🗣️ Museo Nacional: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: If you are visiting Prague, this place is a must. The entrance hall is just stunning. The is a great evolution gallery, an exposition with minerals and another one about the Czech history. We have visited it in a week-day and there was no queue and we could by the tickets easily.
Experiencia fantástica: A brilliant mueseam well worth the admission price. So much to see and do and also offers viewing point of Wenceslas square from the dome. Grand architecture takes your breath away.
Experiencia fantástica: Exhibition in old building was really interesting. The building was beautiful as well. I visited this place with my girlfriend and we have spent about 2 hours walking. Exhibition in new building wasn’t actually interesting for us, but still worth to see. I can also recommend it for people who wants to find really good viewpoint (third floor)
Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful building, interesting and thorough exhibits, wonderful dioramas. I really liked how many of the displays and descriptions related directly back to the local area - nice way to put prehistory etc into context and set it apart from the ‘generic’ knowledge you might already have. Worth the visit even if you’ve been to many similar museums before.
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice muzeum. If you like evolution and nature or Czech history you will love this place. We spended there 5h it was great! Buy tickets before, or buy it online, because you can wait 15min in line for paper tickets during bussy days.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely gorgeous museum! The building alone is worth a visit. They also have an app with fantastic audio guide tours that lead you through the museum, from an architectural tour about the building itself, to several tours of the various exhibitions. Andyou get a wonderful panoramic view from the dome. Don't miss this beautiful museum.
Experiencia fantástica: The Národní Muzeum, or National Museum, is a prominent cultural institution in Prague, Czech Republic. It is located on Wenceslas Square and is one of the largest and oldest museums in the country. The museum’s mission is to preserve and exhibit important artifacts and collections related to the history, art, and natural sciences of the Czech Republic. The Národní Muzeum houses a vast array of exhibits, including archaeological artifacts, historical documents, artwork, geological specimens, and zoological displays. Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum. A must visit if you're coming to Prague. Definitely make sure to give yourself at least a couple of hours to spend exploring the various exhibits. There was a huge variety when I visited, from natural history to geology. There were a mixture of general exhibits and ones more focused on local history etc. The staff were really lovely and helpful, everyone was very friendly. I didn't go to the cafe or get any food/snacks, but I did go to the gift shop and they had a good amount of gifts available to buy, both general Prague themed as well as exhibit specific items. Everything I bought was very reasonably priced, definitely on the cheap side, but good quality. Make sure to check out the top floor as well for a great view at the end of the day!

Experiencia fantástica: Visited on Public holiday Wait time 30–60 min Reservation recommended Yes …
Experiencia fantástica: Wait time Up to 10 min …
Experiencia fantástica: I didn't have high expectations for some reason, but I was so wrong - the museum is HUGE and really interesting! The old building is very beautiful itself. I really enjoyed using an app and listening to audio guides while walking around - there's so many informational tables you can get lost. Really appreciate adding Ukrainian language to the app. I spent around 3 hours inside an old building and visited only 3 exhibitions. There's so much to see! Also, there's a coffee shop inside if you get tired. And a nice souvenir shop. Perfect place for dates ❤️ Must visit!
Experiencia fantástica: Really great museum with a ton of exhibitions. We only had the time to visit those in the main building, which took us around 3 hours. The exhibitions both include history about Prague and human civilizations, but also lots of animals and an impressive mineral collection. Outside the exhibitions themselves, the building itself is something worth checking out. They also provide free coat room service, which comes in handy during the colder months.
Experiencia fantástica: A great museum experience! The building is breathtaking and the exhibitions are well designed and impressive. I enjoyed listening to the audio guide through the mobile application and following the predefined routes while being guided by the app. My main complaint is that there was too much to see and hear and I ended up leaving after spending 3 hours in the old building. I suggest that tickets stay valid for a couple of entries so that one can come multiple times and enjoy the whole content.
Experiencia fantástica: Great and we'll looked after museum hosted in a stunning building. The minerals and meteorites collections are very nice and there is even a room with luminescent minerals that glow in the dark when exposed to UV light. You can also touch an iron meteorite and see many sections of how a meteorite looks inside. You can visit the cupola using the elevator but it's not that much to look at. The view is nice, but there are nicer things inside. The evolution exhibition is also very well put together, with many specimens and displays that helps you visualize the scale of some facts you read about. They do emphasize a lot on things discovered or located in the Czech region rather than focusing on global facts, but it's still an enjoyable result. It is the Czech Nationaluseum, after all. There are some other Czech history related exhibitions, for those interested. You can spend many hours here.
Experiencia positiva: A magnificent Building that in and of itself is worth the cheap entry fee to see. You can see from my photos just how beautiful the place is! The exhibitions are particular exciting except for the recent history one which goes quite in-depth with information of the time and area and has video works too. The Czech composers part is rather incredibly too. Some of the arrangements of items, mainly the armour feels wrong as they have a jousting helmet with a regular combat armour and the two wouldn’t go together. Staff seemed friendly and the place was clean, it’s worth an hour or two of your time
