Experiencia positiva: No tan interesante.

Experiencia fantástica: Jeg har fått meg en tur til Brokke medblåkors, og i den forbindelsen fikk vi besøkt setesdalsmuseet, en veldig fin opplevelse, Fikk oppleve en som var utrolig dyktig på fela, og ei som fremførte folkemusikk fra Setesdalen. Og her var også en del kunst og strikketøy. Så synes det var en flott opplevelse.

Experiencia negativa: Strangest museum I have ever visited. Hardly anything to see apart from a million sweaters. Lots of staff, every one of them ignoring visitors. Their body language made it very clear we were not welcome here, and we should leave.. NOW. I suggest not to go here, unless you're fond of sweaters.

Experiencia positiva: Bit of a weird experience, there's no clear signs where the museum parts starts and stops. When we came two employees ignored us till a third came and said we could just look around.. didn't charge us, so it was free which was nice I guess

Experiencia negativa: Ikke verdt å besøke. Syltynn og snever utstilling. Bortkastet tid. Mørkt og uvelkommende. Fyren i resepsjonen satt i sofaen og trykket på mobilen. Verdens slappeste arbeidsplass.

Experiencia negativa: Kom og så står det er stengt mellom 14-18 i dag 22.7. Svært skuffa at dette ikke stod her på Google maps. Men med 40min kjøring hver vei blir man sur

Experiencia positiva: Bunader og diverse ting og tang fra Setesdal.

Experiencia negativa: Setesdal, one of the most unique places in Norway where traditions and culture are present in every day life. The folks here are very proud of their heritage. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Setesdal museum did not portray the beauty of this UNESCO region. I felt the museum lacked viking findings (which have been plenty), a stav kyrkja that once stood in Valle, the unique and interesting setesdal dialect, the folklore pertaining to old farms and and stories from the old times, history and knowledge about the architecture/construction of the old farm buildings which still stand today and in many houses in which families still live in, the folk music scene here as well. Very prominent musicians in Norway which have mastered instruments like the hardanger fiddle and munnharpa (jew's harp); come from a long line of talented musicians/artists/silversmiths/blacksmiths; I feel more should be known about them. The typical traditional dance from this region also deserves an exhibition. I really feel it lacked many aspects of the rich culture here and it fell short on what is actually on display. Some tourists don't get to go to other museums or old farms and some begin at the Setesdal museum so I think it could improve a lot in that aspect. When I went they had an art exhibition (few paintings), a huge section dedicated to wool/knitting and on the third floor an exhibition on the local bunad and way of life back in the days. I only saw one sword that was displayed as a finding from the Viking age. The souvenir shop lacked shirts, caps or sweater merchandise or more things special to Setesdal. Luckily I had done my research long before I came here so I at least had some more insight on the region and what makes it stand out from the rest of Norway.

Experiencia negativa: Much history missing from several farms and items. Missing a lot of information about the stavkirke and where things have been found there. A lot of knitting To little about munharpa and its barely 1 sword from viking age. When there have been found much more items.

Experiencia fantástica: Flott og se tradisjon bli utstilt og tatt vare på!

Experiencia negativa: Wer sich für Schafwolle interessiert..... Ok. Mir war es den Eintritt nicht wert.

Experiencia negativa: Kunne jo ha opplyst at det var guidet tur på ene friluftsmuseet før kl 17.... Hadde rukket det om vi ikke surret innom det andre museet som heller var i dårlig forfatning!

Experiencia negativa: Ikke mye å se her. Smått. Mye skryt i Setersdalbrosjyrene, men da vi kom dit ble vi skuffet. Kraftutstillingen var dog litt bra.

Experiencia positiva: Mykje av interesser, særleg innafor bunadar, tømmerhus,lafting og vasskraft.
