Experiencia fantástica: Lovely place to read about an ancestor. The empire panel was a highlight for me, but the effort put into the displays was very good to see. The breadth of work, the timeline. Although a visit will not be long it will be pleasant.

Experiencia positiva: Exhibitions of Frank Bragwyn, a British artist who lived in Brugge. His etching and oil painting are interesting and especially fit well if you just finished visiting Groeningemuseum and want to see more of Brugge's talents.

Experiencia positiva: Arentshuis je galéria s dočasnými výstavami, Salónon a múzeom venovanému belgicko-britskemu maliarovi Frankovi Brangwynovi. Žiaľ som ho navštívila v apríli,kedy sa prerábalo a bola len sprístupnená časť s Brangwynom, ktorá nemala až tak čo ponúknuť,keďže galéria je malá. Snáď už teraz,keď by malo byť prízemie znovu sprístupnené,je to lepšie.

Experiencia positiva: Un museo diferente para descubir por la originalidad de sus exposiciones temporales y las litografías de Frank Brangwyn, que retratan perfectamente la sociedad de la época. También asombran las dedicadas a la Pasión de Cristo, por su emotividad, y la perspectiva extremadamente personal que aportan.

Experiencia positiva: This one's very small, there's some interesting works to see, but if you don't have the BruggeCard that grants free access, I'd say skip this one. I really don't think there's enough to see to warrant paying to enter. However, they have a gorgeous large hall you can take pit stop in, with loads of comfortable chairs and sofas to lounge on.

Als we de musea in de andere volgorde hadden bezocht, had dit waarschijnlijk beter meegevallen. De tijdelijke tentoonstellingen was interessant en informatief

Experiencia fantástica: Underrated museum. There are temporary exhibitions there which change about twice a year. But the permanent collection of Frank Brangwyn is just magnificent. Worth the discovery. Etches, litho's and paintings, even furniture. Something else entirely than the typical art galleries and more about every day people which he came across.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a cozy and quite place. Almost no visitors. I guess it is because there are only paintings and music scores here without any relics. My favorite is this painting THE FALL OF THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS. Worth a visit of at least 1-2 hours. Exhibitions at the 1st/ground floor are in Dutch only. But those at the 2nd floor have English translations. BTW, tickets for people under 26 and over are 5€ and 6€. Reasonable prices.

Experiencia positiva: Arentshuis is a 18th-century mansion house situated between Dijver Canal and the picturesque Arentshof (garden). This historic property is now an art museum with a permanent collection of works by British artist Frank Bragwyn. The museum is open from 9.30-5pm daily and entry is €6 per adult. Note that if you plan to also visit the Groeninge Museum, you can buy a combo ticket for €12 per adult. This museum includes two floors, the first is reserved for temporary exhibitions while the upstairs is where you find the Brangwyn oeuvre. The collection includes some interesting and impressive works worth viewing if you are are familiar with this artist or simply a fan of art. You can be view both sections of the museum comfortably in 30 minutes, making it convenient Groeninge Museum nearby. However, if you are visiting Bruges with limited time, I would suggest first prioritising the Groeninge as well as the Memling Museum at Sint-Janshospitaal, both of which house important Flemish Primitive masterpieces. If you have additional time and want to take in more art venues, then consider adding a visit to Arentshuis.

Experiencia fantástica: I když jde o museum moderního umění, nejde o nějaké patlanice. Kupte si vstupenky na obě musea v Groeningu a navštivte i tohle. Můžu jedině doporučit.

Experiencia negativa: Interessant museum maar zeer onvriendelijk personeel. We waren een groep van 15 bezoekers. Er kon niet met kaart betaald worden ( museum stad Brugge???) en onze rolstoelgebruiker kon buiten wachten (2018??). Bovendien werd mijn collega op de koop toe nog eens uitgekafferd. Blijf daar weg!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent exhibition of Frank Brangwyn's work upstairs, Painter, etcher, lithographer, woodcut printer, furniture designer, born in Bruges in the late 19th century, died in Ditchling 1956. Hieronymous Bosch's "Last Judgement" has now returned to its permanent home in the Groeninge Museum after a brief (and rather short-distance) tour but this is still well worth the entry fee.
