,000) and we also didn't have the time.

Experiencia fantástica: A short day trip from Kanazawa, the Museum features amazing exhibits and the building itself is beautiful. If you are in the town, or surrounding region, the museum is worth taking a detour to see.

Experiencia fantástica: Never expect a glass museum can be so impressive. The featured artworks can’t be photographed, but Dale Chihuly glass sculptures can! And they are WOW!

Experiencia fantástica: I came here for the Studio Ghibli exhibit, and then afterward explored the whole place. This is a fantastic art museum, centered around glass art. Glass art isn't very well represented in most art museums so this visit really increased my appreciation of this medium. The Chihuly permanent exhibit was amazing, and the special Studio Ghibli exhibition was very interesting. the Toyama glass art museum also has a library with many study spaces, a cafe, and a nice gift shop. I totally see myself coming here again for another special exhibit.

Sadly, you cannot take photographs in some displays . I really wish that I could share those photos with my family and friends. The best part of the museum is probably the glass garden at level ,6

Experiencia fantástica: This is a museum that is all about glass. I don't know what to expect but I am certainly blown away by the beautiful exhibitions and the interior. Definitely visit the special exhibitions. The glasses are so delicate and unlike the glass we usually see (like the ones from Venice).

Experiencia fantástica: The public library is the best i've seen so far! every element within the space was designed in the same language, from shelves, to consoles to signage, to even fonts! It was an amazing space to spend time reading, and even if you dont read a lot of Japanese, just relaxing and wandering in this space is an experience not to be missed while you're in Toyama.
