🗣️ Cinemateca Francesa: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: lm Kwon Taek's le héros cache is good! Scorsese is good, too!
Experiencia fantástica: Legendary center celebrating the full history of French cinema, from earliest days to the present.
Experiencia positiva: Visited here & saw the Meliês exhibition & enjoyed it, very informative & plenty in English fortunately. Would visit again if in Paris & future exhibitions are to our interest as was good value.
Experiencia fantástica: For any cinema enthusiast this is an absolute must. The current museum exhibit on Melies and early cinema is fascinating and informative. There are many exhibits featuring original film equipment from the late 19th and early 20th centuries as well as clips of original material by Melies. Other classic films are presented as well, with q & a sessions afterwards. (This evening they were showing King Kong but we couldn't stay. I really would have liked to see it on a big screen).
Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting museum if you love cinema you must visit it
Experiencia fantástica: The Cinémathèque Française deserves more recognition as an engaging and entertaining activity. A must-see for cinema lovers and Paris visitors alike.
Experiencia fantástica: Best
Experiencia fantástica: I would give it 100 stars if I could. One of the highlights of 6 days in Paris. I'm a huge admirer of Georges Méliès and the film Hugo. The exhibit, while a bit small was everything I wanted it to be, well thought out, beautifully explained and brought me back to the 1900's in cinema. It's a shame much of his work was destroyed but those who love modern filmmaking owe it to themselves to learn where its roots began. Thank you Cinémathèque Française for preserving the early works and your thoughtful presentation. I will definitely return.
Experiencia positiva: I didn’t really have any expectations. I had never heard of it. However, it was a great experience. I did the spy and espionage exhibition. It was awesome. I learned so much and they had such a diverse set of movies focused on. From Bond to Mission Impossible to Hitchcock. A lot of the plaques were in French (which was expected and rightfully so) but they did do their best to do plaques in English. Rest of the museum was good, but the exhibition was definitely talking point!
Experiencia fantástica: If you need for WiFi to find your road after travelling or watch some movie is great
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing! The georges melies exhibition is a must!!! Also on every first Sunday of the month the museum is free!
Experiencia fantástica: The French Cinématheque, an amazing place filled with history.
Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly personal, the french souped os very recommended
Experiencia fantástica: This is place that any cinema lover must visit mandatory. Rich old movies program, museum of the cinema, shop for rare cinema related things. Dont forget that cinema is born in Paris, so its like Jerusalim for cinema fans.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice place for exhibition, library etc
Experiencia fantástica: Evereyone should visit the historical magical main muesem, there is a great equipment from a great pepole in the cinema history
Experiencia fantástica: Great experience for a great price!
Experiencia fantástica: Loved it here ! Very helpful friendly staff, went to she the Sergio Leone exhibition!
Experiencia fantástica: We saw a good expo on vampires in the movies. Very atmospheric and well-documented. There's a nice shop with movie posters and postcards as well as books. They also show movies here, obviously, mainly older and more art-house than at other theaters. Most only show for a single sitting. Check out their program online.
Experiencia fantástica: Lovely little museum. If you particularly enjoy the history of cinema this is a great place to go. It's bundled with the Paris museum pass.
Experiencia fantástica: I just went to the Vampire exhibit and it was great! I also went to the movie downstairs. Wow. What a place. I've gone twice in three days. Would go back for a rivette bag!
Experiencia fantástica: One the most interesting places in paris, a real tribute to world cinema. Costa-Gavras in charge making for the most interesting experience...do not miss!
Experiencia fantástica: Far from centre, so I rarely go but has an exceptional mediatheque, retrospectives for a low price and great exhibits around cinema and photography.
Experiencia fantástica: A lot of historic objects, the vampire exhibition is unique and vast, a must see
Experiencia fantástica: There is no question that is a must see if you are a movie fan. Constantly offering amazing exhibitions.
Experiencia fantástica: Any lover of film history cannot come to Paris and not see this museum!
