Experiencia fantástica: This is a lovely museum of great historic significance. The mansion is very representative of the taste of the time and contains many interesting historical artifacts and many, many paintings. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you go on Sunday, it is free!

Experiencia fantástica: My favorite museum in Madrid. There is plenty to see, especially the library (I loved it) and the chandeliers from Morano (incredibly beautiful). There is really a lot to admire. Don't miss anything impressive in all this splendor!

Experiencia fantástica: Museum off the main tourist route despite proximity to the Temple of Debod. But it surprises by its beauty and size. There are 3 floors with historical pieces of an old nobleman's house. All very well maintained and beautiful. The fact that it's quiet and free makes it an excellent tour for everyone, from couples to families.

Experiencia fantástica: Another superb art collection donated to the State, this time by the Marques de Cerralbo. It is housed in a 19th century palace, the last residence of this noble, art lover and notable man of letters. A walk through the halls allows visitors to appreciate the numerous works of art that are on exposition as they were when the Marques lived there. Armor, paintings from the Spanish school, porcelain, archaeological finds and selected etcetera..is one of my favourite ones

Experiencia fantástica: A very underrated museum. Went on a Sunday, which meant my ticket was free but I believe it’s a nominal fee on the other days it is open. The collection is eclectic and wide-ranging — simply extraordinary, and there is also a beautiful garden space too. Well worth your time if you dedicate 1-1.5 hours inside.

Experiencia positiva: Museo interesante. Asequible. No lleva mucho tiempo verlo, aunque no me dieron la audioguía, que podría haberme proporcionado algo de contexto, ya que no había muchas placas. Si quieres pasar una hora, es una buena forma de hacerlo.

Experiencia fantástica: This museum is BEAUTIFUL! It was so interesting to see the house set up like it was in the late 1800s, with the original art and furnishings. There was one section of the museum that had a modern exhibit but it paled in comparison to everything else. Truly spectacular and free until the end of September!

Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing museum! The way the house has been preserved gives a unique opportunity to get a window into the past and see up close one of the most incredible art collections in Spain. It can be overwhelming with the vast amount of pieces there are. Sculptures, paintings, vases, tapestries, furniture and everything else in between. This is definitely a MUST do when you are in Madrid.

Experiencia fantástica: This museum is an excellent house museum in Madrid, with a boggling variety of many objects. Walking inside sort of feels like entering an alternate dimension of time and space, as the house is well preserved and looks much larger inside than it does from without. The temporary exhibits are also always interesting.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my favourite museums, I've visited many. Very well maintained. Plenty of wonderful objects and arts organised in a small area that you can because they maintain the crowd coming in. Worth the audio guide and queue because the pace was good. Not too slow. Free on certain days.

Experiencia fantástica: UK visitor. I've never seen so much stuff packed in to a relatively small place. In a nice way. Judy so dense with all sorts of collections from armoury to books to Arabian. Fantastic staircase and ceilings. Well worth a visit. Kids enjoyed ticking off objects on a sheet, 15 out of 10000. Very hard but help available for last few. Excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a stupendous example of how the upper classes lived in 1850-1910. Spend an hour admiring the fully furnished rooms and imagining what life was like for the Marquee and his class. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: An excellent mansion, with many interesting things to see. Each part of it is a real masterpiece. All the rooms are perfectly decorated , resulting in a beauty that can be compared to that of the interior of many palaces through out Europe. Just perfect!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the kind of place you can GET YOUR SWAG ON like oh my goodness what an insane mansion. Decadence is its middle name. Super dank textiles and chandeliers out the ass. Amazing clock collection that goes off every half hour as well. Cuckoo!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This stunning palace is one of the most beautiful museums in Madrid. It isn't crowded. At the ticket office they give you a guidebook to explore and understand the palace and his owner. The visit is about 1:30 long and it's recommended. You can also take photos, this is not allowed in other museum like the Prado.
