1185 is the living biography of our Founder H.E. Obaid Al Ketbi. This collection shows the journey of an Emirati, pre unification, through the oil boom, to the thriving first world country the United Arab Emirates has become. The collection which boasts over thousands of items will easily transport you to many different time periods. Every piece of the collection has its own story which shows what has made His Excellency the man he is today.

Experiencia fantástica: Visiting 1185 was the best knowledge I have learnt about UAE. The life of discipline and devotion had alot of inspiring truth that I could not hold my tears. And thank you Dr . Obaid for having such a great inspiring vision and loving your country. Its a great experience visisting the museum.

Experiencia negativa: Showing open at website but when we reached that place e ceot gardening labour 1 person, nobody is there. Their contact number no response. It is suggested to confirm the open status and go. Since it is a remote area, you won't get return cabs unless you have an app.