Experiencia fantástica: Very nice exhibition, we went there one hour before closing, still mangled to see everything. The museum shop sells a wide collection of books about cinema. Theres a very nice cafe too
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent movie theatre to watch selected movies from the past, at a fair price.
Experiencia fantástica: A temple for cinephiles at the edge of parc du Bercy. Here you will find informative exhibits created by mad lovers of film along with the bookstore stocked with esoteric volumes on world cinema and obscure box sets. Films shown throughout the day, and there is an inviting cafe with a garden. How does one find way home?
Experiencia fantástica: Easily my favorite place in all of Paris. The museum of film is beautiful and fascinating, the two additional expositions I saw were also incredibly in depth and fascinating, and most importantly the screenings are amazing. Every film I saw here was either full or very near full, so make sure to buy your tickets in advance and arrive well before the start of the film to make sure you get a good seat. You won't regret it.
Experiencia fantástica: Great museum with a wealth of knowledge on the history of French cinema
Experiencia fantástica: Don't carry big bags, bagpack, suitcase, as you might not be allowed to go inside
Experiencia fantástica: The Best part is to find a place where cinema always be alive. You are not alone.
Experiencia fantástica: The Cinémathèque Française is a place every movie freaks should see at least once in their lives. A fantastic museum dedicated to history of cinema, great exhibitions and a good screening programming.
Experiencia fantástica: Historic and essential for any film lover. This place never fails to provide a ton of brilliant programming.
Experiencia fantástica: Great selection of movies. Discount under 26 y/o
Experiencia fantástica: The best programming of any cinema I've been to in the world.
Experiencia fantástica: Please note that museum is closed until 30 August, 2017.
Experiencia fantástica: Sound system is really great, seats are super comfy
Experiencia fantástica: Great expo, beautiful gif shop
Experiencia fantástica: Informative and eccentric collection in the museum. Be sure to ask for the audio guide.
Experiencia fantástica: Great cinema showing classic films.
Experiencia fantástica: Lovely exhibition on the history of cinema, it's really worth going there.. but it's really sad you are not allowed to take photos
Experiencia fantástica: Really great museum! I'm studying animation, so the content was super interesting to me. The museum tells the story of how cinema came to be, and how they first introduced motion and sound into it. It also has some props from some popular movies. The audio guides are free, you only need to provide an identification (from wherever in the world you're from), and they provide so much extra knowledge, so they're definitely a must-have. The museum doesn't allow photos, so here's a photo from outside. There's also a café if you get hungry.
Experiencia fantástica: Great place to be there for cinema lovers....In Paris
Experiencia fantástica: The church of Cinema, where it all began for moi et 1968 Film Group. One of best place's in Paris to see films, in one of the best buildings built for cinema. Excellent exhibitions also.
Experiencia fantástica: sometimes they invite film directors to discuss films, awesome!
Experiencia fantástica: Great experience, The heart of Cinema.
Experiencia fantástica: The Cinémathèque française, it's a beautiful building in the middle of a park nearby Bercy metro station. They have free wifi access and a coffee place where I just had a coffee and a chocolate cake, the prices are cheap ( unfortunately I don't had food ). The total between the exposition, museum and a film ticket it's around 14.50 euros, was an amazing experience for me he whole thing and people it's nice and speaks English. The library and the bookstore are amazing!
Experiencia fantástica: I loved the Musee--Hollywood has no sense of history and this is one of the best collections of movie material I have ever seen! From equipment (and costume) used by Melies and the Lumiere brothers through Film Noir, the museum shows you the history of film through equipment, costume, and film. There is a remarkable replica of the Metropolis Robot built by the man who made the original; storyboards from Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,; and a wonderful Charlie Chaplin caricature/autograph. I only wich I had had the time to go through their extensice film and publication ligrary! The Musee (and attached theater) is a short train ride from Paris and has a very nice little cafe attached. I recommend it highly.
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing cinema experience: very ecclectic choice, themed series, huge screen
Experiencia fantástica: Great place! I only went to the museum. Good information provided and amazing machines and historical registers
